Upon arrival I was met by a very cheerful lady who handled my arrival with great professionalism, the room I was allocated was easily found, later in the evening I went to the restaurant and bar again I was met by a happy waiter he saw me to a table of my choosing and brought me my chosen drink while I waited for my work colleague to arrive. For a meeting and dinner, we had a few drinks and enjoyed an excellent meal, served by excellent happy staff. Again at checkout it was a simple process conducted by again a pleasant lady.

Due to the A45 having problematic road works I believe signage on the road and within the grounds would assist visitors.

We had lunch on arrival, which was excellent, but the wine list was a bit limited. The room was clean and adequate for an overnight stay. The bathroom was in good order, a weakness in many other hotels. My only point of concern was the sloping roof being a health and safety risk, I lightly touched it with my forehead twice, spotting it a little late. my advice is to move the bed away from that as far as possible, this would mean the bedside table and sockets may need to be moved, so this may need to be planned to fit in with re-decoration. In the meantime, a Stripe could be painted down the edge of the slope to make it more obvious.

Just the health and safety point mentioned above

We sort of got the room I requested as we are regulars now. The was great and cosy, however it creaked which made for a fitful nights sleep. The food is excellent and always hot. The service was brilliant.

I always ak for a quiet room on the 1st floor and at the end of the corridor avoiding any proximity to the fire doors. This time despite being told I would get room I had the last time (I did mention it at booking in and the person ignored that) we got one by a fire door. Luckily the hotel was not busy so no massive traffic. The early start of the hot water system was not welcome and on the Saturday it started later.?? Why does it make a noise anyway. The bed creaked, easily solved as the shower door that does not close.

The location was brilliaant just off the A45. The room was great for a 3 star and very clean. Having tried numerous other hotels in the Rugby area even as far a Daventry this is the best all rounder with pleasant staff as standard not as an option with others. The test was to be the food wich was brilliant and served with defereence with an attentive staff. ie the double cheesburger was just that a double pattie as oppose to others who think a double cheesburger is 2 types of cheese - really. This is a rare find and judging on this first visit will not be the last as it hits all the right buttons.

Quiet room was not so quiet largely due to some ballon stomping around upstairs at 05:00 - clearly not the hotels fault, however the rear car park has the sort of golfer that has yet to experience self control after a bad game so numerous driver left with wheels spinning - perhaps a laser cannon for offenders.

Pleasant room with full facilities ie tea/coffee iron and ironing board. Bed HUGE and v.comfortable. Window could be opened for real fresh air - BONUS!. Breakfast selection of cereal adequate and coffee really good in quality and size of mug. But cooked breakfast - WOW. Best poached eggs I've had in many a journey away. Thanks Draycote for making my short stay enjoyable. PS Your staff are spot on, very helpful and polite.

Smallest of niggles - like to listen to Greatest Hits Radio normally available via TV in room, but not so in this case. Got around it by putting laptop up :-)

The room seems a little tired but mostly quiet and comfortable. No noise from outside just thoughtless guests slamming doors - but hey nothing new. The food is excellent and hot.

Noisy guests but I've never been able to do anything about that as shouting does not work. Not bad this time just the odd bang of the door. The hotel cannot do anything about that except perhaps check the self shutting mechanisms.

We stayed in the superior room with steel bathtub, very high spec room and bathroom. Staff were very friendly, dinner and breakfast were outstanding.

The room was hot through the night, air con was needed. Generator positioned outside the room kept kicking in throughout the night. Breakfast was outstanding, the coffee machine and toaster needs to be moved away from the end of the buffet line as caused a queue. Dinner waitress was new, asked for a salad dressing, she had no idea. We ordered extras and she didn't know how to charge to the room so hounded us in the lounge area.

Very good value. At the price, excellent lounge, bar and restaurant facilities. We needed to hang around for several hours while waiting to meet others and the lounge and bar were ideal for our needs. Excellent attentive staff. Excellent breakfast and decent dinner.

On a busy main road so no chance of walking to get anywhere or just to walk, so you need a car or be prepared to use taxis

Loved our stay. It was such good value for money. We had been to Silverstone and it is so hard to find local accommodations. The hotel was 40 mins away but a straight run. The entrance to the grounds which includes part of the golf course are lovely and so well maintained!. Greeted warmly and given our two rooms. The rooms are spotless and the beds are so comfy! There is no air-con but there are fans supplied in each room!. The rooms have everything you need. We slept perfectly and enjoyed a beautiful cooked breakfast with lots on offer. Such good value, the entrance and breakfast & bar area are lovely. Hotel is a little dated and tired but in terms of value and cleanliness it is excellent. Will definitely rebook.

The room was large with plenty of space. The bed was large and comfortable. The temperature of the room was also good. The bathroom was also large with plenty of room

The room could do with some maintenance. Some of the light didn't work. The reception on the TV was very poor. Kept going distorted and blocky. The aerial output on the wall above the TV wasn't fixed to the wall, maybe that's the problem? I've had far better rooms for less money.
