Well furnished clean rooms. Very helpful & friendly staff. Hotel is well located to the town centre and beach. Beds were very comfortable and the shower / bathroom was very well kept & stocked up.

Hotel was going under a major renovation so that there was a lot of noise and rolls of carpet to negotiate. Exterior was covered in scaffold and car park at the rear needs a good tidy up.

The hotel was in very good position, the staff also was very kind and nice to me and the town is very beautiful. I booked at first a single room which i had to change it as the room was small and with a small window situated to high that I couldn't even open it. The double room was nice with a wonderful view on the sea, the room was clean except the floor that was not hoovered and there was no remote control for tv, which I asked the staff but they couldn't find it. For the rest, I spent very good and nice 2 days there. Thank you.

I loved this hotel. My small family booked into this hotel as we liked the close location to the town and shops. This was ideal! The view from the hotel was impeccable! Dawn and dusk sea views from the bedroom windows were magical, and will always remind ourselves of how beautiful this coastline is. The coastal path down to the children's playground and beach was inspiring to say the least. The caves, pathways and beautiful plants and trees made it so special. I can definitely see why the Victorian's loved this specific location. Highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to return in summer!

A great location with good ocean views. Although the bed was a little lumpy, the fresh, clean sheets made up for it. The hotel is typical for its age. Although it's a little run down, it's still comfortable and clean. We managed to find a spot in the carpark over the weekend, but it was full by the end of the day. Monday was fine, with plenty of spots available. Discovering we had no hot water when we arrived, I mentioned it to the front desk and it was sorted quickly. They were nice and hot. Being an older hotel, the walls are a bit thin, making for a restless night if you're a light sleeper. The shower is over the bathtub and is high to step into, especially if you have short legs.

I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. The location was excellent, and the building itself very attractive inside with old architectural design, which made the experience even more special. The room was comfortable, with a very cozy bed that ensured a good night’s sleep. staff were extremely friendly and polite, always ready to help with a smile. Breakfast was offering a wide variety of options to suit different tastes. For what we paid, it was absolutely worth it we are really happy with my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

This property is an older property right on the sea front and in the town close to shops , the staff were very friendly and the price was really good . I did read a lot of comments about the hotel that were negative, but this hotel is the right price for the offer . Want better and there are other hotels that charge more to keep you happy . For us , the room was large , warmed up quickly and it was comfortable and the location was really great. I recommend this hotel to people on a tight budget who do not expect a five star hotel for what they are paying. We will use it again .
