Michaela and Ben offer hospitality with a capital H, very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The rooms are of a perfectly adequate size and comfortable and are decorated beautifully. Breakfast is a continental style using good quality produce and very nicely presented. Wellingtons is a little way out of Fowey town but there is an easy downhill walk into the centre and a local bus running continually throughout the day in case you don’t fancy the walk back. We would definitely recommend Wellingtons and would happily return again and again to stay.

Shower was rather small but it was still manageable.

Delicious breakfast with eggs cooked to order. Fresh seasonal fruit, cereals, yogurts, toast, jams etc. together with freshly brewed coffee or tea and orange juice. Convenient location with parking (a real bonus in Fowey during regatta week!). A very comfortable room with lovely bedding and decor. Soft, fluffy towels for the very good electric shower. Michaela and Ben were super hosts, so friendly, helpful and informative. We would highly recommend Wellingtons to friends, family and fellow travellers and would return without hesitation.

Best. Stay. Ever. We loved every second, the room was so comfortable, the bath was so amazing, the location was perfect, and the hosts were absolutely exceptional. I’ve never stayed anywhere with such wonderful hosts, Ben and Michaela were unbelievably lovely, couldn’t do enough for us, really went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and we had a perfect stay. Great to talk to, provided a wonderful comfy room, made a stellar breakfast every morning, full of super helpful tips on the best restaurants to visit, best taxi company to use, etc. - and, of course, we adored meeting the dogs. A really exceptional stay, truly wonderful hosts, we really hope we’ll be able to stay again in the future.

We had a most wonderful time with Ben and Michaela. Wellingtons is not only a great place to explore Fowey and surroundings, but feels like a second home. Excellent breakfast, lovely rooms, which are super clean, and in addition tips for getting to know Cornwall. It is a great location with parking space directly at the B&B and a nice walk into the historic town or to the beach or hiking.

Nothing that we did not like!

Exceptional hosts. Super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Wonderfully spacious rooms with beautiful colour schemes and views, and superior linens. Lots of attention to detail throughout the property with with some gorgeous touches in the lovely bathrooms. Breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared to order. Great advice given on local walks and restaurants.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike.

the breakfast was lovely. cooked lovely and fresh with lots of other foods to eat. variety of cereals , fruits , etc. the hosts were very friendly and the glass of wine was very well apprieciated after a long and difficult drive down to Cornwall in pouring rain. the beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean and decorated lovely. felt very comfortable in the guest house and they made us very welcome and feel very much at home.

there wasn,t anything that we didn't like.

The room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. Ben and Michaela were excellent hosts and provided a few extra treats which were appreciated. Breakfast was very good - beautiful fresh fruit, a variety of cereals, yoghurts and breads and a couple of egg options. We left the car at the property and walked into town - quite hilly but not a problem and it saved the hassles with parking

We loved this place. Michaela & Ben are really great hosts in every way. So much attention to detail at the property which has a very welcoming & personal feel. Breakfast was great and tailored to our preferences. The location was spot on too, just a short walk down into Fowey, it is on a hill & for us that was fine. Thankyou both for such a lovely stay & for being so attentive. We hope to see you again. (we booked the 'Rebecca' room)

We liked everything.

Great hosts, so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, continental breakfast was plentiful. The location was a 10 minute walk down the hill to town, possibly 15 to 20 minutes back up 😄. Bus stop about 8 minutes away for the No 24/25 to Charlestown and St Austell or onwards to Mevagissey or Newquay, would recommend buying the £7 dayrider if you are using public transport, Par Station was a 15 minute bus ride or 10 minutes in a taxi.

The hosts were absolutely lovely - you could tell from the moment we got there. Really friendly, offered us a drink when we arrived and really couldn’t do enough for us, including booking us dinner somewhere as we didn’t realise things closed by 9ish! The hosts have a separate living area and just let you come and go as you please. They had 3 dogs and 2 cats but they were very careful to only bring them out after asking if we were ok with that. We totally were - the dogs were really cute and well behaved, and my husband totally fell in love with Millie the cat! Breakfast in the morning was great - continental with a few hot items that were beautifully presented. We booked a suite because that was all that was available, which was two rooms and our own private bathroom across the hallway. They provided the world’s softest dressing gown to lounge around in/go in the hallway :-)

Nothing - it was all good! Was a little further away from town than we thought but 15mins is really not long and it was a good opportunity to walk off our multiple cream teas! I enjoyed it as the stars were beautiful round there - we ended up standing outside staring at the sky for quite some time!
