The historical 140 year old building⭐İt has a kitchen ⭐ 12 bed female dorm best for me ⭐Clean ⭐ beds with curtain⭐ Lounge big, beautiful⭐ Underground station is 4 minutes away.

Sooo small kitchen, very very less utensils,.⭐ It closes very early. Must be until at least 1am. ⭐ Tea machine often broken. Buy a New one please. ⭐

Great old style house, curtains on beds, carpet in the room. I must say shower rooms were there best among all other hostels I stayed in UK. Spacious, enough hooks to hang things, water temperature was good too. Also good shared space where you can work or relax. When I checked out I couldn’t use lockers for my suitcase as they all were occupied. But the staff kindly helped me to keep it behind their counter.

Everyone says, I know, but kitchen is way too small. I read the message that it’s hard to change it, but maybe there’s still something they could do to improve it.

beautifully decorated, the bunks are private and comfortable the doors to the dorms are really loud and bang whenever opened or closed without care (which is most of the time) also the luggage space under the beds are super loud to open and close, people tend to have no consideration for others in the dorm who are trying to sleep so that can be a little annoying

Very clean and felt secure. The provision of curtains on the bunks is excellent - not all hostels have them. Despite being in a big dorm it felt quite cosy and you had some privacy. The communal areas are clean and nice to be in. The staff a friendly and helpful. It is not a party hostel which worked for me as I wanted quiet.

It is a bit hot in the rooms and hard to get fresh air.

Generally, the place lived up to its promise. The breakfast was satisfactory, and I also appreciated the atmosphere of the common room, where I could relax before going to sleep.I also liked the facilities close to the place, like shopping, the barbers, the movies and the underground and bus stations were also close. Perfect for a single guy's trip. I could also always find a free restroom and take a bath without waiting for one to be free.

Some of my roommates were snoring loudly, but you can get used to it, that is why you plan with earplugs. Those are also provided by the place, as it turned out.

Outstanding Experience all round; it's like an old-school reunion but with only your best mates - the entire Staff/Team are truly the BEST in London; hands-down a Master-Class in customer service. I daresay they'd give the Four Seasons a run for their money despite it being labelled a 'hostel'. Everything about Palmer's is spot-on - the Location, Staff, Ambience etc.etc. Where else in London can you get a £7.00 breakfast buffet with freshly baked croissants (daily), free Tea (all day) plus an on-site bar to boot?! Kudos ladies and gentlemen - If I could spend both Christmas and New Years with you I wouldn't hesitate; I'm in Love!

Restrictions on Stays is a heartbreaker folks :-(

This was my 4th stay here (and I’ve already booked again for December 😃). The place is incredibly clean, with some of the friendliest, most helpful staff I’ve ever met. Breakfast is delicious and affordable, a great way to start the day. The building itself is full of charm and history, which adds to the unique atmosphere. It's also well located, close to the Tube and plenty of shops and supermarkets. Moreover, you get to meet amazing people from all over the world. This time I've met some lovely ladies from Indonesia and Japan. Can’t recommend it enough! ❤️

Honestly, I can’t think of a single thing I didn’t like. Every stay has been smooth, comfortable, and full of good memories.

Dorms were very spacious with plentiful storage space for each person under the bunk bed.. At night the curtains provided good privacy. The room was very warm at night which was lovely and the beds were extremely comfy and spacious. Rooms were cleaned daily while I was out, so it was always on good condition. And the radiator let me dry my towel throughout the day. Locked myself out of my room once and the staff were very helpful. Spacious bathrooms shower stalls had lovely warm water at good pressure with easy to use knobs for cold and hot, so I didn't get sprayed with freezing or hot water. They were also cleaned daily. Breakfast consisted of different pastries and bread and unlimited hot and cold drinks. With very helpful and friendly staff to guide you if you are confused. Laundry room where you can use am iron for free or wash your clothes, I'm not sure of the washer and dryer cost.They looked like university launderettes size wise. My roommates were very kind and everyone respected each others space. The bedrooms were quiet mostly, as it's where people were resting. Location is very close to 2 underground stations within walking distance and surrounded by many places to eat. Also, very decent price for a week stay. People also turned up on the day without a booking and were able to check in no issue, which was good to see.

The towel I rented was a bit small, perhaps I should have rented an extra one or carried my own for next time. Also I left quite early in the morning before the 7am breakfast so if breakfast started earlier I would have enjoyed it . Additionally, if there were more filling breakfast options such at oat porridge or flapjacks - but that's justy preference. The bathroom gets quite wet and slippery in the morning and evening when many people are using it - I would recommend bringing slippers. Additionally there's not a lot of storage inside the shower stall for your things - most people kept them outside of the bathroom (where it was perfectly safe). None of these things would stop me from staying here again, it was delightful, safe and warm.

The house itself it’s beautiful as well the common areas. The location in great. Lots of food options around. Near all the major parks. The personnel working were all kind and well mannered. Special kudos to the bartender. The cleaning team did a great job with some guest that were really doing a mess in the room. Hard job for them but great results.

Something that I learned on this trip is that in big cities expect to meet crazy people in a hostel. In 2 weeks i encountered several people who didn’t behave properly inside the room. Eating in the room at any time, speaking on the phone when everybody was sleeping, listening music or hearing movies without headset. I know the property warns people about the rules that are supposed to be followed. But not everybody is emphatic enough to behave in a social space like a hostel.

It's in a lovely location, close to shops, the underground and bus stops, making it easy to reach central London. The area also felt quite safe even for walking alone at night. The staff is super lovely and are happy to answer any questions you have. I was shocked at how spacious the room was. With 12 beds I was expecting to be in a crammed space but everyone had loads of space to walk around and use their storage drawers. The curtains on the beds were great for privacy and it felt like you were in a little cubicle of your own. The bed was also really comfortable (better than my own bed tbh) and I'm so grateful we had two massive fans in the room because the building is quite warm and the bedrooms are no exception. Had no issues with noise, everyone was quite respectful of the quiet times and you were able to sleep in peace. Breakfast was delicious. I'm not a breakfast type of person but every morning I looked forward to it as soon as I woke up.

The female-only bathroom was out of service, which forced me to use the unisex bathrooms. It wasn't too bad since the shower stalls were individual and fully closed and had a lock on the door. But those stalls get super stuffy from the hot water and lack of ventilation and it would've been great to have the freedom to open the door a little bit for fresh air without being worried about men walking in. In regards to cleanliness, the area by the walls in the bedroom could use a thorough vacuuming but it wasn't a big deal for me. The bathrooms were overall okay but obviously at the end of the day and after many people showering the floors on the shower stalls got a bit dirty but to be fair I've seen a lot worse.
