All the staff and Landlord are amazing, It's in a beautiful location with a 2 minute walk to the beach. It's a great pub friendly locals. We had dinner and me and my partner really enjoyed it we can't wait to go back

Nothing except leaving!!

This is our second stay at The Fishbourne. Special thank you to Dave and his team for looking after us so well again. The whole stay was relaxing and comfortable, and breakfast was awesome , as usual.... just what we needed after each day at the Festival! The Fishbourne is a lovely pub both inside and out with great space and garden outside and great food. The rooms are clean , with a large and comfortable bed and provide everything you need for a comfortable stay. Parking directly outside, which we didn't need as we were foot passengers. All in a peaceful and quiet setting. Only a few minutes walk from the Ferry Terminal and Festival buses. Fantastic! Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when visiting The Island and already looking forward to our next breakfast !!!

There was nothing to not like.

Lovely location near the waterside, nice patio area and cosy feel to the pub. Room was nice and light and airy. Bed very comfortable and the staff really nice and friendly. The breakfast was plentiful and very good quality - excellent chef who came out and chatted with us in the mornings to check everything was ok - very nice touch.

Nothing really, but would suggest spending a little in the room to touch up paint and the seal on the bath as when having a shower water got everywhere. It was a lovely room just needed that little tlc .

The Fishbourne is located 200 metres from the ferry terminal making it a great place to stay. Large bar dining area with friendly landlord and staff that are prepared to engage conversation with you

Lovely clean rooms, however as any old building the floorboards creaked a lot ( very noisy) sound traveled through the walls and an adjoining room with small children was a little loud. It’s location into cowes driving is a little longer than the perceived 5 miles. Early morning taxi to east cowes was £30.

Good selection of food throughout the day. Generous portions and appreciated the cooked food served on hot plates. Opportunity to eat on terrace. We were happy with our large room and comfy king bed. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Although close to the ferry the location was very quiet. Allocated free parking.

Some evidence of wear and tear - very busy at times but nothing that would prevent us making a return visit.

From start to finish our short stay was fab! We had pushbikes and we were shown a safe place to leave them. The room was well decorated and a pleasant temperature. The beds were a dream! I asked for real milk and extra tea bags and was given them immediately. All the staff we spoke to were lovely. The dinner in the pub and breakfast in the morning were delicious. We walked to the beach in the evening and Quarr Abbey in the morning and thoroughly enjoyed both. The price we paid for what we got was a bargain.

The breakfast was amazing, full of flavour. The location is beautiful, secluded but not so much there is nothing near by. There is a small beach a few minutes walk and also the beautiful Quarr Abbey also a short walk whete you can feed pigs and there are lits of wildlife. The Fishbourne Inn is very near the ferry terminal and not far from the towns of Ryde, Newport or East Cowes. There is a tescos express a short drive away as well. The food was delicious and well priced and the staff were really friendly and polite.

The staff at Fishbourne were absolutely great. Nothing was too much trouble and they were very friendly. It was off-season and so good value for money. We had a light breakfast but the choice for regular breakfast looked great. The rooms are up a narrow staircase and through two doors, so may not be a good option for those with small children or those with restricted mobility. It is walking distance from the Portsmouth ferry so would suit foot passengers. The bus transport links are close by and so a car is not at all needed.

The mattress was too soft and transmitted any movement from my partner, but that is just me. The bathroom was dated and would have been better with a shower cubicle rather than the bath.

Location perfect both for relaxing and in terms of access to the many attractions and amenities on the island. Allocated parking space just for each guest party who stays at hotel. Staff were warm welcoming friendly and knowledgeable. Room was clean and spacious and everything was as expected- 100% spot on and nothing negative at all . I would stay again and again. I even wanted to stay and not have to leave.

Nothing as everything was spot on and nothing was trouble at all.

Nice accommodation with a decent pub /restaurant down stairs the wine perhaps a little expensive at £12 a large glass of chardonnay ,however beer/ Guinness and meals probably cheaper than most pubs now.. The breakfast was excellent and cooked to order with a good selection on the breakfast menu.. No struggling to find parking as each room has its own parking space. Friendly staff also made the whole experience one you'd want to repeat....I could go on....
