I loved that this was a serviced apartment with a concierge. It was impeccably clean, fully equipped with kitchen facilities, and included thoughtful extras I hadn’t expected. I especially appreciated the two packets of Dorset cereals and the fresh milk in the fridge – it meant that breakfast was taken care of. I was also pleasantly surprised by how quiet the apartment was, despite its proximity to the town centre.

This is more of a cautionary note than a complaint, as I don’t think the concierge could have done anything about it. Given the high demand for parking in Reading, your allocated space might be taken if you leave it while the concierge is off duty (between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m.).

Was surprised at what a little gem this place was. Only booked because I needed parking and even adding the parking fee on, the price was so decent compared to hotels nearby. I was given an upgrade to the two bed apartment when I checked in for some reason, even though I was on my own so that was nice. the apartment was lovely and clean, and even had a terrace. The little breakfast package and pint of milk in fridge was a nice touch. Location was great too as easy to drive in to and also only a short walk to the train station.

The blinds on the bedroom windows didn’t block out the light. Could do with some blackout curtains or something in addition to the blinds. The chairs in the living area were not very comfy. You could feel the springs through the very thin “cushion” on top.

Excellent facilities, very friendly helpful reception staff, offered discounts in nearby restaurants, lots of pubs also and a well known supermarkets nearby which is great when in a apart-hotel

Needs some written instructions on what the symbols on electric oven mean for those like me who have never had electric ever ( burnt something) and on how to operate the fan and heating regulator, I should have checked on internet in hindsight or gone to staff but had had some probs with tv and did not want to keep hassling the staff, tried to work out, but simple instructions would really help

The apartment was spacious and full of light. Everything was clean, working and newly refurbished. Generally speaking, it was a very comfortable stay,

The window blinds don't really close stop the sunlight from coming in in the early morning, so we woke up at 6.30-7.00 every morning and we couldn't sleep very much for this reason. Luckily for us we were on a business trip, so we would have to wake up anyways, but this might be a bit annoying for a holiday stay.

Yasmin at the reception was exceptional . Her constant smile always greets us whenever we are coming in or going out. We will definitely return because of her excellent customer service n complete focus on the job.

We needed additional bed over the weekend but was told that it is not available as housekeeping was closed during weekends. Shower heads were both not functioning properly with lots of leakage

The place was immaculate and had a staff person readily at hand at the door to help with entry, checkin, etc. It was well appointed with nice furniture, dishes, bed, couch, etc. Instructions were very clear. Everything worked, especially the heat! After 2 weeks in the UK in Jan and finding every rental borderline cold, this was nice. There wasn't really a breakfast, though it was a nice touch to have a few boxes of granola/muesli, milk, and instant coffee/tea in the kitchen when I arrived. They weren't replenished but possibly if I'd asked they would have been. Also, I sent a question about the towel warming rack and it was answered quickly.

No real complaints. Perhaps the windows could have a had a blackout curtain but the blinds kept them pretty dark at night (with streetlights behind the unit some light filtered in).

Excellent location, really well equipped and comfortable studio. Great staff.

Disappointed with malfunctioning aircon, especially as my stay coincided with a mini-heatwave. Everything else about the room and location was excellent.

Good amount of space overall in the studio room. The bathroom & kitchen were a good size and the the apartment was furnished with convenient desks, chairs and a sofa etc. Staff are polite and happy to support.

House Keeping is not included which for the price you would hope they would include it.

Centrally located in Reading which was good for transport, shopping and restaurants. Freindly staff and easy access to the apartment. Room was spacious and the arrival pack was a bonus for a nice cuppa!

Bathroom was in need of some repairs; has previously had leaks in the shower unit. Whilst it was functional, it looked rough. Needed more shelving or a cupboard under the sink for toiletries. Kitchen worktop is in need of replacement around the sink/cooker top.

Friendly staff, spacious room, comfy bed. Parking was ideal.

Noisy at nighttime from the street. Signposting to car park could be better.
