Basic, 1 bacon, 1 sausage (over cooked) dessert spoon of beans, fried bread quarter of a slice of bread.

The room. No chest of drawers to put your clothes in, ( had to leave them in the case) No bed side cabinet. Dried blood on the quilt cover and dirty towels, which the owner changed the full set and cover. Not replenishing the milk, or sugar, and had to wash the cups on my first morning.

Everything was fabulous, our room, the hotel, the breakfast was delicious all freshly cooked The location right by the beach, and 5 minutes from the town. We had a sea view and we couldn’t have hoped for anything better

The staff are really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent too and the location is just perfect.

I know they’re still refurbishing the place and so far so good. However our bathroom needs updating.

The day of arrival the weather was awful high winds and very heavy rain, We arrived from Saundersfoot at 1.15pm, I was unsure where was recommended for parking therefore I went to the Hotel to enquire, Received a lovely welcome from Gabriella we arrived from Saundersfoot at 12.30 she said that we were welcome to check in then, We were very grateful as the weather was so bad, Two dogs in tow, We were not only grateful for this but when I asked about parking Gabrielle said that as her husband Graham was away overnight we could use his parking space at the side of the hotel, I have spent many years travelling to various Holiday Destinations in the UK and overseas, I have never ever met a Host who was as friendly and thoughtful as Gabrielle, Thank you both. The room was perfect the stay was faultless xxx

Absolutely stunning location and the most spectacular views . Just breathtaking ! So convenient for the beach and town . Parking very close by . The rooms are beautiful and the beds very comfortable. Pillows are especially good . Plentiful supply of hot drinks to make and biscuits too , as well as bottled water . Graham is a fantastic host . He made us feel so welcome and at home and really made my 91 year old uncle feel very special and accommodating his breakfast request which was not on the menu was a very kind gesture . The breakfast offering was very inviting . There was a great selection of a wide variety of fresh fruit and cereals etc . The full English was of high quality , very tasty and well cooked and the coffee was fantastic! On the second day we had the delicious smoked salmon and perfectly scrambled eggs . All the staff we met were very polite and friendly and seemed genuinely happy to help . We had a very enjoyable stay and hope to visit again.

No negatives for us . Just what we were hoping for .

The room (17) was nice and comfortable. There was plenty of tea and coffee and milk.Good view of the sea. Excellent breakfast.

We had to find our way to the room through pitch dark corridors. For the first day and night, we hardly saw anyone, just the lady who served us breakfast. We were told the heating would come on in the evening; it didn't. But there was a plug-in radiator. The water was cold the first night. There was a balcony, but the window had bird poo across it. The room was not cleaned on the second day, which is always a disappointment.

The room was lovely, we had a town view but could also see the sea. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was amazing, a cold selection plus a cooked breakfast with plenty of choice. Tea/coffee, biscuits and water in the room regularly stocked up. Brilliant location, 2 minute walk into town, beach right outside the front of building. We took a coffee and sat on the benches every morning watching the sea. Very tranquil and peaceful. Parking round the corner, reasonable price. Graham the owner very friendly and helpful. Dog friendly. En-suite rooms. We will be coming back here

I liked everything

We used No 1 Esplanade for our wedding. The staff were exceptional, always checking in to make sure I was ok on my wedding day, even coming in to assist getting a wasp out because we had the window open whilst we were having our make up done. Breakfast was beautiful and the view from the room was perfect, our dogs were also allowed to stay in our room. We put them in the crate in the bathroom, which was very big. Thank you to the owners who made sure we had an amazing stay! Thank you! We'll be back on our one year wedding anniversary!

I arrived in the middle of a heavy rain storm and was so happy to arrive to a clean, warm and comfortable room with a comfortable bed. The view from my room was amazing. Located just steps away from the beach and restaurants, the location can't be beat. The owners were very kind and made the stay special. As a single woman traveling, I felt safe and well cared for. Another great feature was the close proximity of the train and bus stations to the property. I didn't need a car for my visit. No doubt, I will stay here when I visit Tenby again.

I can't think of anything I would change, it had everything and more than I expected.

The sea front location is ideal for heading in either direction along the coast. The hotel is in the process of being refurbished and what has been completed so far has been done very well (for example, the four-poster room looked amazing and the dining area is a welcoming, comfortable spot). Chatting to both owners you get a sense that this is a passion project and a labour of love for them and it would be good to revisit at a later date and see what further refurbishment progress has been made. Our room was adequate for a one-night stay and the freshly cooked to order breakfast was excellent.

There is no on-site parking due to the tight location on the sea front so it's a bit of a lottery trying to find a space to park in down the surrounding side streets without having to pay £10 to £12 for a 24-hour stay in a formal car park.
