Booked after reading the good reviews, we were very happy. The size of our twin room was good (big for London standards!) The bathroom, although small, was obviously newly refurbished, nice and clean and the shower worked well. We appreciated the electric fan in our room (Room 22) and the fact that the windows could be opened. Comfy beds with clean, crisp bedding and two good pillows with a cushion and throw for extra comfort. Kettle, tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits. The TV worked well. I'd phoned ahead to ask about a hairdryer and was told to ask for one when we checked in, this was delivered to our room within minutes. We checked in at the bar, and the person we spoke to was very pleasant and helpful with questions re a local shop and bus stops. The hotel is very close to Westercombe Park Rail station, and it was VERY easy to get to and from the O2 Arena (the reason for our stay). We caught a bus to and from the venue and there were instructions in our room regarding the correct bus to catch and the stops to use - very helpful. I couldn't log in on the 'Guest Hotel' wifi, but tried the 'Guest Bar' wifi and got in immediately, so all good. So good, that I've booked again for a future concert visit.

The only bit of the room that looked un-refurbished was the bathroom door. It is a sliding door, but it was quite jiggly to get it to close and noisy. Would be nicer if it was fixed, but should not put you off staying here!!

Our 2nd visit, we booked the same twin room again as it was roomy, warm and clean. We were off to the O2 again, and this location is perfect. You cross the road and there are the bus stops, to and from the venue. About a 10 minute (in traffic) trip. When we arrived, the central heating wasn't on, but I found a plug in oil radiator in the cupboard so used that, but early evening the heating came on, and was still warm when we arrived back from the concert at about 11:30pm - it also came on again early morning. Nice and cosy on what felt like the coldest day of the year! (February 2025) It's easy to check in at the pub on the ground floor. This time I asked for a hairdryer on arrival, so I didn't have to go down again to collect one. You just leave it in your room on departure, and there is a box on the wall by the exit to leave your room keys when checking out. Tea and coffee and biscuits in the room, also a vending machine for soft drinks and snacks in the lobby at the bottom of the stairs. Good communication from the hotel via Booking.com prior to our visit - I'm sure we will be back next time we are going to the O2.

The bathroom, although very clean is tiny and a funny shape which makes using the sink a bit awkward, and there is a big step up into the bathroom too (Clear sign on the wall saying 'Mind the Step' - you just have to remember that in the dark in the middle of the night!)

The room was clean and well stocked with tea coffee and enough milk!! (So often there aren't enough of those little pots!!) Staff were friendly and it was ideally located for our visit to the O2. Sink in our room as one with a shared bathroom was helpful.

Unfortunately the bathroom on our floor was out of order a large proportion of thr time we were there which was a little awkward as has to go up or downstairs for the next nearest one, although admittedly we spent more time at the hotel during the day than we might have. No signs for do not disturb, which might be useful.

The location was within walking distance to both the riverside and to the O2 arena (25mins). Staff were really accommodating and friendly, the bar downstairs is great for a drink before or after a concert at the O2 and the locals are lovely! The shared bathroom facilities were kept very clean. Room was a good size and bed was comfortable enough. Hotel provided the basic toiletries needed (towels, soap bar)

As it's an old building the floors creaked a bit so you can hear people above or in the corridor walking occasionally but this didn't cause too much disturbance.

Great location, clean room, a sink in the room was very convenient. The staff members were friendly and helpful. I really appreciated being able to safely store my backpack for a few hours after the check out time.

It was a bit noisy in the evening as you could hear everything in the corridor. Also, someone started smoking past midnight and you could feel the smell. However, the main issue was the night shift staff member and the guests having a long and loud discussion/argument in the corridor, which was a bit annoying.

Location is great, and it is on 2 bus routes towards the 02 and back into Greenwich itself. I apreciated the booklet in the room with local travel info especially to and from the o2. Building was beautiful! Staff really friendly helpful and pleasant on check in. The room was basic, warm and functional which is all I needed! A kettle provided with tea//coffee and biscuits. As a solo female traveller I felt secure in there. They are currently refurbishing and I think the room I stayed in had been recently done, very clean and nicely decorated.bed and pillows were comfy and clean. Shared bathroom and toilet was very clean as was my room. Good value for location, access, comfort.

I didn't like having to provide my debit card number on a piece of paper on check in despite being told it would be stored securely then shredded. Would love a breakfast option, even simple.basic one.

Affordable hotel near the O2 Arena which was what we were in London for. Beds were comfortable and clean and just what we needed for a short stay. I appreciated that they provided a room for three people, as I was travelling with two of my friends and we didn't want to get split up. The staff member we spoke to upon checking in was very friendly and welcoming, and let us know about some things to do during our stay in London.

Our room was functional for a short stay but I wouldn't like to stay for longer than we did, as we had to leave our room for the bathroom and shower, and the room got very hot being on the top floor even with the radiator turned off. My friend struggled with the lock into the building, and almost needed help getting in but did manage eventually. Checkout wasn't until 11am the next morning but a member of the cleaning staff knocked on our door just after 10 asking when we were leaving and seemed confused about us still being there, which was a bit off-putting and made us feel a bit rushed to leave.

Warm welcome when checking in at the bar even though the lady was busy. Simple check in process, ID check, 1 simple form to fill in, then sent secure link by email to input card details for the required deposit. Room was a good size with good views (we were right at the top, stairs were a struggle for me but took it slowly). Beds made with nice crisp white sheets, comfy pillows, thick duvets, with additional cover and cushion. Mattresses were thick and so comfy. Tea and coffee facility in the room.

Emergency services sirens a few times through the night but obviously this is not the fault of the hotel, I am a light sleeper, others in my room didn't hear them.

I staff were friendly and the bar downstairs seemed very nice. I would have liked more time to spend there but we were there only for a short time. The room was simple but clean and comfortable. The communal bathroom was a little strange for me but I understood that before we travelled. It worked just fine.

My driver told me the cost was probably a bit high for what is normal in the area. Also, a private bathroom and Shower would have been ideal, but again, we understood this before we travelled. I would have preferred a more central traditional hotel, but I would have no problems booking again if the hotels closer to the O2 were full.

Room basic but comfortable. Convenient to where I was visiting, transport links were good. On a main road but I had a room on the side which was quite quiet. Amazing view of docklands with all the skyscrapers. Had a shared toilet and shower but never saw any other guests and shower had plenty of hot water

It was a good place for a night or two, I was there midweek so pub was quite quiet but could be busy at weekends and check in is in the pub. I did leave through a side door so that is better as bar could be crowded
