who ever did the decor needs to be congratulated it is very lush, the room we had is very spacious coupled with a very spacious bathroom with a rolltop bath, we where greeted by Phil, a very cheery person nothing was to much trouble for us anything we required just ask he said, help with our luggage no problem. the cooked english breakfast was tasty and hot,homemade patisserie on table aswell.we where able to park outside of the main entrance closer to our room because of my wifes diability.

This was a wonderful stay in a beautiful location. The court and its grounds were impeccable. Smart, tidy, clean, and bright. We arrived and invited to walk on the red carpet leading up to the entrance. Admittedly, it was for the prom that was also going on, but that's beside the point! We had a room which had a double bed and an adjoining room with twin beds, so my friend and I had some privacy from each other. Rooms had a kettle, cups, tea bags, etc. each. Furthermore, the room, which was on the ground floor, had an open shower with no tray. For able bodied people, this might seem insignificant, but for us, it meant a fabulous, relaxing wash. We were offered a shower chair, but we were fine without. We opted for an evening meal (which you pre-order). Sean's skills are second to none - it was delicious. Still on the food - breakfast was cooked to request with additional cereal, fruit, croissants, pastries offered... all gorgeously presented. Now the staff... we can not tell you how warm and professional and cheerful they were. Nothing was too much bother. They really added to the stay and are a huge credit to Sean and his team. We would genuinely stay here again. And Kevin... we're still counting on our joint TV venture proposal of 'Binge and Whinge' to make our millions!

Would have preferred Arm chair in room rather than two wooden chairs and larger TV. Apart from that everything perfect.

Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent location, wonderful building with great history both WW2 and film location. Clean and well maintained room, very good breakfast. Hope to return again in the future as excellent location for a visit to the Antique Centre nearby.

Absolutely beautiful and historic building being the former officers mess for RAF hemswell. Completely and sympathetically updated and kept. The staff are really helpful with excellent standards. Special hello to Phil who is an absolute star.

The TV in the room was slightly on the small side. For someone on the wrong side of 40. Any writing on screen was hard to read.

The staff made you feel so welcome and were so very attentive without being over fussy. There was nothing too much trouble and their manner was exemplary. In fact they are a credit to the compnay that employs them.

Staff were very welcoming and attentive. That made the initial arrival very special. Room was above expectations. Very relaxing and a good location for visiting local antiques centre and Lincoln City by car. Please note as this is primarily a wedding venue they do not operate as a normal hotel, so evening meals are specially arranged and have to be pre-booked. They do contact you and cater for every food allergy and requirement you may have. Overall a very relaxing retreat. If you like bespoke out of the way stays, this is the one for you.
