The hotel is situated in a great location overlooking the sea. The room we had was large and beds were soooo comfortable. The breakfast was good, buffet style, hot and well stocked. We had a meal on one of the evenings and it really was delicious. Couldn't fault it at all. The staff were all excellent, friendly and chatty.

The carparking was in a public car park costing us £20 for our 2 night stay. The hotel does have a carpark but very small and carkeys need to be left at reception for them to move the cars about if you need to go out in yours. The car park was very near though so not a problem for carrying luggage The hotel itself is quite dated with rotting windows, old decor and very old carpet especially in bedroom.

The hotel is right opposite the beach, so has a fab view. Close to town too. It's also very close to the large carpark which is £10 for 24hrs. The room was clean, the water was hot and the bed was big and comfortable. Fluffy towels and good pillows. Plenty of tea coffee and milk was provided. The lounge, and reading area's are plentiful and there's plenty of seating. Nice bar room too. Restaurant food was very good and reasonably priced.

One one occasion we decided to eat in the restaurant rather than town. We couldn't see any information inside the hotel or in our room about opening times. We prefer not to book in advance as we would rather take the relaxed approach when we're away. On reaching the restaurant we were told the chefs had gone home as it was quiet. It was only 8.15, not late for dinner I didn't think. Apparently the restaurant closes at 8.30pm.

The Hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good. Downstairs has obviously been re furbed and decorated nicely. The location and view from the room was exceptional.

Unfortunately upstairs Corridors and rooms have been left out of re furb. This is a shame because it would be perfect if there was a little attention to detail and up dating in the bedrooms. The Bathroom is so dated with pink suite and white toilet seat that doesn't match. The shower was horrendous, basically a hair shower attached to the taps. All this said , the room and bed was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

Location was great, just a two minute walk from the car park. We stayed in the Red Room, the view was absolutely stunning - I don’t think we could have had a better one (from anywhere else in the entire street). We had breakfast on the last day. It was a basic breakfast with cooked food and cereal options, but very well laid out, very well cooked and the room (although a little dark) was very well presented and inviting. Our room was perfect, we’re not into ultra modern decor and it suited us beautifully. Although the bed and all the fixtures and fittings were beautiful, the general furniture was a little basic but had adequate storage for our stay. Cleanliness throughout was excellent from the front reception to our room and the decor was pleasant (especially the pretty fairy lights) and fitted with the age and style of the building. We felt at ease throughout our stay and we’re always greeted by a staff member if we passed them. Only one downside - ‘the crimson lady’ in our room - although it spooked me out a little, it kept my husband was quite amused as he looked out for her as we settled down for the night!!

Only one thing got us down really over our stay and that was the little white dog yapping on the beach for what seemed like an eternity at 5:45am!! But that’s completely out of your hands 😂

The lobby and bar areas are beautifully decorated. There’s a lovely relaxed feel to the main rooms. The only issue was the bedrooms are dated and we had carpet in the bathroom which you don’t usually see nowadays. Despite this, it didn’t really bother us as it was only used to sleep in as we was out all day. The show was fantastic!

It was a shame they made us leave way before our check in as they had a bus load coming in. They made us move our vehicle with no where else to park. If check out is at 11am then we should be able to keep our car parked there until then.

The location was absolutely lovely. We booked a sea view room and it didn't disappoint. Every morning, I sat and waited for the kids to wake up, opened the window, and sat and listened to the waves. It's such a quirky, unusual hotel. The kids were fascinated by the prospect of ghosts (sadly we didn't experience anything) and the staff were brilliant with both my children, and helpful, given I am a single parent on my own with them. The room might be considered dated by some, and while it might have needed a little tlc, the beds were comfortable, the bedding clean and enough space that the three of us weren't tripping over each other. We loved it so much that the kids have asked if they can come back. The food was exceptional. We were treated to complimentary homemade bread with charcoal butter. I could have had that all evening. The fish and chips were big enough to feed me and my seven year old gannet of a boy, and there was still a little bit left over. The portions were very generous. Loved the clocks.too. This hotel is located directly on the beach front, and you'd think it would be noisy with passers-by, but absolutely not. It was peaceful with the exception of the creaky floorboards, something I think adds to the character of the building. Every single member of staff was helpful and accommodating. The reason we booked this hotel is because I came across a post on social media, a chap (possibly Max?) showing a video of the view out to the beach, and it was stunning. It was the deciding factor for booking.

What's not to like. The only thing I would say is that the main double bed was dressed with a lot of cushions. When in use, the cushions needed to be put on one of the only two chairs, which took up a lot of room. I'd suggest ditching the cushions (they were pretty) and maybe using a throw that can be folded a lot smaller and placed on the back of the chair. With a family room, space use is really important, and the 5-6 cushions took up considerable space. Sounds minor and not a gripe, more a suggestion.

The view from our room was fantastic, the breakfast was very tasty and the staff were lovely

It states on booking website that it comes with car park - the receptionist told us this was false advertising as they only have a small car park at the back. Luckily we could park on the front as ir was out of season - the parking was the reason for picking this hotel. We were told that booking hadn’t been authorised to advertise a car park - I would not have been happy if I had to pay for parking on top of the hotel when it clearly states it’s included.

We were late checking in but the reception staff were brilliant. The room, although a little dated, was clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was a little small but the view more than made up for it. The breakfast was good & there was a good choice. The bar was my favourite, so welcoming & comfortable, the staff were very friendly & efficient, I could have stayed there all night ! Fantastic location on the seafront & close to the town centre, will definitely book this hotel again as we stay in Tenby quite regularly.

Nothing not to like really

The hotel is a very short walk from the centre. It's on the sea front with gorgeous views out to the front. There is a lovely little bar downstairs and the staff are all lovely.

We didn't have any hot water. I think we were in a newly renovated room and the shower didn't work. I was OK with a cold shower but my husband had to use the shower in a different room.. there were empty beer bottles, smashed glass ans screws/nails under our bed which was odd. I only noticed in the morning when I was packing our things I checked under the bed.
