Excellent accomodation, beautiful spot to stay, lovely views, scenery, quiet & peaceful - & good location for going out & about- Room was gorgeous, clean, comfy, brilliant facilities. Highly recommend and would def stay here again. Microwave, fridge, air fryer, hob, plates, bowls, mugs, cutlery - well kitted out, like a home from a home, little sofa & table & chairs - so has everything you need. The farm milk & eggs was a lovely touch.

accomodation was amazing, only criticism is the shower was really weak - like showering in a weak trickle but got the job done, room was quite cold which i was suprised about it was end of June but i am sensitive to the cold. Bed was warm & comfy though

Came here four years ago, it took us too long to get back here. Fantastic location, peaceful, quiet with your own little garden space to sit in peace and look out over the beautiful scenery. Breakfasts are great and the hosts are fantastic. You feel like you've got your own little corner of the lakes and we love it here. Come and go and you please with no interruptions from anybody else. I can't fault anything and you really can't. Though ive no doubt some people will but we all know that kind don't we.

The farm is a short distance from Keswick and was a great base for our Lake District travels. The owner was fantastic! We had hung our socks to dry in the room while we were out, and she hung them outside and brought them back in for us. She went the extra mile in multiple ways. The hospitality was fantastic.

The only minor thing we could mention here is that the water pressure wasn’t the best. I believe most of the times we went to use the shower, there was also a fair few other people using the water so this could be the cause. We weren’t massively phased as the water was hot and we were still able to shower.

Excellent location, beautiful views, cozy atmosphere to the room and much more than what we expected from our stay. We had an excellent time being able to chill out from day to day life, whilst also being at the foot of many great trails. The owner made us feel welcome and the farm life greeted us everyday.

Self contained apartment, comfy double bed. Private parking area. Nice wood burning stove with good supply of logs. Fabulous welcome pack with bottle of wine, milk and breakfast cereals. Central location for easy journey's to Keswick or Ambleside or beyond.

Only one little niggle, no mirror next to an electric socket for hair dryer etc Could be easily remedied.

The owner of the farm. Louise, was very accommodating and friendly. We had a spacious suite, which we really appreciated. The proximity to everything in the area was perfect. We also loved seeing the sheep and the shearing process. The location is beautiful, and I think it was our favorite place to stay in the UK!

The room was perfect, had everything we needed. The breakfast was amazing, and a great way to start your day off. It's a working farm, so we got to see some of the animals which we loved. The people that run it were just so friendly and made the stay so comfortable. We would go back again.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

My double ensuite room was really a self-contained studio flat. The kitchenette was excellent, allowing me to prepare lunches for my daily fell walks and also my dinners in the evening. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, milk, juice, and cereals were all supplied. There was a very good cooked breakfast each morning. Stybeck Farm is conveniently located between Grasmere and Keswick so a good location from which to explore the Lake District. The setting is lovely and peaceful; it is a great place to stay if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the towns like Ambleside and Keswick.

I have no major complaints. Water pressure in the shower was a bit low but it wasn't a big problem.

It was clean and well-stocked. The breakfast was amazing (the mushrooms were particularly incredible). The location was good, there's a small outside area with seating which was perfect for stargazing. It was right next to a bus stop to Keswick which was very convenient.

The local buses aren't very regular or reliable so bear this in mind.

The cottage is in a lovely location with wonderful views.Louise is a very hospitable host and the farm animals are delightful.Loved waking up to the sounds of the farm and a lovely prepared English breakfast.Thoroughly recommend .....we were very lucky to have warm sunny weather which allowed us to sit out and eat in the evening.....hope to book again in the future.
