We had a 5 night stay Monday to Friday and the hotel is beautiful, set in a lovely quiet location about 1 mile out of Tenby, exceptionally clean, with fabulous staff and looked after by Chloe on reception, along with the fantastic breakfast team Mick (female), Alexandra and Tracee, for whom nothing was ever to much trouble and are a true credit to the whole inner sanctum and the smooth running of the hotel, the breakfast choice was mind blowing and everything cooked to perfection. We stayed in room 8, which is lovely, comfy super-king size bed, walk in wardrobe and walk in rainfall shower. Overall it was just the Tonic required. Yes we would stay again.

Quiet location, a short walk from Tenby. Lovely garden, good bar & conservatory area. Good breakfast, freshly cooked and great selection. Breakfast staff couldn’t have been more helpful and engaging. Comfortable bed and great shower.

Upholstery and carpet in the room we stayed in could do with replacing. Some staining and carpet looked dirty. Slight lack of attention to detail from reception staff - booked two rooms, one for myself and husband and another for our adult daughter. Our daughter was shown to the much larger room with very large bed while we were shown to the smaller room with double bed but a minor point.

In hindsight we should have looked at a room with a larger bed if there was one available. There was nothing wrong with the bed but it was smaller than what we’re are used to. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice and staff were all very friendly and welcoming.

The headroom in our shower was tight. I am 5’ 11 and the head of the shower was as high it could go. The shower was above the bath rather than a cubicle and the height of the room itself was the restriction. Bar was only open until around 9pm during our stay which may be an issue for some. Staying in the lounge area to finish drinks wasn’t an issue.

A beautiful building, very tastefully decorated. Lounge areas and conservatory were very relaxing with lively views over the garden. Breakfast room was light and airy. Staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent and very well presented. Great selection, but maybe some meats and cheeses could be added to the selection on offer.

Road quite dangerous to walk along with no pavement along a fairly busy road. Was a shame that the bar closed at 9pm and there was no option for an evening meal. The shower was incredibly powerful which was great, but had to be held in place because it wouldn’t stay in position. However, these were minor issues and we had a lovely stay.

Staff really friendly and helpful. Breakfast really nice. Location not suitable for the less mobile being up a steep climb from the town but would be fine for most. With regards to the surrounding area, location was perfect. The main downside for us was the noise in the room with the heating vent just below the bedroom window, which was running constantly throughout which prevented a good night's sleep. Other than that a really pleasant place to stay. As it's just a b&b, I would recommend eating next door at the Heywood spa in the evening, excellent menu.

What a glorious stay we had! After a very last minute booking and a 3 minute drive from Tenby, Emily showed us our room and was so attentive! She made sure we were happy and had everything we needed before leaving us to it. The room was just perfect - clean, spacious & just fab for a nights stay (had an iron & safe if needed). Plenty of bedding too. The complementary welsh cakes in the room were a lovely touch, alongside the tea/coffee/still & sparkling water, and the lovely welsh mini toiletries! The breakfast was absolutely delicious! Mick was so attentive and lovely, checking in that we had all we needed throughout- a really lovely character. Large portion sizes of the cooked breakfast (or lots of choice if you didn’t fancy this!) and lots to choose from cereal/fresh fruit/yogurt/granola wise- nothing else to say! The bucks fizz was a lovely touch even if neither of us fancied it. We will 100% be back and recommend this place to our family and friends. What a lovely little find!

Location of hotel, was perfect for us. A nice 20 minute walk into Tenby centre. Hotel staff & building extremely welcoming and very luxurious. It smelt lovely when you walked in. Gardens were beautiful, lounge area very relaxing, library area very inviting with an array of leaflets of places to visit. The choice of breakfasts was fantastic. You could stay a week and have something different every day. The complimentary Buck’s Fizz every morning was delightful. All staff were very helpful & knowledgeable of the area and so polite. We were made to feel very special. Will definitely be returning again.

The only one little thing I can think of is I didn’t like the pepper that was put in my mushrooms & scrambled eggs at one of my breakfasts.

From the minute we arrived and were met with an easily available parking space and a very friendly welcome we felt at home. Our room was very clean and spacious and communication with the staff was great. They gave us a quick tour of the building and facilities all of which were nice ie the bar, the breakfast room, the garden and conservatory. Nothing was too much trouble for this lovely team of people who excelled in relaxing but attentive breakfast service to helping to book taxis into Tenby town, and even coming out of a busy kitchen to wish my partner a happy birthday with a cheery song and a candle in a super chocolatey muffin. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice both on the hot menu and on the continental buffet. The option of a complimentary Bucks Fizz is a super touch for special occassions and one is positivly encouraged to take extra time over more hot drinks and pastries, resulting in a most relaxed and welcome feel to your stay. Every staff member in this exceptional team that we met was lovely but a special shout out to Chloe who is an absolute joy and so sweet and chatty and kind. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thanks everyone.

It wasnt a case of anything we didnt like, more a tiny case of a cracked floor tile in the bathroom of room 22 which rocked and trapped bare feet. But i have no doubt that the team will be straight on to fixing this as soon as is humanly possible. The double bed was as it became apparent two single beds strapped together. Unfortunately one was higher than the other so it was like rolling either uphill or downhill which we laughed about. But if i had any grumble it would be that this is altered for other guests. Its a bit segregating for a couple on holiday.

Very friendly staff. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Very quiet. Lovely breakfast, cold and hot, and a nice glass of bucks fizz. Ample parking.

Location is good, but if you do want to go into town, after dark, I would suggest a taxi, which the receptionist was very happy to call for, and was only £5. Even though it is only a mile, the road is quite narrow in parts, with a bit of a hill, down, and up, into town. Its obviously dark so early at this time of year and the weather very unreliable!!! We also couldn't find a hairdryer in the room. We had one, but some may not.

The staff were particularly polite and friendly, the public rooms were a pleasure to be in and breakfast was just amazing, beautifully presented and delicous.

Our room was far too small for 2 people - although advertised as a small double room it was really only suitable for 1 person. There was very little space for our cases and the bedside table was the storage for the kettle and drink making items. Overall, the room was tired and not suitable for a 4 night stay.
