The property’s location is the best part about the hotel.It has very lively dinner,breakfast service and good place to hang around for casual drinks. Staff which were mostly young adults were all helpful, respectful,mindful and attentive and can’t ignore hardworking as well. We found property clean maintained with wooden furniture and squeaking wooden floor which was clean as well. No old wooden furniture smell which could put someone off in an instance.We had ironing board,and all basic facilities. You also get option of breakfast just for 9.95£. Location is known to everyone including taxi’s,bus drivers shop keepers so easy to find. Short distance walk from pier and train station and hover craft which is a great addition so you could easily and quickly arrive from Portsmouth.

It’s awful after writing so many good things to say something bad but I had mentioned to staff on reception there as well and they were aware of it which is there are not many power plugs to charge things or gadgets if you have more than 1device. Bathroom rail heaters don’t heat up properly and the fact that property does not have lifts (if you have big luggage then good luck getting them to your room) staff do offer help though.

Great location not far from the esplanade with a good selection of restaurants and pubs within walking distance. Very handy for using public transport. Good sized bedroom and comfortable bed.

Outside is quite shabby. Breakfast served in cafe next door, and car park behind the annexe across the road. Both a bit inconvenient given we were there in a very rainy week. Over-bath shower controlled by taps and difficult to get a comfortable temperature.,

The Hotel is in a perfect location, on the main street. Upon check-in, I was assigned a penthouse room with a sea view (a double room with a separate living area, a kettle/breakfast table, and a bathroom with a bathtub). The TV didn't work, so they installed a larger one. The mattress was uncomfortable, but overall the room was fabulous: 8.5 rating.

The staff were very helpful & polite & the room was spacious & clean.

There was no lift but reception gave me a 1st floor room so I managed.

We have really enjoyed our stay at the Yelf Hotel. It is in such an ideal location prefect for visiting Ryde. A close walk to the beach, restaurants and amenities. All the staff were so welcoming and accommodating they made our stay really enjoyable. Zara was so lovely throughout our stay shes very happy and helpful and Lee was so hospitable when we check-in. We would definitely come back again.

The stairs but staff were so helpful willing to help us carey our luggage to our rooms and when we were checking out.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We arrived around 11am to drop our bags off then was going to come back at check in time but advised our room was ready so let us in early which was great! Yes rooms need a bit of a facelift but very clean and large spacious bedrooms. We had breakfast one morning too and this was very good quality, especially the bacon and sausage on our full english. Would happily stay again.

The mattressess were a touch too soft for me as I like a firm mattress and a mini fridge in the room would have been nice to store cold drinks. Bathroom also had a small damp stain on the floor where there has been some previous water damage.

Staff were friendly and helpful.I got answers to all questions without any waffle.

The basin cold tap dripped and was not a tight fit to the basin.The milk sachets were not topped up the following day.The bath trim edge was peeling badly and needed replacement.The hotel advertised car parking but very limited number of spaces even coming out of season and I was lucky to find the only space each time I returned.I am not sure what I would have done without having to pay extra to park elsewhere.Signage to the car parking but had virtually all shrivelled up and peeling off and not easy to spot in the next street where located.
