This is a little jewel of a place. It is quite small but there is plenty of room and has great facilities. The hosts were welcoming and friendly but once you were settled in they left you to your own devices. It is ideally located about a mile outside Barnstable- a stiff walk or easy drive into the town centre. It is in a very quiet location, on a quiet suburban road. We heard no noise at all in the accomodation. Despite this, there is a large Tesco just a 5 minute walk away with a cafe and next to it a nice garden centre with a cafe. The accommation was scrupulously clean and well stocked with cups, plates, cutlery, tea & coffee and everything else you need. There is a fridge in the accommodation and a toaster and microwave in a nearby annex. Plus an outside patio for guests' use. We were there two days and would have no hesitation recommending it.

It was superbly comfortable and extremely clean. Facilities were ideal and a huge outside fish aquarium. Very snug and cosy with ample room. Lovely friendly hosts. The internet was adequate for normal texts and emails so ideal for a non business trip to a lovely part of Devon on the outskirts of Barnstaple. Close to Tarka trail if you like cycling or walking and a lovely garden centre and Tesco super store within walking distance. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The internet wasn't quite as good as I am accustomed to, but I could still use it for emails and texts, etc.

It is a cedar building in the back garden - but really well constructed, and inside is lovely. We needed a place within or close to Barnstaple to 3 day and this worked out really well, Really good use made of the space and nice comfy bed, Very quiet location. Host very friendly and helpful Good factifies eg although bathroom small it has nice shower, etc. and space skilly used in its layout There is no sink or any cooking facilities in the room so breakfast has to be prepared in room in side passage of house and taken back to toom. However there is a good side table. The host comes in during the morning and collects and washes plates, glasses etc for you.

Owly 'Ouse is a beautiful place to stay. The room is fab and exceptionally clean. The garden is beautiful with a relaxing seating area and hot tub to enjoy. Close to all amenities and beaches. The hosts are lovely and very friendly. Clean towels every day and beach towels provided for hot tub. Room is cleaned every day.

Everything was perfect

Warm personal welcome from Simonne. The house is as described, a separate little build in the back garden, but it has all the things you need, plus a few extras. The garden is great, so if you have the weather you can sit out and enjoy it. Lots of little nik-naks to explore, some large koi-carp, and a hot tub if you want it.

No complaints - we had a short overnight stay, and it was perfect for us.

Simone & Kim were very welcoming. The little extras they did like milk & soft drinks in the fridge for when we arrived, biscuits with your Tea, Coffee & Sugar. As well as washing our swim wear when we used the hot tub( which is amazing ) made all the difference to our stay. It is a very peaceful and relaxing place. We wouldn't hesitate to recommended their accommodation.

This is a lovely place to stay. It is a pretty little cabin in a garden that is well kept and quiet. The hosts are friendly and helpful. The cabin is well apportioned with all you could need for your stay with tea and coffee and access to a microwave and toaster if needed. The location is quiet and you can walk down to a local garden centre for breakfast or lunch or into town.

We have visited here a few times now and it never disappoints, it is immaculately clean and welcoming. Hosts are accommodating and friendly, it's like home only better. Hot tub always makes the stay perfect and we will be returning again in the future. Great location for a slow stroll into town, supermarket on the doorstep too. 10 out of 10 👍

Great location for towns. Very warm welcome on arrival. Liked our own space and privacy. Hosts went extra mile to dry our swimwear after hot tub use and did our washing up. We returned back from day out to dried towels and swimwear and clean plates. Selection of tea,coffee,sugar,sauces and toiletries available which is great if you have forgotten anything . Bathroom also cleaned everyday. Loved the garden and fish ponds.

We had to leave early as we had to get back early for work. Hosts very understanding about this and accommodating.

It was just right for us . lovely hosts and very friendly.The accommodation was very comfortable and had everything we needed . The breakfast we had was presented very well and there was plenty of choice and good value. We had lovely evenings sitting outside with a drink in the lovely garden .
