It was good to check in early, Josephine was very helpful and friendly. The location was perfect for our needs with the little railway just across the road. It was a busy road but our room was at the back so it was nice and quiet. It was a large room with two double beds. Very clean and comfortable beds

Just small things really. The shared lounge looked a bit tired. Not much kitchen equipment in the room, apart from eating cutlery. Fortunately I always take a couple of my own knives to cut up fruit for breakfast. A chopping/bread board would be useful. Ditto the shared kitchen , we couldn't find a lid for a saucepan, had to use a plate.. No towel rail in the bathroom.

Was visiting the area for a party at a golf club and this hotel was just down the road so an excellent location. Room was very clean and spacious. In fact when my friend and I arrived and they realised we weren’t a couple, the host kindly moved us to another room that had two double beds in it rather than us sharing a bed, which was very good of them. Hosts were very friendly. There was tea, coffee and biscuits provided, we took our own milk which we kept in the fridge provided, we didn’t book a breakfast but took our own instead. Would definitely stay here again.

The two rooms we had were very clean and comfortable. The lady who let us into our rooms was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect as we wanted to go on the Hythe railway. Also short distance to the beach.

A few things could do with a bit of attention ie there was no lampshade on the centre light in one room. The curtains in the other room were tricky to open and shut.

Staff are excellent , looking after us . Rooms were serviced daily , bed was comfortable , the room is larger than expected with WIR and ensuite , as well as a bar fridge and the same size freezer , with a microwave and electric jug . Tea & coffee & milk sachets and some biscuits are supplied There's a communal kitchen available , also a laundry . Parking is right out front of premises . Would we come back ? we didn't leave , stayed for 2 more days .

Nothing , it suited our purpose .

We relaxed and visited the beach and steam train and had lovely fresh fish and chips just a nice rest.

It was a short stay and the staff couldn't do enough for us they welcomed us and ask if we would like tea and coffee welcomed us in to there own facilities this won't be the last time we will stay here jelly baby and Kim will be returning for a longer stay thankyou

On our arrival we were welcomed and immediately our room was changed to a ground floor one, instead of having to climb stairs to the 3rd floor, which my husband might have found difficult with luggage. This was very kind and thoughtful and we are grateful.

We were satisfied with everything as it met our requirements.

Small studio with basic self-catering facilities. Conveniently located between seafront and main shops. Comfy bed and clean. Easy self-check in experience, with good communication from the proprietor. Nice pub next door, and very close to takeaways and grocery shop. Friendly housekeeper.

Furniture a bit dated, but reflected in the price.

Quality of accommodation better than expected for the price point. Handy location for local attractions and amenities, off street parking, bright and comfortable room, straight forward check in procedure with proprietors responsive via chat for any issues or questions.

Shower was a bit cramped with not great water pressure, but adequate nevertheless.

Location, close to Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch station, as there was a Gala Weekend 21/22 October.

Unfortunately there lacked a table in the room, somewhere to put the computer and prepare and eat food. In fact, for the price, breakfast should have been included, but I did know when I booked that it wasn't. Reference to a nearby cafe had not been checked. It was CLOSED that weekend. Fortunately the Railway cafe WAS open and saved the day. But for other guests not so good, the cafe only being open when the railways was running.

Was a bit worried about the self check in but Dino the manager was there. Had a lovely room,had everything and more in. I couldn't get a signal on TV but there is a large TV in lounge so watched the football with other guests,some actually live in the hotel and I can see why as it has everything you need. Situated opposite the steam railway,easy walk to beach and town and buses along coast.Perfect.
