December 2024

My family and I stayed for 4 nights here over the Christmas period 2024 to celebrate our Mums 70th birthday and Christmas. We are originally from the area but moved up to the west midlands, so we wanted to come back down to be near family for a party. We all were super impressed with the accommodation and its facilities. Ella and Julie could not have been more accommodating if they tried. We asked numerous questions of which we always received prompt, helpful replies. The check-in procedure is emailed to you the night before your stay with very detailed instructions on how to access the apartments. The welcome hamper was delightful. It was such a lovely and much appreciated touch. Any issues we had, they would respond promptly and efficiently. The beds were comfortable, and the atmosphere was lovely. If we were to come back to the area and needed a place to stay, i would not hesitate to book in again. We highly recommend this accommodation to anyone and would like to say thank to such lovely hosts.

There's nothing we didn't like, but there are a couple of tweaks we would suggest. We'd have liked a mirror low down in the bedrooms so you can see yourself when trying to do hair / makeup, and a coat hook on all the bedroom and bathroom doors to hang longer items and some proper storage for boots / coats would be nice. The kettle needs descaling, but it's a hard water area, so I'm not surprised. I would have liked check out to be 11am instead of 10am just to give that bit extra time, as the cleaners were walking in to clean at 9.55, but I understand why, as they are most likely rebooked. It's a fabulous place.

The properties were characterful, comfortable and clean, and the barns in particular felt very high-end. The location was absolutely beautiful and tranquil, and made even nicer by the lavender in full bloom. We were absolutely delighted by the unexpected welcome package which made for a wonderful start to the weekend. Overall it was perfect for our group giving us space to socialise together whilst also having space apart. Thank you to Ella & The Pringle Farm Team for helping to organise our stay.

Nothing to dislike. It was all fantastic!!

I recently stayed at Pringle Farm in one of their chalets, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed—there was the cutest note left for me along with some essentials, which was such a thoughtful touch. The chalet itself was spotless and beautifully maintained, providing the perfect balance of coziness and comfort. It truly felt like a little escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. If you're looking for a serene and charming getaway, I can’t recommend Pringle Farm enough. Whether it’s for a short break or a longer stay, this place is a gem. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Absolutely amazing experience, although a mirror in the living room would be nice

Beautifully decorated and finished to a high standard. Good size accommodation for price. Fully equipped kitchen with all utensils you could ask for. Thoughtful welcome basket with bread, milk, eggs and various spreads. Plentiful tea, coffee and other hot drinks sachets provided. Spacious carpark, had 0 issues getting parked. WiFi and tv with full range of channels and casting capabilities. Comfy bed with tv with normal channels in the bedroom. Area was lovely and no noise issues etc.

The location was lovely in the countryside. A wonderful welcome basket and the place was spotless. We had a magical New Year’s Eve as a family of 3 and the base behind the location even had fireworks. It was very easy to find and the beds were very comfortable. Very easy location for travelling into Cambridge and to Sandy.

A very small thing which can not be changed but carrying all our stuff to and from the property, had to make a few trips from the car park due to having a travel cot and items for our 4 month old.

Nice quiet farm location within easy reach of A1/A14. Spotlessly clean self catering accommodation with fully equipped kitchen. A large comfortable bed with separate shower room along with comfortable seating in the compact kitchen, dining, lounge area made this venue a nice home from home. A small patio overlooking the landscaped garden was a nice place to spend time in the evening. Two private pod point EV chargers available by arrangement with the owner.

Nothing to dislike

The property was one of a number of properties on the site. Our particular one was at the end of a row and was very comfortable. All of the usual requirements were in place, but there was a wonderful mini hamper provided with a variety of treats including eggs, bread, cake, etc. The facility was very comfortable, relatively easy to find and parking was excellent.

Minor thing! The TV in the main room was really difficult to get a normal channel, where as the one in the bedroom was standard!

We had an absolutely fantastic weekend at this cottage! The house is exceptionally well-equipped, with every amenity you could possibly need. It’s clear that the hosts have thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. The bedding is top-notch, providing a wonderful night's sleep. The surroundings are stunning, offering a perfect escape into nature. Everything was spotless and modern, making the entire experience incredibly pleasant. We will most likely be returning soon!

Liked the quality of the fittings and design of the building. It had kept many features of the old stables in a contemporary way. Lovely lavender path takes you up to the property.

A step down from bedrooms to lounge may not suit the younger/ very elderly but not a problem for us as a couple and adult son.

This was a very well thought out and set up unit. I think formerly old stables that have been renovated and designed exceptionally well. Although compact, from a facilities point of view, had everything we needed.

This is not a negative just a point of view. Maybe for the outdoor seating, covers could be stored in the airing cupboard. Reasonably well stocked kitchen, but would have been nice to have the basics as in kitchen roll.
