Exceptionally clean. I've stayed in over 20 hotels in the last year, this was outstanding for cleanliness. Bed extremely comfortable. Great shower. Good lighting, excellent placement of plug sockets, there were 3 by the vanity unit. There was also a fridge and a washing up sink. Room was huge. Parking outside, you gave your numberplate to reception. I was challenged at 11pm when parking, not a bad thing, means I felt safer on the property.

4 male staff stood very close to the reception area , can feel a bit intimidating when you are on your own and dont know the hotel or why they're there. Carpet was threadbare. Holes in the bedding, you didn't get a duvet, it was a sheet and bed cover. No nets or privacy covering on the window which was directly opposite a busy road and bus stop. So it was a case of closed curtains and light on during the day, if you were getting changed. The room was very tired looking, but you cannot fault the cleanliness.

Great value hotel not far from Stratford station/Westfield. 15 min walk or bus stop 1min walk away. Our room was the quadruple and it was huge! Only three of us but double bed and two singles. Beds were very comfy. Very clean. Fridge in room, which was very handy. Sainsburys local and Tesco Express a couple of minutes walk away. There was a proper sink in the room as well. Bathroom was very clean, shower, toilet and basin. It was quite hot when we were there but huge fan on the wall, kept the room cool. Proper opening windows as well. We loved the little window check in, it's quirky! Staff were very friendly and kind plus we had a laugh at check in. We would 100% stay here again. For how much we paid, it's really proper value for money. They don't rip you off like most hotels in London. Yes basic facilities but for what you pay, I think you get more than expected. Great location; directly opposite a bus stop, underground station less than 10 minutes away, Sainburys and Tesco Express right outside and Superdrug and H&M less than 15 minute walk away Great staff!! Very friendly and understanding! The room was thoroughly cleaned, the security for the hotel was tight and good, the bathroom was exceptional and the overall layout was very comfortable.

No plugs near the bed, plug sockets by the dresser didn’t work/were broken

The staff are accommodating and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble, stayed as a single mum with my 3 kids. Family room was so big, all had our own actual bed. Facilities clean. Excellent location to easily get into central London car park on site included made the whole process so easy. Thank you to all the staff - would highly recommend and honestly wouldn’t stay any where else now with my kids. Found the us place and I’m sticking with it. Thank you

For the purposes of what I needed and wanted it was brilliant. I can’t say anything I didn’t like.

Friendly reception staff, exceptional cleanliness, comfy beds, good shower. Had everything that was needed for one overnight stay.

Something outside the room beeped every minute all through the night…couldn’t find what it was, so couldn’t report it - may have been the fire door magnetic housing??? Breakfast was extremely busy with not a lot of space between articles for you to collect. Also a strange system for ordering hot breakfast items- but your order was handed to you almost immediately! A shame only one toaster was working as it took longer to get toast than any other food item on offer! Also, microwave was pushed back in a corner where people we’re trying to access hot drinks and the toaster too. Maybe the placement of these electrical items needs to be thought about again - for flow of guests but ultimately for safety. These were only minor things that did not impact on overall experience.

We loved the location, went to the London Stadium for a gig and it was perfect. Approx 20 min walk from Stratford station. Welcoming friendly staff. A big bonus was that there was a fridge in the room, great for a little pre- gig drink!

The walls were a little thin, you could hear everything but the room was comfortable, a lovely firm bed which was ideal for us. The one little thing that was slightly annoying, was that every time I moved the bed creaked.

The room was spacious and the beds were very comfy. Good location near shops if you need a bite to eat.

There was no shampoo in the bathroom and the tv couldn't connect to channels such as BBC/ ITV but there were streaming services such as iPlayer and ITVX which worked so I could still watch programmes/ movies on demand.

booked my stay through Booking.com, and it was a fantastic experience. The Viking hotel is located in a very convenient area, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The clinic room I stayed in was spacious, with an extra bed, which made it even more comfortable. Overall, it was a very relaxing stay at the hotel, and I highly recommend it to others!"

Staff were helpful and there was parking outside. Good value for money

No option for breakfast. Could not access reception on the day so had to speak to staff through a window. They said it was due to that part of the hotel being booked out but there were no people visible and even if it was, the reception should still be available. Still, a good place for the price

Room was lovely and comfortable, had everything you need, everything worked, bathroom was nice, even had a mini fridge and sink so yeah it was pretty great

My partner felt the room was too cold though I was okay. Location wise it was a bit far for me from the underground station, I didn't realise it would be that far but that's more on me than the hotel itself.
