For the excellent price OYO Stade Court Hotel was really very good. The staff (including Niki) were lovely and helpful. Parking is free. Wi-fi good. You are right next to the beach. Room 403 was superb. A downstairs bedroom for 2 adults (with a TV) and an upstairs small room for a child - with a separate TV. There is a downstairs bar which was nice to sit in for a drink. TV volume was turned down upon request. The view from the room is over the beach. It's a 10 min walk (or so) to the very nice high street in Hythe. We were comfy and happy and I would certainly go back to this property if I was ever close to Hythe again.

No soap of any kind in the bathroom (so take your own). Shower pressure was also very low.

The room was very clean, bright, spacious with ample storage, and friendly helpful front desk staff. Great views in the morning and good shower and bath.

Although the rooms well very clean and bright with up to date furniture and sheets etc. the corridors and stairwell and unused dilapidated function rooms you go through or pass by to get to your room can be a bit sad… but I guess it would cost a fortune to do such a large hotel like this up fully. So the fact they concentrated on the rooms themselves, which is the most important part, is a good thing. But this is fine. For me this is not some kind of destination hotel to hang about in, it’s purely for sleeping and be in a great location.

Lovely stay. Super reception, lounge and bar area; all newly renovated. Staff exceptional. Bedroom 311 an absolute gem of a room with a lovely sea view. Room 314 had an upstairs bathroom and a good sea view. The Hotel is committed to a forward going upgrade and they have made a fantastic start.

There isn't anywhere to get breakfast or hot snacks but I am assured this is being considered for the future. It didn't impact on our stay as we were aware before we came. Be careful if booking through Bookings.com though, they advertise balconies for these rooms, there are no balconies at this hotel. The corridors are a little shabby but this is being addressed - they will get there. We will definitely stay again.

The staff is amazing, very friendly, helpful and smiling, we felt very comfortable. The bar is small but there was everything we wanted and the staff was also very good. The location is very good and there's a private parking. The hotel is dog friendly but everything is very clean, not like the other dog friendly places where we stayed before. We spent a very nice bank holiday weekend, I honestly recommend this place.

We had a scaffolding behind the windows so they couldn't clean the windows and the sea view wasn't as clear as we expected but it's probably a temporary problem. I would also invest in a mini fridge in the room, even for extra cost (just a suggestion)

Late review ! We stayed in this hotel in April when they just re open again. The whole experience was great from start to finish . The room with sea view was great, just w steps from the beach , the weather was not very pleasant but that's is not hotel fold 🙂 because of the weather we stayed in the room with nice view , room was freshly decorated and was very clean , we have some nice wine from the bar they have downstairs with very good prices. I will definitely be coming back to this hotel . The lady in reception was very helpful and friendly, was noting too much for her and the other staff . Good luck !

I was very impressed by our room. You could tell it had been recently decorated and new carpet’s installed. It was very clean and perfect for our stay. We had booked a double and a single bed (family room) and was surprised to see that our room was split into two floors where a separate room for the single bed and the bathroom could be found. This was great and suited our needs. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely book again. Whilst the car park is small there is free parking along the seafront so we parked easily.

The lift is tiny and only fits a maximum of three people. We had a stroller and was unable to use the lift as it wasn’t large enough to fit so we had to carry the stroller up three flights of stairs. If guests have a wheelchair or pram/stroller I would advise you contact the hotel first to see if they can meet your needs before booking.

Beautiful location right on the beach. Easy walk of the lovely Hythe High Street. It’s currently under renovation and we had a freshly renovated room. It was immaculate. The staff went out of their way to help us and we had fresh towels every day. The rooms were spotless and the beds were extremely comfortable. Greg in particular is an asset to the company and has pride in his work.

The rest of the hotel is under a refurbishment, we would have loved to have breakfast available at the property and use of the communal areas. Although we do understand the work needed to be done Again outside the property has a lovely decking area which just needs a good refresh for the summer.

The ladies on reception were so lovely and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The location was perfect for us, close to beach and high street. Lots of places to eat and drink and found somewhere perfect for breakfast as there was no catering on site. Beds were very comfortable and thankful for the tea making (and the frequent top ups!)

If I was being picky the plumbing seemed a bit dodgey, but nothing that spoilt the weekend. I wasn't expecting top end as you get what you pay for but was very comfortable and would definitely go back!

Nikki and her colleagues were extremely friendly and extremely motivated to ensure customer satisfaction. The bedroom had a beautiful sea view and was newly decorated. Bar and outside area has been refurbished and a great place to enjoy a well deserved drink as the weather was 31c. There is a car park at rear with CCTV. The hotel is still being refurbished but did not interfere with our excellent stay at this sea front hotel. Good value for money we will stay there again this year. Well done Slade Court Hotel

The location, the staff were amazing, nothing was to much trouble, especially as we had a couple of room issues. The renovations will be amazing when completed. But there are lots of places local to grab food and room supplies so all good. The price was fantastic and we would definitely stay again. Just remember it is a budget hotel and well worth a visit.

In all honesty there wasn't anything we didn't like, clean friendly budget hotel, great location.and would definitely give it another go regardless of renovations.
