During our two-day stay at the hotel in Hythe, UK, we had an experience that exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed. The hotel’s facilities are exceptional, combining comfort and modernity. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-decorated, creating a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. The common areas, including the lounge and restaurant, offer an inviting ambiance and high-quality services. The pool and sauna are excellent additions, providing great options for relaxation and leisure. We would like to particularly mention Shane, who works at the reception. Despite having been at the hotel for just a week, Shane demonstrated a remarkable level of attentiveness and professionalism. He was courteous, helpful, and always available to ensure our stay was as pleasant as possible. Shane’s dedication significantly contributed to the quality of our experience at the hotel. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to Hythe. In addition to the excellent facilities, the commitment of the staff, particularly Shane, ensures a memorable stay. We especially thank Shane for his contribution to making our visit so enjoyable.

We have stayed here many times over the years and always enjoyed it. The rooms are comfortable, in a good location and reasonably priced. We were upgraded to a sea view room which was nice. Most of the hotel is very glamorous.

Check in isn't until 4pm and no guarantee until 5. But check out is 11am. The bar area is not fitting for the rest of the hotel. It is brightly lit of an evening, badly decorated (mismatched style) and has the TV on the wall playing soaps. Not what I wanted for my wedding anniversary. It had scrapes along the back wall. I assume where a sofa was previously. It needs a lick of (different) paint and a dimmer switch! The champagne bar is beautiful but wasn't open. Luckily we found the Waterfront bar and restaurant down the road which had a jazz singer on.

This is a wonderful building in an ideal location with well kept grounds. It continues to be the best in the area.

This hotel has for some time been a story of two halves. On the one hand it had the potential to be a 5 star luxury hotel. It's a fantastic building with a superb ballroom and dining rooms. But there are frustrating details that stop it reaching that high standard. Paint chips and scrapes on the walls and paintwork in public places. Greasy finger marks on the lift doors that were never cleaned during our stay. Air conditioning that didn't quite reach a cooling temperature. We found the bed and pillows too soft (granted that's a personal preference). We have stayed on a number of occasions over the years and each time there are improvements. We look forward to it becoming what it purports to be.

Location was excellent. Hotel room was quiet. Lovely view over the bay. Surrounding area most attractive. Breakfast was satisfactory. Plenty of hotel parking spaces.

I didn't like the 4 pm check in. Even 3 pm would be an improvement. The hotel grounds weren't particularly cared for. Lots of large weeds in the flower beds, hedges needed a trim. The hotel steps leading to the garden area were not swept in the 4 days we were there. ie the dirt on day 1 was still there on day 2. And lastly, I would recommend place mats or a small vase of flowers on the uninviting breakfast tables. They looked bare, basic, and simply functional. A hotel of this standard could add a small touch of flair there.

I loved the location on beach front but it was generally such a well kept friendly vibe here. I didn’t want somewhere where it was party central. I wanted to go somewhere with more of a mature vibe but just completely chilled. The hotel itself was perfect hotels I have been too and trust me it really is on the top of my list. The staff were so friendly even after work 12 hour shifts but this is definitely going to be my go to place going forward. The town centre was on a quaint high street put there are enough restaurants around for everyone’s choice. I absolutely loved this place and would definitely be returning.

We had a fantastic stay at the Hythe Imperial Hotel. We booked a Deluxe Double room but were thrilled to be upgraded to a suite on arrival, a lovely surprise. The suite offered incredible sea views and views of the golf course from the bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean and looked newly fitted, the bathroom was huge, featuring both a bath and a separate shower, with high-end fittings and furnishings throughout. Dinner in the dining room was excellent too, with beautifully prepared and presented food, the staff were attentive, friendly and professional. While the dining room doesn’t have sea views, it’s still a spacious and nicely decorated setting. Breakfast was equally impressive, with a well-stocked buffet and staff on hand if needed. The spa is beautiful and very relaxing. It’s clearly popular, so it can get a bit crowded at peak times, and while some areas are a little tired from use, it’s still a great facility to have on-site. Check-in and check-out were seamless, with pleasant, helpful staff. There’s ample parking, a lovely bar area with friendly staff, and a beautiful outdoor seating area that's perfect for relaxing. One of the highlights we missed out on was the upstairs Champagne Bar, which has amazing sea views and lots of seating and balcony space but unfortunately, it’s only open on weekends, so we didn’t get to experience it. Overall, a truly amazing place – elegant, well-kept, and in a stunning location. Highly recommended!

The rooms we had were exceptional with the most comfortable beds for a good nights rest ,the location is perfect, the leisure facilities are good, but mostly it's the wonderful team you have there that gives this hotel the edge over others. We cannot thank you enough for another wonderful stay and we will be back again for a 3rd visit!

The only observation is some of the columns in the pool area need repainting at the bottom - this is just a small thing that in no way detracted from the amazing stay we had. It is hard to find anything in this category and you can rarely say that about a hotel.

A lovely Hotel on the beachfront. Our room was very nice and the bed was really comfortable. Enjoyed the air conditioning as it was the hottest day of the year. Beautiful hotel lobby and bar. Staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the walk along the front to the Waterfront restaurant the food was impressive, delicious and fresh.

The pool wasn’t as big as thought. It was busy with splashing kids, so we didn’t use it. When I asked if we could sit on a lounger outside in our swim stuff there wasn’t anywhere to do so. So we sat on the bench overlooking the sea which was nice but we wanted to stretch out.

Local to the channel tunnel . Good amenities, good restaurant in the building . Extremely comfortable beds . Good and plentiful parking.

Well I stood in a queue for check in , admittedly half an hour early , everyone in front of me checked in and happily went off to their rooms , me ? No , room not ready , come back in half an hour . A little annoying g but all was forgiven when after checking in half an hour later we were given , without fanfare ,a lovely corner room , huge , end of corridor , so super quiet room. If the management like to contact me I will give details of niggles requiring attention.

We had a warm greeting on arrival. The overall decor and feel was pleasing. We stayed in a suit which was clean and fresh, an excellent size and well fitted with a large bed, sofa, desk, wardrobe and tv. In the bathroom, there was a bath and a large walk-in shower. As a nice touch, bath robes and slippers were provided and complimentary items in the fridge. I was unable to work out how to use the pug in the sink, I reported it to reception, and by the time I had got to my room, there was a maintenance man who was able to help me. Excellent service. The breakfast the next day was to a high standard, and the items were regularly topped up or changed for fresh whilst we were there. We did not eat an even meal in the restaurant but chose to have room service, which was prompt, so our food had not gone cold. We used the spa, the pool water was warm, and the hot tub was very warm, just what we needed as was the sauna. Towels were provided, and so was a locker padlock and bags for wet swimming clothes. However, the spin dryer did an excellent job, virtually drying them completely.

There are only two issues for us. Firstly, the bath robes provided were too small for our bodies. However, I'm sure if I had highlighted this at the time, they would have found a solution based on the good experience we had already had. Secondly, I think some of the food prices were higher than I have paid elsewhere for similar. That said, the food we did eat was lovely.
