The breakfast was good but maybe limited in choice. We have stayed many times at this hotel, the location is good. The staff were friendly and helpful.

More choice at breakfast. Fried eggs, better choice of cakes.

Very very clean. En-suite bathroom has a lockable door & (as well as the main lights) a nice dim night-light which can be left on to help navigate to the bathroom in the night without being dazzled into an unnecessary state of awakeness. Other hotels please take note. Very comfortable bed, duvet & pillows. Bargain price

Budget bog roll & budget breakfast, but at that price it's to be expected. On the 6th floor, there was a strong draught perceptible from the unsealed joint between the bottom of the window frame and the wall. Nice additional ventilation in a heatwave, but I would imagine it could be a nuisance in mid-winter.

The location was good, just a few minutes walk into town. Hotel was clean throughout and the staff, especially on reception, very friendly and helpful. We had a small issue in our room and got help and offered another room immediately without hesitation.

The breakfast times are a bit odd, finishing at 9.30 is pretty early. Also the breakfast setup is not very practical, the buffet in a small room with very little walking/waiting room. The food itself was alright but the setup a bit of a letdown. Price was on the higher end for a "Holiday Inn Express" hotel but as others have mentioned already, probably due to the concerts in town.

The 24hour check in desk was really helpful and all the staff were fantastic. It was a hot couple of days, so the air conditioning was a god-send.

It was expensive for what we got - it was £299 for two nights including breakfast. I can only imagine the price was high as some concerts were playing locally that weekend. The breakfast setup was odd too, they cram all the food and drink stations into a small, dimly lit room with a low ceiling, with no signage; so people are trying to get in and out through both of the doors and generally getting in each other's way, and in the way of the staff.

The location is not to bad in a good easy to get to area the room was very nice for the price was clean and nice bathroom. The staff there were great answered any of my questions and was polite. I used the restaurant that is in the lobby for dinner i asked what time it was open and they told me so went there for something to eat was great the food and beer was amazing bit pricey but great for what you pay for. The internet in the room was top notch no problems or drops it played YouTube on the laptop with good signal strength. Would recommend for sure.

I did miss the free breakfast as it does close a little to early for me as i got up at 9AM and by time i got up had a shower the breakfast was closed at 9:30AM so i missed out on that would be better if it was open to 10:30AM or 11AM but other then that no problems at all. That's more on me for being a late sleeper really.

Great location; about 40mins walk to the Cathedral via High Street and Steep Hill. About 30mins to walk back. £7.70 taxi ride. Hotel was warm. We had a room on the 4th floor, accessible by lift, and at the BACK of the hotel; it was away from the road noise (maybe if on the front of the hotel). The room was ideal for a short break; comfortable; spotlessly clean; plenty of tea, coffee and milk sachets ( and if there were not enough, just ask for more). The staff were excellent; polite, obliging and corporately dressed. Two were especially helpful (both named Emily). Breakfast was good and was buffet style; cooked or ‘cold’ and it was always being replenished (however, I did find a hair in my bacon and informed a member of staff…she did apologise). But, in fairness, this did not detract from our stay. Car parking was immediately to the rear of the hotel and easily accessible; it was discounted at £10/ day. We shall use the same hotel if we return to Lincoln for a break. Yes, we recommend this hotel.

Amazing choice for the included breakfast. Wonderful double glazing, no internal noise, very good area for eating and relaxing around restaurant and reception. Direct phone to book a taxi. Stairs and lift. Easy key cards for bedroom. Very comfortable beds, lovely mirrors around bathroom and excellent shower. Only 10 minute walk to town and railway station.

Only thing that spoilt stay is that the hotel take cash for anything, which is a nuisance as most elderly don’t like paying by card. You cannot keep track of what you spend by card. When your cash is gone you draw some more and know your balance.

Our room was comfortable with just about enough hangers and shelving. The desk and long drawer were a good size and very useful. The bathroom was excellent. The walk in shower with lots of grab rails made a big difference to me. The two lifts were very efficient so there was hardly any waiting time. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The car park was very handy. There was lots of choice at breakfast and there was even porridge and fruit compote. It was always busy in the dining area but the staff worked hard to keep up with demand. This hotel is excellent value for money. The towels weren't automatically changed - hooray!!

The bed was just a standard double and could have been bigger and a bit more comfortable. It was a shame we had to pay a daily parking charge.

The location was great for us as a base to go to a funeral in Boston Good value for money as a winter break. Staff very helpful and always smiling. Bed very comfortable, I miss a bath but the shower was good and toiletries provided. There is a good choice for breakfast of a hot buffet or continental (see below).

It is great the breakfast is included, however, the glasses, cups and meal plates need to be larger, saves people getting up several times or taking 3 plates to ,make a normal english breakfast meal, Would save on washing up and also person contact is flu season.

The room was a reasonable size and was clean and comfortable, The location was good - well within walking distance of the city centre and restaurants in the Quay area if the weather is good which, unfortunately for us, it often wasn't. We ate at the Holiday Inn Express on one evening. The restaurant was reasonable. The menu is fairly basic but the service was good and it was not bad value for money. The breakfast is excellent and is included in the room rate. The B&B rate was very good value for money.. Parking is plentiful and at £8.50 for 24 hours is not bad value. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We would certainly stay here again.

The restaurant menu is basic. You also need a microscope to read the menu!
