Sonder confirmation emails are very confused. Don't like being asked for ID before arrival.

- The place is quiet and safe. There are nearby underground stations (10 - 20 min walk) - The front desk staff were friendly and Sami was understanding and accommodated to my early check-in request - There is no cleaning services. I personally don’t have issues with this as I don’t need daily cleaning for my short stay and there is supplies in the lobby (e.g. toilet papers, trash bags … etc)

- I received a fraudulent msg from the hotel to confirmed my payment details outside of booking.com. I do think it was handled poorly by Sonder and booking.com customer services. My biggest concern was whenever I received a msg, it was unclear if it is a legit update from the hotel or a fraudulent msg

The room was quite nice, comfortable bed, toiletries and towels provided, as well as hair dryer and they have the iron on site. WiFi was fast. The check in can be done online and the instructions are clear how to get in. Location was good - there are a few direct bus lines to Oxford street. There are lockers that are free of charge where you can store luggage if you need to (after check out or similar).

Check in is kind of late - 16:00h and it’s only possible to get in earlier if you pay.

Location was out of the main activity areas however was right near numerous bus stops which were really helpful. Room was nice and good value for money. Good amenities provided. Really nice reception area. Good wifi. Easy check in online and check out.

Nearest laundromat was a bit far. Beds were comfortable but a bit squeaky. The bathroom sink had really strong water pressure which sometimes meant if used at full pressure, it didn’t drain quickly and would start filling up the sink if unchanged, bit weird but got used to it. Would have appreciated another charging port on the other side of the bed.

The location was great, very easy access to transport. The room was comfortable and clean to start. I liked the self service of water, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, it was a good idea.

We stayed 7 nights and was told at the start that a clean of the room isn't done but can be at a charge. I feel that if you are staying more than three nights that perhaps a clean is appropriate free of charge. We were able to get new towels when needed but a sweep or vacuum and removal of rubbish would have been appreciated. Also the bed was a little uncomfortable and rather noisey when you roll over during the night.

Lovely decor. Great location. Very quiet and very comfortable

No bedside lamp or dimmer so when we returned from our night out, the lights were too bright. Looking at the other rooms on the website, I’d suggest this was merely an oversight

Cannot fault the room at all. Extremely clean, plenty of amenities, was happy with the mini fridge too! One of the best hotel rooms I’ve stayed in. 10/10.

Only criticism would be the PIN codes you need to access the hotel. It gets a little confusing as to which PIN you need, maybe it could be made a little clearer.

this property was PERFECT for two people. the location was amazing. 10 minute walk to the tube, and quite an easy walk. we did this walk multiple times a day and it was fine. the room itself was clean, had an air conditioner, comfortable, had a tv, and came with most toiletries. the check in process was so easy, our room was even ready early. using the code to get in and out was great, we never had to worry about a key. I would definitely stay at another Sonder. amazing value for the price.

there was a “fridge” but it was warm inside. shower water was mostly warm / cool.

The room was clean and tidy. Comfortable bed and decent facilities. The price was competitive and the staff were helpful. It was easy to get additional things like loo roll and coffee once we realised they were downstairs.

There was no option to have fresh linen or the room cleaned during the stay. This would have been an issue if we had stayed longer. The room was a little cramped, with nowhere to sit other than the bed. The shower was very cramped, I hit my head several times (I'm only 5ft7 / 171cm), so if you were much taller it would really have been a pain. The location was ok for our needs, but a little in between, being 20mins or so walk from either Kentish Town or Camden Town. Good public transport though.

Very clean and well organized hotel with self check-in and friendly staff. The room was small, but perfect for this solo traveler. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. The nearest tube station is a 20 minute walk, but bus stops on the road outside the hotel.

I asked about early check-in at 3 pm (4 pm is the official time) and was told it would cost £20! This is just greedy. I can understand if I was asking for 2 or 3 hours earlier, but one hour should be no problem. The other thing was there was only one small table in the room that served as nightstand and had the hot water kettle on it, but the power outlet was away from the bed, so I'd have to move the table whenever I heated water. It doesn't cost so much to add a proper nightstand and have the table.
