A traditional harbour side pub with accommodation. On arrival the staff were very welcoming, showing us to our room which was accessed via an outside staircase up to the street behind then though a small alleyway. The accommodation has obviously been recently updated with a modern feel and up to date bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable and the view over the quayside below very relaxing. The Polruan to Fowey ferry is just a minutes walk away. Parking could be the only issue however we were lucky to bag a parking space on the quay and leave the car there for the duration of our stay(there are only about 7 or 8 spaces) at a cost of around £10 per day. Alternative parking is available right at the top of town. Overall The Luger provided a perfect bolt hole for our stay in Polruan and Fowey.
Nothing to criticise, no complaints.

Really nice location by the Quayside and we were able to park just by the property. Rooms although not large were very comfortable and overlooked the Quay. We had a very enjoyable lunch and dinner at the property. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating. It was also very nice to go to Fowey on the little foot passenger ferry which runs very frequently. We would definitely stay at the Lugger Inn again.
We enjoyed our stay so no complaints at all but although we had no problem parking by the property - it may be a problem in high season. There did appear to be a car park though before you drive down to the Quayside.

A lovely one night stay at The Lugger in Polruan. Beautifully appointed and clean room with view onto the harbour and boatyard. Compact accommodation but had everything we needed. The rooms are right above the pub and have their own entrance which is nice. Friendly and very helpful staff. There was an issue checking in which was dealt with professionally including offering us a complimentary drink while we waited. Nice atmosphere in pub and you can get drinks to take out in the evening sun on the quay (while Fowey is in the shade!)
The rooms are right above the main bar so if you like an early night this place is probably not for you.

The location was excellent - a short walk (about 50 steps) from the Polruan - Fowey passenger ferry. The rooms were clean and modern. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Tea and coffee making facilities were a great added bonus and we loved being able to hear the sea. The food and choice of drinks was excellent.
It wasn’t a massive issue for us but there is little soundproofing so can hear noise from the pub/hallway. It didn’t affect our stay.

Superb location, right by the water in the centre of this very characterful village. The fish and chips was really good, but make sure to book a table as the seating is very limited.
Breakfast didn't start until 9, and was not included. As we needed to make an early start, this was not really a problem as there's a lovely independent cafe very close by.

Fantastic location, great food, friendly staff very helpful, relaxed atmosphere very unspoilt location, nice welcome in the room with a large Gin and Tonic and ice, lovely touch. Can’t fault it second stay at the Lugger Inn very special place.
Nothing, the parking is limited but if you don’t mind a steep walk there is a car park at the top of the town.

Great position right on the quay with interesting walks in every direction and a foot passenger ferry across to Fowey every 15 minutes. It seemed like there was just one young woman doing all the work but she coped admirably.
Being a pub there’s almost always someone making a noise outside the window. It wasn’t enough to spoil my overall experience.

Our bedroom was right on the harbour slipway! We fell asleep listening to the waves and woke up listening to seagulls, was absolutely perfect! We spent the evening in the pub downstairs, and with a brilliant live singer, and a yummy meal, we were really content! The breakfast in the morning was superb, a full English, and it was lush!

Lovely spot on the water's edge, relaxing away-from-it-all feeling. The rooms are above a busy vibrant pub but it's really quiet, you would never know there was a bar beneath you. Lovely comfortable bed, and view right over the harbour. Evening meal in the pub was excellent, and brilliant service from the tireless barman who looked after everyone and everything constantly happy and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent place to stay.
Parking is limited right outside the Inn by the Quay, but otherwise the public car park is a steep climb uphill. Grab quayside parking as soon as a space becomes available!

The room was well decorated to a great standard. Very modern. Clean. Large bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced pint of local lager.
The milk is in a fridge in the hallway for all the rooms to share. You have to hope that another guest remembers to take their little jug or they may take the whole carton. I didn't find anyone to get a replacement loo roll, that would have been helpful. The parking is up the top of a hill and costs £12 for the weekend, this is not The Luggers fault but I feel this would help if it was stated on the advertisment as I saw other guests coming in asking about parking.
