We had the junior suite and it was so quirky and amazing. I loved how the kitchen / living room area with sauna was separate to the main bedroom. It felt ultra cosy, especially with the wall mounted smart TV. Bathroom was extremely clean and big, spa bath was a nice little treat and easy to use. Didn't take long to fill. The sauna being an infa red one, wasn't steamy so we were able to enjoy it for longer and you can listen to the radio in there which was a great touch, especially with the disco lights. Bed was comfy, pillows like clouds, great room service full English in the morning - overall a great stay, definitely felt like a good escape away.

Parking was slightly awkward but I have a little Fiat 500; you may find it a little tight in a larger car. There wasn't much in the way of views out the window - however the room is so beautifully decorated and a real snug that you completely forget about the outside world and enjoy the comfort of the room for your stay.

I loved everything about my over night stay ! From the moment my host greeted me at my car , helped with my luggage and escorted me to my room ! I stayed in the deluxe suite with sauna ! As soon as I walked in .....wow !!!! I was impressed my host showed me around the rooms and how everything worked and said if any problems to just give her a ring ! No need as everything was perfect! The rooms were spotless and decorated in an amazing style ! The huge spa bath looked good, but I never used it , the shower and sauna was all I needed ! The sauna ....well that was fantastic and I used it in the evening and again in the morning before I checked out ! I never ate breakfast so I can't comment on it but the menu did look good . Plenty of tea and coffee to drink with a small kitchen which includes fridge, dishwasher,cooker ! Wine and champagne was available in the room to be charged if you used ! I never. I will be back next time with my wife as I was by myself this time. Thank you for a fantastic one night stay .

there was nothing to report here ! i loved everything about my stay !

We had a lovely room on the ground floor that was quite private and very peaceful. The bed was massive and extremely comfortable and the walk in shower was excellent. On the down side it was quite dark with only a small window that didn’t really have a view of any kind other than an outside wall. As many others have mentioned we were offered an upgrade to an upstairs room with a better view but at £50 extra per night we decided to stay put. Breakfast was excellent, just lacking an option of cereal and in keeping with most B&Bs you had to decide the day before what you wanted. The black pudding was top notch. Evening meal is not an option but with some many places to eat close by this isnt a problem. The hosts were first class; attentive but not over powering.

This was our first experience of the Lake District. We were very happy we chose this location as a base given the popularity of the usual Lake District locations. Great location and easy access to all attractions and walking trails, away from the crowds. We would stay here again on our next trip!

I stayed in the Butterfly Suite and it was great. The room was spacious, well decorated and well maintained with a nice kitchen with all amenities and not to mention the fantastic Spa Bath and Sauna. Breakfast was brought to the suite in the morning with fresh orange, coffee and tea and couldn’t have been more perfect. If you’re thinking of staying here, it might just be the best break away in the UK you’ll ever have. Jackie is friendly, helpful, informative and a great host. Highly recommend the Grange Boutique and will be staying here again.

Outstanding room, very recent renovation and class throughout. Attention to detail throughout facility. Good parking on site.

Noticed some things were in need of better finish, noticed you could see the pipe work under the sink from the bath , the bath panel needed replacing as was tired . The blind in the bedroom did not keep the light out . Unable to get a car parking space at the hotel on 2 occasions noticed taxis take up two spaces had to park on the paid car park which was only over the road

We were welcomed warmly by Jackie who had made sure our room was available for early check in. The suite was superb - comfortable, clean and cosy. The spa bath is an excellent addition. Jackie had even gone the extra mile to pre-order us a taxi so that we were not late for our restaurant reservation. This hotel is a real find and I highly recommend it.

Only one small point - there was no oven! I'm sure there's a reason for this as all other facilities were there.

The host met us when we arrived and was very welcoming and friendly. She offered advice about the area showed us around the room, including a few extra goodies that we probably would not have noticed that she not pointed them out. The room was immaculately clean, very quiet, the bed was amazingly comfortable and we got the best nights sleep we’ve had for several nights. The location was superb, the area around was totally charming inviting to walk around. Easy access to several different dining possibilities, and there was a Tesco express almost next-door. were very impressed and would definitely stay there again.
