Beautiful location with exceptional hospitality. Kay and Dave were lovely hosts who made us feel so welcome. We had such a fantastic time meeting them and their lovely dogs too. Breakfast was wonderful with so much on offer. Would definitely recommend staying here for a relaxing break. Slept so well, as it’s so peaceful, with one of the comfiest beds I’ve ever slept in. Thank you so much, and wish we could have stayed longer.

There was nothing that I didn’t like about the property 10/10.

There is nothing not to love about our stay. The accommodation was exactly as described. The beds were super comfortable; rooms were big and well stocked, even freshly baked cake. The bathrooms were spotless. The breakfast was to die for. Kaye was an amazing hostess, Dave was always on hand to assist.

There is not a thing that was not up to expectation.

The location is a Secret Hideaway, deep in the Devonshire Countryside. Very peaceful and welcoming with Percy the cat meeting us each time we came back. We were 2 couples on a trip to see an old friend not far away. The rooms we had were close to one another each with it's own bathroom so we were close but not on top of one another. The beds were very comfortable, and the huge deep bath was very well appreciated!! Kay made us a beautiful breakfast on the morning of our departure. She did a spectacular job of cooking us all poached eggs! Thank you.

The hosts were superb and could not have been more helpful. Perfect location for a quiet country escape and a simply wonderful breakfast. Super clean, dog friendly and very generous with the tea and coffee facilities. Excellent value for money. Almost forgot to mention the very quick response to all our advance questions and the knowledgeable recommendations for local eateries that were clearly based on personal experience. All in all we had a great two day stay in this beautiful corner of North Devon thanks to Kay and David's brilliant service at Witherhill Granary.

We came to the South-West for a week to walk parts of the coast-path, enjoy the English hospitality and everything else the UK has to offer. We found it at Witherhill Granary. Great location, wonderfull hosts, lovely room (with Netflix and ITV), superb breakfast and the sound of young owls in a nest nearby. At the end of the hall, we had a quiet private room, bathroom and a part of the hall (separated by a nice wooden door) for ourselves.

At the end of the hall we had less wifi-reception because of the thick century-old walls. The room next to us has a bit less privacy because their room and bathroom lay on the hall we had to pass through. A great bath, but no shower in our bathroom.

Warm friendly welcome from Kay, superb setting and garden, well equipped accommodation. Very good breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble including a jug of Pimms and lighting the fire pit. Would go back without hesitation.

We love Witherhill Granary so much! What a beautiful place! a real gem! The house is full of character, the bedrooms are gorgeous, and the owner is probably one of the nicest people you will ever meet. We have had such a lovely break with our children and our doggie. They all loved the garden and the gentle horses behind the fence ❤️ Thank you for everything. M&J

Kay and Dave are super welcoming and helpful. They have a beautiful home that was the perfect place to stay.

The host couldn’t have been better, Kay went above and beyond and the breakfasts were all perfect. Bed was super comfortable, and I doubt anyone’s bath is bigger or more unique.

Fab B&B, really comfortable room. The hosts were so friendly and generous. Delicious breakfast each morning and a lovely garden with fire pit we could use.

Only improvement I might make would be to add a shower into the bottom bathroom so each room isn’t sharing one shower room but other than that we couldn’t fault it.
