Arrived after not staying here for many years and the room renovations are absolutely beautiful. The carpet smells new still, even though I believe these rooms were completed in April May time. The views are amazing from these superior rooms. The bay windows mean you can see all the way up north beach and all the way around to the harbor and st Catherines island. Close to local restaurants and amenities, parking nearby behind poundland at a cost of 10 pounds per 24 hours. There is a multi storey carpark also at the other end of the wall. These rooms are so comfortable and cosy we didn't want to leave. The bed was super comfortable and the new bathroom renovations are top class. Contender for best hotel rooms in tenby 🙂

Nothing really big but I wish the curtains were blackout. I know many won't be bothered by this but whenever I book to stay away I like to have a lay in. On the second trip I brought my eye mask and the bright morning didn't bother me. Otherwise no issues.

The hotel is situated perfectly for the local town and beach. A 3 minute walk to Tesco / all the local restaurants and bars. The view from the superior rooms across from North Beach on the left, to the harbor on the right and the sea looking all the way across to Rhossili bay and worms head (if you have binoculars). Forget the tv, there's always something to be seen outside these windows so luckily there are two very comfortable seats positioned to make the most of the best view in tenby! These rooms have had a luxury makeover since April 2025 and the whole hotel is still having room upgrades but doing these rooms first was a genius move. We have never had to ask the staff much but whenever we have checked in, the staff have been helpful with any questions we have had. The beds are comfortable and there are Internet enabled tvs so you can watch your shows or a movie at night should you wish. The bathrooms have a nice black and white theme with brand new bathroom suites and an overhead shower rain head option as well as the usual shower head. The rooms have a rotating fan, hair dryer and dressing table. I haven't asked for an iron but I'm sure you could get one from reception.

Have had no issues on the last two visits. I have another booking coming up also.

The room was excellent and looked to be recently renovated. It was on the 3rd floor with no elevator which wasn't a problem but would be if your mobility is poor and you had a lot of luggage. Hotel is under renovation and will be beautiful if all done to the same standard as our room. Excellent location with beautiful sea views from our room.

Hotel is still under renovation, so some areas are in poor condition. No elevator which could be a problem for some as we were on the third floor with luggage.

Spacious room with all the essentials provided. Very clean, with PAT-tested electricals and a working TV. Bathroom was nice, with good hot water. Breakfast was delicious, and the pub downstairs had a lovely ambience with great service and drinks. Overall, a really nice and cozy stay!

Only downsides were the lack of a lift, which made carrying luggage a bit tricky, and one mattress that was quite firm (though the smaller bed was soft, cozy, and very comfortable).

Beautiful hotel, with fanstastic sea views from room. It is situated in the town of Tenby, with plenty of restaurants and bars around. Our room was very spacious and very clean. There is a lovely little bar within the hotel that is reasonably priced for drinks but doesn't serve food. However, due to the location and with a variety of places to choose from to eat, this didn't matter. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere. Will 100% stay here again.

The bed and pillows were not the comfiest but ok for a weekend.

All staff friendly and more than helpfull. Room was clean.and bed comfortable.Plenty of hot water for shower with towels provided. Decent breakfast.Option of a sea view room if required.Price was cheapest in Tenby and probably Pembrokshire. Saved £70 on one night compared to nearby premier inn price with breakfast. Will definitely book this hotel again.

Nothing really.Had a room on 4th floor and the stairs were a slight problem for the partner but you could request a room on the lower floors. I was only staying the one night so did not bother to request this option including the sea view room option.The hotel is currently undergoing building work but apart from the scaffolding it has no impact on the guests.

Incredible views! This place deserves a higher rating that it has. The value for money given the location and views is incredible. The rooms were very spacious and bed comfortable!

The view was so incredible I wished there was a way to open the window wider to take it all in. Our booked had booked two rooms, one of them had a mixer in the bathroom's sink while the other didn't. It looks like they are actively renovating the place though so hopefully all rooms will get mixers soon!

Although the hotel is under renovation and considering its only be under new management since may you can see that they are trying hard to make it work, There are a lot of changes taking place, and as it's a grade 2 listed building, they have to abide by strict building codes I must say that even with this going on, the room we stayed in was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We were notified of the renovation going on before our stay, but as the hotel is in a prime location right on the sea front and the price was brilliant, we continued with our booking and didn't regret it, the staff couldn't do enough for you they cared about you stay with them and made sure that all your needs were meet, even though they were working under difficult circumstances. we had a full cooked breakfast every morning, which was included in the price, and it was lovely. The dining room was clean and cared for Yes, this hotel is in need of TLC, which, under this new management it is finally getting and seeing the photos of the new plans it's going to be a stunning which will make this hotel the one to go to, if you can look at the potential of this beautiful building and see what they are trying to achieve rather than be negative as some have been then maybe you could wish them all the best in what they are trying to achieve The stage door bar is brilliant. What a breath of fresh memorabilia around the walls depicting all the films you can think of are great again the staff are friendly and helpful and work hard there a juke box so there's music if you want it and the was live music on the Saturday night which was fab, it's what We call a proper pub where you can just have a drink and a laugh and the staff were very happy to see this happen 😀 Thank you to all the staff for all their hard work in making our stay memorable 💜 ❤️ 💙

To be fair, there wasn't anything really that we didn't like, yes, as I've said the building is under renovation but our experience wasn't a negative one, the view from the hotel is fab and the staff a great I can't give a bad review for people who work hard to achieve something

This hotel is awesome With all the traditional features, an authentic old fashioned pub and stunning views The staff were more than friendly, helpful and kind. Also it's situated in central Tenby so you are right in the midst of wherever you'd fancy going

....well I am a bit of a pillow snob, so I think my opinion on pillows simply belong with what I think is comfortable, so I mean for a lovely 3 days stay with just a bit of a comfy pillow issue... I do think the issue isn't with the hotel, but with me 😀🤔🤷‍♀️😂😉

The room was impeccably clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The heating and hot water in the shower worked perfectly. The location was perfect as well, right in the town center. The breakfast was decent, and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful!

There is no elevator, and the stairs can be a bit tricky to carry suitcases up and down. I didn’t travel with a lot, so I didn’t mind. But if you’re coming with a lot of luggage, be mindful that you could have to carry it up 4 flights of stairs (depending on where your room is).
