The owner was lovely and greeted us with a bottle of fresh water. They also supplied me with extra milk as there is never enough for me as I like my brews milky. There was a fan and air con unit which was great to keep us comfortable. The evenings were quiet and we weren't kept awake with lots of noise. Overall a reasonable stay at a reasonable price. We found the place easily enough and it was a reasonable walk to the underground stations. You are also close To a big shopping mall with plenty of food and drink options.

It could do with a little freshening up as it looked a bit tired and battered in places but to be fair for the price paid compared to other London hotels it was ok. Basic but clean and comfortable with friendly owners. I would have liked a couple of extra pillows as I usually sleep on more than one pillow but that's a small niggle.

There was a lot of dust on the higher surfaces. The hotel is, in fact, a terraced house. Therefore, it is equipped with a very narrow staircase. It would be very problematic, had we arrived with large luggage.

The room was clean, the bed was comfy, and the staff was extremely nice. Even though the location wasn't close to the center it was still very well connected. We had everything we needed.

We were 2 people in a 3 people room, and I think it would have been a bit small if we had actually been 3. The walls were thin so in the morning we could hear people in the stairs but at night it was completely quiet, so I can't mention that as a big complaint either.

Check-in and out is quick and convenient, staff are very friendly, the hotel reply quickly and are very accommodating about changing booking dates if needed. Clean rooms, good TV and channels, heater present which works effectively. Having a fridge is a really good feature and not many hotels provide one. I have stayed at this hotel multiple times now and have been happy with each stay. They give a water bottle as well which I really appreciate. The rooms are good value for money.

The hotel is close to the underground and bus stops. There is also a supermarket near the hotel where all your needs can be met. The hotel was clean. The sheets, pillows and towels were clean and our room was cleaned every day. The staff were very attentive and really tried to please us

If there is one thing I can see as negative, it is the lack of comfort of the bed. But since I was tired every time I came back from travelling, I didn't feel it much because I was so tired and fell asleep right away.

I like how I was able to book a room with 3 double beds. I was travelling with family and we had a bed each. Nothing was to much for the staff asked about how I'd get a taxi they booked it for me, rooms were cleaned daily. Our case broke and they said they would happily bin the broken one.

My only criticism would be no bin for sanitary products in the bathroom and touch of tlc needed in areas.

The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-located for people who want to attend concerts at the O2 arena (2 metro stops). The hotel itself was ok, but it's the people who work here that make it truly special. I highly recommend this place especially for the outstanding service provided by the amazing staff. Thank you for making my stay so memorable!

I saw the bad reviews of the double room AFTER I booked and was SO worried about my stay. I didn't need to be. It was great. The room I received was a HUGE improvement on the one pictured. I would advise the property to update their page on here. Raj was VERY friendly and accommodating. He provided decaf coffee and soya milk (after seeing my note about being vegan) which was not expected. Two bottles of cold water on arrival was a nice touch. The room was exactly what I wanted it to be basic, clean and comfortable. The mattress was orthopedic which was another lovely surprise as soft mattresses mess my back up. I was VERY comfortable on this bed. The room includes a fridge, TV, double bed, wardrobe, chair, kettle and fan and there is also shower gel in the shower. So all of this made for a very comfortable 2 night stay. The location is also great too. About 10 min walk to the tube station so VERY ideal for the O2. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this place to others. Thanks for a great stay Raj. Suggestions for Raj/hotel: Investigate shower issue source Bed side lamp Motion active lighting so that hallway light doesn't stay on and go into the room where the door doesn't touch the floor.

Although it’s an old building, it was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly. I arrived very hot and bothered after a long journey and the receptionist handed me a bottle of ice cold water (it was a very hot day) while I was checking in. He also helped me by carrying my case up the stairs. There is housekeeping every day, which many hotels don’t do now for short stays. There was also a fridge in the room which came in handy. It’s very convenient for Stratford East theatre

There was little water pressure in the sink and no plug, but the shower was strong enough, so it wasn’t a major inconvenience.

Affordable, friendly staff and good connections at Stratford (use the Elisabeth line - it has AC!!). It's easy to get to and there are several good resurants and cafes nearby. Stratford centre also has everything you need from Boots to Saintsbury's. It was easy to check in and there was always someone at the reception to welcome you home.

The facilities are quite run down but everything works.
