Beautiful hotel, with fanstastic sea views from room. It is situated in the town of Tenby, with plenty of restaurants and bars around. Our room was very spacious and very clean. There is a lovely little bar within the hotel that is reasonably priced for drinks but doesn't serve food. However, due to the location and with a variety of places to choose from to eat, this didn't matter. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere. Will 100% stay here again.

The bed and pillows were not the comfiest but ok for a weekend.

Although the hotel is under renovation and considering its only be under new management since may you can see that they are trying hard to make it work, There are a lot of changes taking place, and as it's a grade 2 listed building, they have to abide by strict building codes I must say that even with this going on, the room we stayed in was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We were notified of the renovation going on before our stay, but as the hotel is in a prime location right on the sea front and the price was brilliant, we continued with our booking and didn't regret it, the staff couldn't do enough for you they cared about you stay with them and made sure that all your needs were meet, even though they were working under difficult circumstances. we had a full cooked breakfast every morning, which was included in the price, and it was lovely. The dining room was clean and cared for Yes, this hotel is in need of TLC, which, under this new management it is finally getting and seeing the photos of the new plans it's going to be a stunning which will make this hotel the one to go to, if you can look at the potential of this beautiful building and see what they are trying to achieve rather than be negative as some have been then maybe you could wish them all the best in what they are trying to achieve The stage door bar is brilliant. What a breath of fresh memorabilia around the walls depicting all the films you can think of are great again the staff are friendly and helpful and work hard there a juke box so there's music if you want it and the was live music on the Saturday night which was fab, it's what We call a proper pub where you can just have a drink and a laugh and the staff were very happy to see this happen 😀 Thank you to all the staff for all their hard work in making our stay memorable 💜 ❤️ 💙

To be fair, there wasn't anything really that we didn't like, yes, as I've said the building is under renovation but our experience wasn't a negative one, the view from the hotel is fab and the staff a great I can't give a bad review for people who work hard to achieve something

All staff friendly and more than helpfull. Room was clean.and bed comfortable.Plenty of hot water for shower with towels provided. Decent breakfast.Option of a sea view room if required.Price was cheapest in Tenby and probably Pembrokshire. Saved £70 on one night compared to nearby premier inn price with breakfast. Will definitely book this hotel again.

Nothing really.Had a room on 4th floor and the stairs were a slight problem for the partner but you could request a room on the lower floors. I was only staying the one night so did not bother to request this option including the sea view room option.The hotel is currently undergoing building work but apart from the scaffolding it has no impact on the guests.

This hotel is awesome With all the traditional features, an authentic old fashioned pub and stunning views The staff were more than friendly, helpful and kind. Also it's situated in central Tenby so you are right in the midst of wherever you'd fancy going

....well I am a bit of a pillow snob, so I think my opinion on pillows simply belong with what I think is comfortable, so I mean for a lovely 3 days stay with just a bit of a comfy pillow issue... I do think the issue isn't with the hotel, but with me 😀🤔🤷‍♀️😂😉

The room was impeccably clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The heating and hot water in the shower worked perfectly. The location was perfect as well, right in the town center. The breakfast was decent, and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful!

There is no elevator, and the stairs can be a bit tricky to carry suitcases up and down. I didn’t travel with a lot, so I didn’t mind. But if you’re coming with a lot of luggage, be mindful that you could have to carry it up 4 flights of stairs (depending on where your room is).

Brilliant location. Central Tenby and literally 30 second walk into town. Room was very spacious and the view from the room was incredible. Comfortable large bed, big bath and television in room. Continental breakfast was lovely. Small cooked breakfast also tasty. Staff were very friendly and were able to help us when needed.

There was some cob webs on the interior of the bay window. Although bath was big, there was black mould around the edges which some may find off putting. There was 2 glass pannels in the ceiling which looked like old lights but due to the storm they were constantly banging and would have eventually shattered. I raised the concern with staff and they were able to remove them which resolved the problem immediately. Cooked breakfast very basic and small.

The hotel has some bad reviews and if I hadn’t already paid I would have cancelled. However, despite the tired exterior and basic reception area I was pleasantly surprised with the room. The bedding was immaculate and we enjoyed a very peaceful, comfortable nights sleep. The bathroom was scrubbed clean and clean fluffy white towels were supplied. As the rooms were cheap we didn’t expect much from the breakfast but to be fair the small full English was cooked fresh and really nice. In addition the bar at the hotel that had a happy hour was lively and friendly and even though it was below our rooms you could not hear any noise from our room. Overall budget hotel that could do with some TLC but clean, comfortable and a bargain!!

Glad I booked Room with a view . Hotel is facing north Beach and it's a 5 mins walk into the town centre Room was a very good size, we could manage to keep a few cycles in the room as we did the Carten Charity cycle ride .the bed was comfortable Staff were very helpful and pleasant. lovely Breakfast that was included in the Price ,cooked breakfast one of each item there wasn't a choice given of extras , but help yourself to toast cereal drinks etc For. Few nights stay we said we would go again because of the value for money they also accommodated to keep bikes downstairs if you wished .

It's an old building it's very beautiful . little Disappointed there was no lift, (but we knew I had checked before hand about that) could have done with one as we were on the 3rd floor 60 steps up carrying the bikes, Inside is quite dated and could do with a lick off paint outside .Nothing Major really .

This hotel was perfect for what we needed, excellent location, clean, welcoming, yes its a little old fashioned, but we loved it anyway. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable, duvets and pillows the best have slept on/under and all for a bargain price too. The bar downstairs was welcoming,warm, and a great place to meet everyone. This was a great cheap and cheerful night away for our three children and their partners. We had a fun night in Tenby, and a lovely stay at the Royal Lion Hotel. We didn't all make breakfast, and this had mixed reviews but for the price it was fine. Reception staff were fantastic. We parked by Tenby train station which was under £2 for 24 hours and it was a 5 minute walk to the hotel from there. We would definitely return at the price we paid.

We had a view of a grass covered wall from our window, we wished we had booked a sea view. The water pressure in the shower was poor but we were on the 4th floor, so we understood why this was a problem. Would have liked more choice for coffee at breakfast, not just instant.

The view from our room was probably the best ever view, to wake up and actually see the whole beach was incredible, people should be paying top money for this view it's sooo much more than a sea view 5 star plus⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, location is fantastic too and this also warrant s being ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ star location is superb, breakfast was delicious can't fault the cleanliness of room bed comfy bathroom immaculate.

We were on the third floor no lift was a bit disappointing to say the least,but I did get used to this after few days and felt I was ok in the end with this as I ate far to much 😁 the stairs walk had 3 landing window which need to be replaced and made a feature as the view is stunning from that side please put plain glass and remove those horrendous curtains so distasteful covering something up makes for bad impression, yea the place needs money spent on it but you're not there to criticise the place it's only a room after all.
