I recently had the pleasure of staying at Beach Escapes in Hythe, specifically in the Gulls Rest, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The bedroom was a lovely size, providing ample space for my family. The sofa bed for the children was perfect and made settling in a breeze. There was even enough room for a travel cot, which was a huge plus. The location of the property is fantastic; it’s easy to access and close to all the local attractions. I also appreciated the thoughtful extra touches, like the milk in the fridge, biscuits, crisps, tea bags, and coffee. It made us feel right at home upon arrival. Overall, I would highly recommend Beach Escapes, and I would love to stay again in the future!

Very luxurious with everything you need. You can tell it’s a real labour of love that has gone into this property and it’s a gorgeous place to stay. Very comfortable and clean and the views are spectacular.

It’s self check in which is great but communication if there are any questions was a bit hit and miss. For example, we are travelling with a young baby so asked lots of questions about whether there was a high chair, cot etc. we never got answers on this so bought our own but found some in cupboards onsite. This is only very minor though.

Excellent pre-stay contact from owners, superb welcome information pack. Location is outstanding. Apartments were spotless and wanted for nothing - everything was so well considered for the traveller. As a former Visit England inspector, my standards are high but this experience was simply faultless. The thoughtful and generous touches provided on arrival made a wonderful first impression and got Christmas off to a magical start for the whole family, who can't wait to return! Thank you!

Location was excellent - right on the promenade. Superb seating facilities in front garden, excellent parking and directions. Extremely well furnished to very high standard.

Hard to find any fault - a minor one - we were not sure about the welcome package - it did not include what was said in the literature, however, as we weren't expecting one - no problems. If we wanted for something we could easily use the honesty stock.

Fabulous location directly on the beach, exactly as stated. The welcome hamper was a nice surprise as we only stayed 2 nights. It was all very well organised and comfortable to guarantee a relaxed stay. The balcony was great to watch the world go by with a glass of wine listening to the waves. We really enjoyed our time there and would return again.

The toilet door would benefit from opening inwards to prevent the bedroom and bathroom doors knocking together - I trapped my finger between the handles, not a serious injury but thought I should let you know as everything else was perfect.

I spent one night in the garden view apartment with my partner and it exceeded our expectations. Beautiful space, tastefully decorated with lots of nice touches. Very clean, comfortable bed and right on the beach. We met Sophie, the owner, she was very accommodating and helpful. Would definitely come back and recommend to couples looking for a quiet break in a beautiful setting.

Everything was perfect

The location was wonderful, and the size of the flat was perfect for our little family. It was lovely to find milk in the fridge and some little treats to enjoy with a cuppa on arrival. The welcome guide was really well put together, full of useful information and itinerary suggestions. We were lucky with the weather and got to enjoy the generously sized terrace and its gorgeous view.

We've had a lovely stay at short notice. The flat was great and having the beach right outside the door was fantastic. Our son was so excited about this. We loved all the little details and it was lovely having some essentials waiting for us when we arrived. After an 8-hour trip in the car, I really appreciated not having to pop to the supermarket to get breakfast sorted the next morning. The owners were really thoughtful. Thank you for contacting us beforehand to ask about the bedding needed and offering to have it ready.

We hope we didn't bother the other guests too much with our early morning starts. Six-year-olds rarely do lie-ins. :)

Stayed in Gull's Rest..Superb high spec accomodation right on the sea front... even a complementary welcome pack and a great selection of food and drink with an honesty box in the lobby... they've just thought of everything.. didn't hear any of the other guests during our stay ... totally silent... apart from the waves... What else can I say .. pure perfection .. watching the sun rise over the sea from your bed every morning ... both felt totally relaxed upon departure.. so will be rebooking in the future... thankyou for a perfect stay.

Only minor niggle was the key coded accessed door system.. while holding bags and suitcases... could be fiddly.. and frustrating.. but as i say... its a minor thing.

Me and my partner stayed in the admirals deck room for a week and we enjoyed every moment of our stay! We felt so comfortable and felt at home and there was so much attention to detail in the room we stayed in. Beautiful view from the balcony and they supplied us with mostly everything we needed in the welcome hamper + other things such as beach towels, etc. Needless to say we were very sad to be leaving but will 100% be returning!
