Great location, ev chargers, an actual restaurant serving good food with fantastic service but best of all… the staff. Especially the Gent who I assume was the manager, checking people in. He went above and beyond both visits. A real welcome. Hats off!

One of the toilets in the room wasn’t working properly on both our visits. I except to someone just flushing it, it flushes but when used by anyone even a child. It wouldn’t flush properly. We also travelled throughout Europe staying in various Holiday inns and other hotels. However this one, in the UK, the only car park we had to pay for. I thought spending £300 on rooms and another £90 In the restaurant would be enough. If you’re staying it should be free! Charge the ones that don’t stay.

Loved our overnight stay here. Perfect location for the tunnel. Early breakfast available from 4am with takeaway bags and cups. Restaurant bar open in the evening but we didn't use these. We had a few hours to kill in the afternoon so found a great park near the beach and headed for a pub tea. Room was spacious and clean. Double bed large and comfortable. Close to petrol station to re fill car, mc ds and a big Tesco. 10mins in car to town center.

Pull out sofa bed wasn't very comfortable for my 9yr old, she slept well in the end though. I didn't read description properly or didn't realise that you had to pay for parking, only £4 for 24hrs though.

Rip-off price for dog accomodation @ £30/night ( hotels in France & Spain charge €5 Very poor car park illumination, requires bright floodlighting Parking spaces far too tight, difficulty getting stuff out of car External rubbish bins full, spillling waste onto floor Seedy industrial area, uncomfortable walking our dog during darkness.

The room was nice, clean, and spaceous. Bed was comfortable. Good breakfast. Sufficient parking space, and use of EV chargers. There's a lovely walking path opposite the car entrance of the hotel. It's a pity that you can't do a full roundtrip. On Google it seems to be possible, but if you go under the railway and then back towards the hotel, you run into a gate of a military estate and you can't seem to go around that.

I can't recommend dinner, all three of us didn't like it. The escallop was very tough to chew and dry. The toastie was wet and hard at the same time. The fish goujons were one chunk of fish with quite a lot of batter.

The hotel is very convenient for the Channel Tunnel. We had an accessible room which was excellent. It had an automatic bedroom door which meant no more struggles with managing a suitcase whilst trying to get into the room. Once inside, the room had a large walk in shower with a seat, grab rails and alarm. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, and the staff were warm and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent and evening meal was good. If you are travelling to Europe via the Channel Tunnel I would recommend this hotel for its convenience, and will 100% use this hotel again in the future.

There was nothing to dislike at this hotel.

When we arrived we were greated by a lovely gentlemen who quickly checked us in. He told us useful information about the shuttle for the next day and also helped with sorting out our breakfast for the morning. We checked into the rooms and they were perfect, couldn't fault them. My mother asked if she could be changed to a disabled room and this was done with ease and made my mother feel very comfortable and listened to. When we checked out very early in the morning our breakfast to go bags where already ready making the start to our journey that much better having a hot bacon or sausage roll. Over all an amazing stay and if we need to use the shuttle again we will 1000% book here again. 10 out of 10.

Good modern comfortable hotel, the room was spacious with every comfort.

The food was some of the worst I have ever tasted. I had an evening meal. The chicken and bacon in batter was acceptable but the peas and green beans were disgusting, it was impossible to cut the beans let alone eat them. No one bothered to ask if the meal was good. The only other downside was and maybe because I’m from the older generation, would not take cash. Which meant you were constantly using your credit card, not even the opportunity to enjoy the facilities, food and drinks and accommodation and pay in only one action. Very not user friendly and very inefficient.

Room was spotless. Bathroom the same with a clever door that closed just for the toilet or the whole bathroom. The bath towel was a bath towel, in other words big, not like some hotels. It was nice and quiet. The staff were very nice and helpful. Decent bar choices and a good meal menu at reasonable prices. We had the scampi which was delicious. Lovely breakfast with a great choice. Best thing was our little dog could stay and even though we had a dog friendly room it was perfectly clean. He also enjoyed the dog treats thoughtfully provided at reception. We would definitely recommend this to a friend and will choose this hotel next time we come across via the eurotunnel as it is extremely close and convenient to get to.

Buffet breakfast with many options, such as: Fruits, cereals, omelette, buns or brioche.... etc. Room was large and good location. Beach nearby was very clean and the parking was free for 1 hour on certain places. Staff was very helpful, especially, a beautiful lady with friendly oriental look and who served breakfast on 01/01/25 at about 8: 00 am. I will recommend her for staff of the month award by IHG for being very helpful and supportive to the customers or for the 'Best customer service award', if you have any. I don't know her name but you can find out who was on duty in the dinning hall on 01/01/25, from 7 am to 9:30 am. WELL DONE MY LADY!

Breakfast time started 6:00 am when no one is awake and finishes at 9:30 am. Too little time given to those who wake up late. The third beg (other than the master bed) given was not comfortable to sleep. I used the third bed & I couldn't sleep the whole night due to the noise made by springs of my single bed while my family slept peacefully on the double bed. Beach & high street is located 12 min drive from the Holiday Inn Hotel. Not bad

We stay here when we use the eurotunnel. The close proximity to the tunnel is excellent. The beds are comfy, the room is clean, the shower is powerful, the breakfast is excellent, the staff are friendly, the price is good, there is nothing to dislike!! Dogs are welcome for an extra charge and allowed in the bar (but not the restaurant) we had a lovely couple of nice pints after a long drive. We had a very tasty salami pizza too. Prices are not silly. I cannot find anything to fault. My expectations were exceeded this visit by the superb christmas decor. I highly recommend this hotel and we'll continue to use in the future!
