The location of the The Oak is a quiet rural setting yet it is still close to the M6 and Coventry centre. Our room was a great size and very well priced. We had a nice comfy bed and the shower was good. Breakfast was included in the price too. Staff were polite and made a fuss of our 5 month old pup. They were very dog friendly. We would definatley stay again if going to the area.

The wifi was hit and miss but we were only there overnight so we didn't raise it. There is a good menu but the food was adequate. However, we loved the jackfruit wings as a starter for our evening meal. TV was a little small for the size of the room but overall don't be put off. It's great vale for what you get and the positives are the important things here.

Set in a small village with gorgeous old church nearby and lovely old properties - there's a MASSIVE oak tree about 20yards away🌳( hence the name of the hotel I guess!). Easy to get to using satnav plus other quaint villages nearby worth visiting (Bubbenhall and Stoneleigh) , ALSO the Midland Aviation museum which we visited ✈️ Staff were friendly and attentive, food good.

Our room had a metal electric radiator in which, while effective, made constant pinging noises throughout the night (expansion and cooling of the metal while the radiator maintained room temperature)... It disturbed our first night's sleep but we wised up and turned it off the second night and had blissful silence. WIFI was only available in the main body of the bar/restaurant and spasmodic there too at times

Easy to find. Convenient location for what we needed.

Unfortunately, we were on the ground floor where many dog owners were located and everytime the dogs left or returned to the rooms the noise of their claws on the laminate floor carried loudly through to other rooms. Their barking also carried throughout the ground floor. We had booked an evening meal but sadly on the weekend that we stayed the restaurant closed due to staff shortages. We checked in at 4:30 p. m and were not informed of this, so when we arrived at the bar at 6 p. m for a pre meal drink the bar staff then told us the kitchen was closed. We then had to travel a mile down the road to eat.

It all went very smoothly. Reception and check-in were excellent. The room was quiet, clean and cosy. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and tidy and the shower was easy to use. Breakfast was delicious, but was not included in the price of the room. The bar had a good selection of beers, including 4 hand-pumped real ales. The staff were welcoming and helpful and made the stay most enjoyable. If I need accommodation in this area again, I would be delighted to stay here.

There was a sign for the fire exit in the bedroom, and the green light stayed on all night, which was a bit annoying as it made getting to sleep a bit difficult. That may be part of local fire regulations, but I haven't encountered this before.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and what appeared freshly decorated (as were all the communal spaces). The beds were really comfy also. The biscuits were a nice touch. Breakfast was really enjoyable and a nice selection to choose from. All the staff that we encountered appeared friendly. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Nothing really, however if I was being picky I would say not having plugs close by to the mirrors is always a pain ( when need to use straightners or the hairdryer). Likewise, there were no plugs by the beds (but this was a problem for my son and not me).

Good location for Stoneleigh Park Parking Check in Friendly staff Great for dogs The room in the accommodation could do with cosmetic work but on the on whole it was ideal for our needs. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was very good The kitchen was closed on the Friday night, but we had dinner on Saturday night. A little pricey but it was good quality food

There really isn’t anything not to like. It is ideal for those who love dogs.

Mix up with room booked I required a down stair room with walk-in shower due to mobility however had been allocated an upstairs room no lift to second floor manager on duty informed that info had not been relayed to them he did however manage to get us a ground floor room….can’t comment on food as we did not eat as this was just a stop over… would use again if in the area but would contact hotel to ensure was allocated a room that met my needs

Great location, just off the motorway, easy to find. Carpark had lots of spaces and was free, was able to park just from accommodation so not too far to carry bags. We stayed in a dog friendly room which was clean, enough space and tea and coffee provided. Bed was a comfy double, and the pillows lovely and soft. Every member of staff we spoke with was courteous, helpful and made sure our stay was as it should be. When they say the Oak is dog friendly, they really do mean it. Our pouch was well and truly pampered with sausages in the pub in the evening, and even at breakfast.

Food was pretty standard pub food, not too much choice for vegetarian or vegan so struggled to find something on the menu. The sink tap in our bathroom was loose, and moved every time you turned it on or off. The bathroom was a little dated, and the shower worked by a mixer so you had to turn the hot and cold taps on together. I can never get this to the right temperature when having to use these. However these were little things that did not spoil our stay, and we would definitely stay here again.

The Oak is now our go-to place to stay when visiting our daughter who lives in Coventry. Tried a few others, but keep coming back here. Pub is spacious and very clean. The staff are lovely. Room always spotless (Alison really pulls out all the stops) Breakfast is good, lots of options included in the very reasonable rate. Good choice of beer too. Haven't eaten here other than breakfast. Really need to put that right next visit. Dog friendly too with a dog menu!

Everything beautiful place lovely seating area , dog friendly, food always nice , breakfast great , bar staff friendly couldn’t do enough , all staff chamber lady breakfast lady servers at night in beautiful restaurant thanks to all great 2 days especially for my sister , good menu can’t fault this lovely country place you will not be disappointed
