It was perfect. Staff fabulous. Will be back! We had alot of fun great food and voila on location. I was on floor 5 comfortable nights sleep and met lots of lovely older people. Danced sang. It was great just by the town for shopping and the beach 1 min from hotel. I also found a terrace outside the front of the hotel in the cliff the gardens where i could pop out with a coffee or glass of wine and sit and admire the views and have a sneaky cigarette. Loved the place.

Very hot on the 5th floor but its summer so drew the curtains like anywhere.

Just a little problem with breakfast ! Make sure you find out what time they start and finish breakfast . Different times on Saturday and Sunday

The location of the hotel is wonderful, it’s right on the road above the beach. North beach carpark is a 5 minute walk. The room we had was quite big but they do all vary in sizes (we had 4 rooms booked and all were different from each other but all adequate), they’re basic but you get what you pay for! Most importantly the rooms and bathroom were very clean. The barman, Martin, was delightful and very fun!

The bed was quite hard but wasn’t intolerable, the toiletries (shampoo and shower gel) were poor quality but we were only staying one night so it didn’t matter too much. The worst thing was the bingo, we got back to the hotel after dinner to refresh and walked through the lobby, we weren’t loud by any means, but one of our group exclaimed that the ‘entertainment’ we had been told about at check-in was in fact bingo and not live music like we thought, we were then rudely ‘shh’ed, I’m not sure if this was by the man calling the numbers or the group of pensioners sat playing. Either way, we were shocked by the rudeness of it, considering we were paying guests much like everyone else.

Absolutely incredible view, great location, kind and helpful staff. A nice, older crowd who were full of life and danced to the music of the local artist who performed there. Clean showers, beds, etc. Incredible value for the accommodation.

My room was outside of the range of the WiFi connection. Fine for a night, but this would have bothered me had I stayed longer. I didn't bother to ask if this was something that could be remedied because I had fine 5G service.

I did not like a cleaner knocking the door at 9am asking when we were leaving. Checkout was between 7am-11am, check in from 4pm so not alot of time in the hotel when you are being knocked on at 9am.

Off season, so it was a very good price - but I would have been happy without discount. Room was clean and comfortable - it was very quiet, but there were only a few guests. Tea, coffee, biscuits provided. Morning fry up was impressive- my second day I just had a toasted bacon sandwich to leave room for the rest of the day. Supermarket across the road for supplies. Short walk into town.

Nothing- I’d be happy to stay here again.

The property was perfectly situated for our stay at the Long Course weekend. We had a beautiful bay window looking over North beach (Room 1). The room was modernised, spacious and comfortable with an en-suite bathroom. There were ample tea and coffee supplies and water in the fridge too. Breakfast was very tasty and filling for a very affordable addition to our room rate.

On floor 6 very steep steps after getting out of lift with a case can’t comment on food as didn’t have breakfast

Excellent position. Very friendly staff, room was clean and bright. tea making facilities with lovely comfy bed. I did have a frosted window with no view in room 14 but that didn’t bother me we were out all day anyway. Lovely and warm hotel. The breakfast was excellent value great choice and the staff were really friendly and efficient super quick service. Definitely would book again.

check-in was straight forward and fast, no issues. rooms were clean and comfortable with amazing views, great location right on the beach front. The guy serving drinks at the bar was very friendly and bubbly made ordering a drink fun. They also had bingo and some entertainment in the evening but we didnt stay for this as we went out.

some areas were a little dated and the restaurant was very crammed.
