Whenever I go to London, I always stay in Camden. I knew this hotel is very close to Chalk Farm underground station (Northern Line), and that is very convenient when arriving at St. Pancras and when navigating the city.

We knew the property was being renovated, as they warned us for noise during working hours. When we arrived we learned that we were staying at the Enterprise hotel at the other side of the street. I've been there before, and it's a classy vibe, but for this getaway I was looking for something different and more colorful. Reception told me all rooms are being renovated and every booking had been transferred to the Enterprise.

The location was terrific. The staff was very nice and the room was big enough to move around. The shower was great, the bed was big and comfortable and the AC worked well. It was dark in the room and quiet enough outside to sleep even though the street was so close. The room felt modern and relatively new. Patrick was very nice and helpful.

The floors and curtains were very dusty (likely from the recent remodeling) and there is no minifridge (maybe that's just not common in London). Also they were doing some remodeling and the construction workers woke us up drilling and hammering in the morning even though we were told they were just finishing up and definitely wouldn't be doing any of that. The hallways can be loud. We only had construction and a few others on the floor but I can tell if the place is busy, there is work going on, or the other guests are being loud in the hallway it would be very loud and bothersome.

1 min walk from Chalk Farm tube station, 4 supermarkets within 100m, next door to Camden Town Market with large variety of eateries. Staff welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Room clean and modern, same for bathroom; plenty of tea/coffee making facilities provided. Stayed for 5 nights in one room with two late teens - they slept on large bunks and were happy with that setup. Strong recommendation.

No chairs in the room for sitting. One was supplied immediately when requested, useful for working on email with laptop on small desk early in the morning.

The rooms were a really high standard and bathrooms. Shower was excellent and everything super clean. Location was superb. Staff were all really friendly. Air conditioning was so good it was like a fridge. Beds were super comfy.

We didn’t not like anything more that the pool area closed really early. Before 10. There were no darts because someone had broken them. So that was a shame and the breakfasts were a bit underwhelming. The blueberry pancakes needed a sauce and if they are going to be called Cream blueberry pancakes they need to come with loads of cream we thought….. also maybe a selection of more tea in the rooms….. and a pack of biscuits is always a nice touch….

The bed was very comfortable! The shower was excellent. There was a kettle and tea/coffee which was very welcome, and the room was serviced every day. The location was brilliant!

It wasn’t made clear at the time of booking that we would actually be staying in a different hotel across the road, due to renovations. Therefore the rooms were completely different to what was pictured (older and dated rather than modern and vibrant).

Fantastic location if you don't want to stay directly in the city centre. Chalk Farm tube station is literally across the road, Camden is a short walk away. Check-in was super easy, the room was clean and as advertised. Comfortable bed, WiFi was reliable and strong.

As is often the case with London accommodations, I found the price quite steep for what you get, but then that's London for you! I also found it a bit confusing that the actual entrance and rooms of the hotel are across the road from where it's supposed to be. Also worth noting that the rooms are above a pub, so it's a tad noisy; I only stayed during the week, so don't know how 'rowdy' it gets on weekends.

Fantastic location! Room was equipped with all the essentials and these was plenty of tea and coffee with decent sized mugs. There was even a coffee pod machine and complimentary water, that was replenished on the 2nd day of our stay. Left the room last one day and when we go back they had been in a given us fresh towels, made the bed etc - usually if you miss them doing the rounds in the morning none of this happens. Pub down stairs was a really vibe and had decent priced drinks for London - used it many times over our weekend stay.

When the lift was in use you could hear it and if you were staying in a room closer to it i think it might have been more of a problem.

Was a bit dubious post booking our stay after reading some reviews regarding size of room and noise, all concerns were unfounded. Lovely size room, massive TV, decent coffee machine, lots of space to sprawl out all our belongings and for myself and teenage daughter to get ready. The room wasn’t too noisy and the staff were really friendly. The location was excellent to explore both Camden, and just across the road from northern line to explore more of the city. Really happy with our stay and would definitely stay again.

A few of the lights weren’t working and the milk wasn’t replaced when room was cleaned. But they probably would have fixed these issues if I had raised them. But neither were really important for me to bother with.

- Overall, it was much more comfortable that I expected and could be considered a value-based boutique hotel. I had read some of the previous reviews, and I was a bit concerned. However, it looks like the current management is trying to improve the place. Everything looked new and cleaned up, and they had provided some wonderful touches like water in glass bottles that you wouldn't have expected. - The location is terrific. It's right off the Northern tube that's within 30 minutes of most London attractions, and a short walk to Camden Market. The food options are great, not just at the location but a short walk away. Camden Town is one of the quirkier London neighborhoods, which I find more comfortable that some of the other places in London. - The breakfast at the restaurant was terrific. Kind of a mix between an American and British breakfast that was enjoyable and served in the prompt manner. - Downstairs there was a sitting area you could use as an office.

- Shower wasn't quite warm enough - Bigger towels would have been nice - A real chair would have been nice

The Hotel is at a great location, we stayed one night as we attended a concert at the Electric Ballroom, which was a 10 minute walk away. The room was cozy and clean with all the amenities we would expect. The bathroom was very nice as well. The hotel is located above a restaurant which was really convenient as we didn't have a lot of time to walk around and go out for food. The staff seemed helpful and friendly.

The one point that made our stay less comfortable was that you could hear everything from the hallway within the room. It would be nicer if the soundproofing was somewhat better, as we're both very light sleepers this made our night a bit less restful, so might be worth packing some earplugs next time.
