The breakfast was really good - everything you could possibly want. Staff replenished constantly. The toaster worked! Really friendly staff. Dinner was good but portions were too big for us. The room was comfortable and quiet.

We were given a ground floor room because of my husband’s mobility problems but it was almost at the end of the corridor so a long walk for him. The toilet was difficult to flush until a cleaning lady explained you have to push both buttons together. There should be instructions in situ.

Not too big a hotel where you could feel distant from the hub. Nice layout and clean. Reasonable amount of car parking space not too far from the entrance. Had a very good menu with variety. Fair portion meals. There is a good selection of breakfast foods. The basic mini gym was not intimidating with 4 machines. Some young staff were really friendly others the older ones were the opposite.

A member of staff possibly house keeping, entered the room. I felt uneasy as the room was already cleaned and the person did not have anything in her hand to clean. The staff at the reception did not seem bothered that the personal private space I paid for was violated. They expected me to find the person to aske why they came in the room as I was in a telephone meeting and was unable to question the motive. She went back out and shut the door seeing me there. This was the main negative report but a very important one. Would be nice to have a coffee machine instead of having to drink their regular coffee. Breakfast cereals are displayed in huge bowls with scoops which is open to flying insects.

The whole of the hotel was outstanding in both cleanliness decor views etc. the staff were exceptional in information and friendliness . The restaurant gave a good choice of menu and breakfast again was exceptional. We only wished we had stayed longer.

Absolutely nothing. It was exceptional from checking in, evening meal, bedroom and breakfast. No-one could have asked for more. It was also so good to see once again little extras in the bathroom ie box of tissues.

Front of house staff very welcoming and upbeat. Everything was in excellent order. Clean, comfortable. Excellent temperature control. View of the racecourse if you select one of those rooms particularly worth the extra cost. A well run and friendly hotel. Good idea having the water stations to fill up drinkers and the provided carafes.

Smiling, helpful receptionist on arrival after a long, hot journey. Pleasant room. Excellent breakfast in a bright dining area with efficient, helpful staff.

Bed was very firm making it slightly uncomfortable. I misunderstood the optional requirement to pre pay for extras, rather than paying when purchasing eg drinks and then needed to wait for a credit to my card following the stay.

An excellent (if expensive @ gbp18) Noodle dinner was very well received! Nice staff -everywhere.

amazed than no rooms nor even reception included a phone battery recharge (USB)! Fortunately, reception was able to lend me a 13-amp plug/adaptor, returned next morning - for which, thank you. But note that even village cafes in the Sumatran jungle have been providing (free) USB for some years already! I’m sure the mediaeval village of nearby St. Neots must be plumbed for this essential utility……………have a word with your neighbours.

I have stayed here before and wanted to stay again as I had a great experience the first time. I stayed in the standard king room 109 it was lovely and comfortable. I was able to put youtube on and have access to my own tea and coffees from my room was excellent too. The staff are very friendly and were kind and caring Particularly with our puppy who we brought to stay too after our dog sitter had let us down at short notice. I will be booking to stay again in the near future.

the WIFI signal is not great. 😢

We booked to stay here to attend a wedding. Before arriving the staff could not have been more helpful. We asked to check in by 10.30am (as did 40 other wedding guests) and it wasn’t a problem. I was told that they were asking staff to come into work early to accommodate our requests. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was also great - full English, continental and when I asked for my favourite brew (earl grey) it was no problem at all.

I didn’t have breakfast or any other meals but I’m sure it would have been as good as every thing else because I had to meet up with other people. Your staff are very polite and helpful

Well my breakfast wasn’t included in the cost of my room so there you go never mind I had a really lovely clean room and comfortable stay

Would be nice to have some complementary water in the rooms especially now that summer is approaching. I do know there is a water jug near the bar but the does not cut it for me but thanks.
