The king deluxe room was 10/10 . It was clean, well furnished and had everything required to make our stay perfect. We also had use of the gardens outside , which are spacious and tranquil and with safe parking . The daily breakfast baskets were a lovely way to begin each day , with fresh local produce and were delicious . On arrival, we met Stephen, who was friendly and welcoming and showed us to our room . A lot of time and effort has been put in to make this a perfect base for exploring Devon . Thank you for a great stay .

eautiful accommodation finished to a high standard with great attention to detail We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful property within easy reach of Bideford and other lovely towns and villages in North Devon. Our room was beautifully furnished to a high standard with a luxurious bathroom and well equipped kitchen/dining area. We stayed in room 3 which opened out onto a lovely courtyard and there were extensive gardens and areas to sit outside, this room even has its own small private garden which is ideal if you have a dog. Our breakfast was beautifully prepared with local ingredients and left outside our door in a cool box each morning. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to others

Stephen and Peter have obviously invested not only time but money in there wonderful accommodation . From point of checkin to check out really enjoyed staying at Moorview House . They went over above the welcome offered which definitely adds to the stay . I really must have had a lucky streak this past week one of two separate stays and both I had to give perfect reviews . Bideford is well worth a visit also for keen cyclists . Excellent value for money . Continental Breakfast was shear joy each morning . Believe me I have stayed in literally 100s of mid range accommodation with Booking.com (can be verified ) over the past two decades most are dross and expensive . Again sometimes wonder why the owners are in this area of the leisure industry . Faultless in my experience .

I think the cockerel needs seeing to with a 12 bore !!!! ( Joke ). I loved hearing him chat away to his Partners and mates !!!! (Only audible outside ,you are right in the countryside so not unusual .)

Wonderful host who is dedicated to the clients and to creating a good experience. The place is spotlessly clean. It is as described with fresh modern fittings and furnishings.

I wish I had known exactly what the breakfast content was so that I could have asked for natural yoghurt and generally healthy contents like more fresh fruit. It hadn’t occurred to me that it would be high sugar from reading the existing reviews.

This B&B is in a stunning location inland from Bideford on the edge of Exmoor. Outside is a meadow with secluded benches and tables for picnicking and eating breakfast in the morning sun. The only sounds were the birds and bees. Our host was charming and helpful, giving us plenty of information on the locality and some useful recommendations. This was one of the best proper b&b s I have stayed in. The breakfast was a particular pleasure being left outside the door of our room in an insulated hamper with cereals , local yoghurts and French patisseries. The weather was good so we ate outside. We shall be returning at some point in the future.

A small cosy pub on the other side of the meadow would have been ideal, but on reflection, our romantic bottle of wine and picnic in the sunset was pretty much perfect. There was absolutely nothing we disliked.

Nice touch with the dressing gowns. Lovely room and decor. Plenty of parking and the property is about 10 mins drive from Bideford. Good recommendations for eateries.

Breakfast was well presented in a hamper delivered to our room door at 8.30am. There were no options given so it was granola, fresh orange/apple juice, a thick creamy yogurt with a croissant, Danish or muffin. It was too stodgy for us though and needed some fresh fruit or the option of cereal instead. Two breakfasts were enough for us. The evenings were cool but the heating never came on although our host advised us on check in that it would. Our fault we were cold we should have let our obliging hosts know.

Room was clean, very well equipped and the towels were of a very high quality to go with the lovely wet room. They’d thought about everything and more!! The morning hamper was stocked with very good quality options and we loved our stay.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property apart from the satnav taking us through some very narrow lanes initially, however once we used the main route it was easy to navigate.

Breakfast basket was delicious, fresh local produce and enough to fill you up. Room was spotless, shower was lovely, the accommodation was modern, location quiet. Host friendly and welcoming.

Some of the roads to get here were a little narrow but after visiting the surrounding areas this is pretty standard for this area, after speaking to the host he told us of an alternative less narrow route which was better.

Everything was perfect from the time we arrived to when we left! Stephen greeted us with a full run down of facilities etc we stayed in room one which is big enough for a short or longer stay. The room was decorated to a high spec. Everything you needed for a lovely stay. Tea, coffee hot chocolate and biscuits were replenished throughout our stay. Hairdryer, soft towels, shampoo, shower gel, bathrobes and a lovely bath and shower. The bed was comfortable with a choice of pillows. A fan if you needed it and a torch too! The grounds are well maintained with lots of seating and such a peaceful quiet location. The best thing was breakfast. Delivered at 8.30am but earlier on request! From granola or muesli Yoghurt hot croissants and pastries. Slight change on different days with ham and cheese or muffins. Cafetiere coffee too. Fridge also available . We had the best time and loved having our chats with Stephen putting the world to rights. Thank you for all your hospitality We will return x

We had an excellent breakfast, beautifully presented in a thermos bag outside the door at 8:30. Quality local produce and slightly different each day. Delicious freshly baked croissants and pastries -yummy! Excellent home made granola too! Very comfortable bed and quality towels and bathrobes.
