Lovely, friendly staff. The room was excellent. Very high quality, very clean and everything needed for a pleasant stay. Breakfast was choice of nice fruit, fresh croissants, juices, proper coffee, not from a jar or packet, fresh cooked food to order. The restaurant at Haveners is very good. Fantastic service, plenty of choice on menu and all high quality. Location central to everything and lovely views over harbour. Great spot for walks, boat trips and 800m to nearest sandy, clean beach. Lots of cafes & restaurants & shops very closeby. South West Coast path closeby, which is good for walks and jogs.

Only minor issue is the rooms are near kitchen extractor fan, which is noisy until after 10pm. So you can't have windows open until fan has stopped. The room at top of property can get very warm. But a small fan is supplied and ear plugs.

Really lovely rooms above a pub. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. The bed was exceptionally comfortable with great quality sheets. The food was delicious and the kitchen were very helpful with my husband's dietary requirements.

To access the rooms you have to leave the pub and walk around the building and through a little passageway. As it was raining this wasn't ideal and we hadn't realised this when we booked. Also you need a key code to access the entrance to the rooms but there was no light to see the key pad and no shelter so we had to fumble around and find our phone torches in the pouring rain. Tiny issues in the scheme of things but could be improved.

Great position by the water with a tiny car park (2 hours only) and room to unload. Ferry outside to the other side of the estuary. Absolutely the friendliest and most helpful staff ever. We called to say we might be late arriving and they offered to keep the kitchen open another hour for us or to make sandwiches if later. Very comfortable room with all modern amenities. Good breakfast.

We really liked everything about the hotel. The only downside is that car parks are not near (as in so many old Cornish villages. Not a problem if you are fit but a 9 minute pleasant walk through the town to the car ferry car park or a 10 minute hike up a steep hill to the main one. ( I was told that in the summer a taxi does little else but ferry people up and down.!) Worth it for the view though!

The accommodation was amazing along with the food and the staff! Everyone was friendly and approachable & just provided us with an excellent customer experience! The beds, pillows and bathroom were superb too!

Only thing I didn’t like is the parking situation (not anyone’s fault and I am sure this suggestion is nothing new) - only suggestion would be to ask council if they could have the 5 spaces directly outside of hotel as would make sense. It wasn’t so much of an issue as we could park outside and drop cases first & then park the car!

we've stayed here before and strangely, had the same room location is great(right on the quay)but obviously being in town,there's a bit of noise late at night but it soon quiets down. rooms are beautifully furnished and bed super comfy. loevly elemis.products and fluffy robes provided. staff are friendly and efficient. breakfasts are great (I had full veggie,my partner had full.english) eaten in a lovely conservatory overlooking the River.

the Church Bell ringing hourly through the night but I mostly slept thru it and ofcourse we knew this in advance but wanted to be in the centre of things so it really wasn't a problem (it's all part of the charm of fowey).ear plugs are provided if u want them.

Fabulous location with our room overlooking the estuary, in the centre hub of Fowey. Beautiful clean room, generously topped up daily with tea, coffee, biscuits and mineral water. Robes on arrival with an Elemis relaxing pillow spray and a pair of ear buds (much needed as it can be very noisy outside (in the evening people and the seagulls in the morning). As guests staying there, we felt we were given priority within the restaurant and bar, which was very nice indeed.

The main car park, where there are lots of spaces, is a steep hill walk taking approx. 10 minutes.

Beautifully appointed with the comfiest beds. The staff were wonderful, it’s rare to get such a great level of customer service these days but Haveners staff were amazing. The apartment was out of this world with the most stunning views. A great breakfast with loads of choice even for a vegan. Had a lovely evening meal there too. I have to say I didn’t want to leave at the end of our stay. Will certainly stay again if we head back to Fowey.

Staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Superb breakfast. Brilliant location.

There was a problem with locking our door - difficulty with staff member locking/unlocking door from the start of our stay. We couldn’t lock it ourselves from inside or out, and had to leave it unlocked. A staff member kindly attended to it with WD40, and also offered us the use of the apartment instead. As the problem was overcome we opted to stay in our room as it was late in the evening by this time.

We had a wonderful time staying here. The apartments are beautiful, well-designed, and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The view is absolutely stunning! Overall, it’s a fantastic place in a gorgeous town with breathtaking scenery. We would happily stay here again!

The only minor downside is that the bedrooms face the side where the pub entrance is, so it can be a bit noisy at times. Also, the cleaning could be slightly improved.

From a lovely welcome, showing me to my room, which was beautifully decorated in nautical theme, exceptional bathroom, shower amazing! - didn’t realise fan was there u til I saw in wardrobe which was definitely needed! Another wonderful welcome from Joanne? Head housekeeper for breakfast next day which was 5 star! Will definitely return, there is no better location And service
