Had a lovely 7 days in looe. Sawyers b&b made our stay perfect & that was due to lovely friendly staff especially Tracey the owner. The location was perfect for us fantastic sea views, short walk down into town (could be problem for people with walking difficulties).Lovely accommodation equipped with everything you would need spotless clean. Quiet location (had the best sleep which I usually struggle with when away). The cooked breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice cooked by the wonderful Tracey & plenty of it which sets you up for the day. Should you need lunch (which we didn't) there is lovely hotel next door which serves food to the public also short walk in other direction a cafe, & cafe bar serving food. We enjoyed looe so much we've booked again for next year & of course stopping at sawyers b&b as we loved it so much it made our holiday the perfect get away & can't wait to go back.

Fabulous location, nice big room with terrific shower room (really powerful) Everything we needed. Tracy the owner was lovely and did a great breakfast. Parking right outside our room, sea view, and the location on the seafront was perfect just a short walk to a bar and restaurant and a smashing beach kiosk just up the road. A bit of a walk down the road to the West side of Looe, and a longer walk round to the main town in East Looe with some nice places to eat.

Elderly or infirm might find the walk down to the town too onerous, but there are plenty of taxis. Most of the walk is on level ground though.

room was clean and fresh with an amazing view and air con, shower was big and powerful. The view from the room was just amazing over looking the sea as the the sun rose was magical. Free parking right outside the door of your room. Breakfast was really tasty freshly cooked with plenty of choice. Tracey is a really lovely host.

Only gripe was the light from the bathroom lit up the room when someone went to use the toilet during the night, would like to see a small blind or some black out material over th glass pane.

It was my wifes' birthday weekend treat and really wanted somewhere that wasn't going to break the bank on a per night basis but still gave us reassurance on cleanliness and comfort. I have to say the Tracy and her running of Sawyers was exemplary in Customer Service. We arrived around 5.30 pm and it was already dark and there was misty rain in the air but Tracey met us with a warm smile and warmer welcome. She gave us the tour of the room which was a quite spacious ground floor room that had a stunning view across the sea and had a good sized bathroom. Generous amounts of tea/coffee were available and towels were fluffy and fresh. Tracy had thoughtfully turned on the heating before our arrival so the room was nice and toasty. Once settled and un packed we asked where we could get a bite to eat as the food availability at Sawyers is breakfast only. Tracy suggested the hotel next door but when we turned up although the Bistro was empty there was a large office party occurring and we were told that the wait for food would probably in excess of an hour. We decided not to wait so took the 10 minute walk into Looe which proved a success as we found a lovely Chinese restaurant and had a decent dinner. When we actually went to bed we found the one and only niggle of the whole stay - the duvet smelled musty, but tired as we were we just flaked out. We had booked breakfast for 8.30 but as I wanted to talk to Tracey about the smell of the duvet we went in a little earlier to have a chat. Fair to say Tracey was mortified and immediately set about getting it sorted. In the mean time both my wife and I ordered breakfast which for me was sausage, beans, toast and fried bread and coffee- my wife had full English with tea - it was very yummy and big enough to set us both up for the day ahead. NOTE : Tracey managed to get my wifes flowers for me as a surprise on the morning of her birthday - what a star !!!

Tracey dealt with the only niggle regarding the duvet with professionalism and good humour. There was nothing else that would come close to being a problem.

Room was spacious, as was the shower room, not all cramped up like some B & Bs. The owner was so friendly it was like we had known each other for some time, although we did live in that area for a few years and became nearly locals, we were able to relate to quite a few people that we knew. . the whole set up is so different to how it was when we lived there, and the current owner has made a very good job of making it like home from home.

Greeted by the Host Tracy as soon as we pulled up in car. Lovely welcome and shown straight to our room which was just in front of the car which was perfect. All rooms are on the ground, no stairs, which was a bonus and the view of the sea was spectacular as its directly on the front. Room lovely and clean, no issues. Breakfast - what can we say - 1st class. Tracy was very sociable and made our visit worthwhile, would definitely return.

Tracey was an excellent host. View from room across the sea was excellent. The shower was very good and required no adjusting. Breakfast was excellent and very quickly produced. Extremely comfortable double bed.

WIFI was a bit up and down but not really a showstopper for me. Although location is very good (especially for the view) expect to walk up and down the hill along the roadside very often to get to town proper.

The hotel room was spacious, clean and very well appointed, beautifully designed, beds were very comfortable, air-con was a big bonus for this time of year, the landlady Tracey was attentive and couldn't do enough for us, the breakfast was filling and plentiful, the hotel itself has a fantastic view over the sea and is just a short walk to town, with parking directly outside the room, which is unusual for hotels in Looe so it was brilliant to not have to pay to park for weekend, we have stayed in Looe many times and so far this has been far and away the best place we have stayed in, can't wait to get book it again and get back there.

Tracey is an exceptional host, she really looked after me during my stay and did everything she could to make me feel comfortable and at home. The room is very big and spacious, and with a good size clean bathroom. I liked that my car was right outside the room which is why I booked this accommodation. I follow a very special and restrictive diet so I didn’t eat the breakfast, my friend who was staying with me did eat the breakfast and she enjoyed it very much. I enjoyed being able to eat my own food in the breakfast room with others rather than on my own and was made to feel very welcome. All in all a great stay and highly recommend (plus air con in the room! Great feature). Also, I really like Hannafore as it’s quieter than Looe and more peaceful.

The mattress in the room was a bit soft and uneven in places which wasn’t great for my back. Sometimes cigarette smoke came in through the door as other guests were smoking outside their rooms.

Everything, relaxing on my bed l coukd see my car outside and the sea, was wonderful, it had everything we needed large mirror, modern bathroom, tea/coffee facilities, hairdrier, nice towels, plenty of room..Tracey the owner was lovely and helpful. First time we have stayed so close to home, but we enjoyed it more then our literally hundreds abroad, more personal.First time hubby has ever said, l would stay here again, sob theres your answer. Great.

Absolutely nothing about the B and B, you need a car really, there is a bus l saw, no shops that side, but that l knew when l booked. You will always have a parking place. Theres a kiosk abit further down / cafe only meal you can get is at the Hannafore Hotel next door but one, people were going in there, up the lift and great views, so thats one that side, might be more, but its not like Looe.
