Ideally located for hovercraft/ferries and walking distance to town centre and seafront. Booked the compact double as single occupancy, and it was as described. Breakfasts were good and filling, perfect for a days excursion round the island. Bed was comfortable and I slept well each night. Had little contact with owners/staff other than check-in/out and breakfast, but that was down to me being out and about most of the day, and not a complaint 🙂

Would have preferred a wardrobe instead of the desk and hooks on the wall. Full length mirror would have been nice. TV very small

Bed was extremely comfortable. Room spacious and well equipped. Lovely bathroom with bath and shower, plus good quality toiletries. I liked that you could replenish teabags, milk, sugar etcetera from a basket on the reception desk without having to request them. Breakfast delicious with good choices. Lounge and bar was brilliant and sofas very comfortable. Hotel very well located.

The only very small criticism I can think of was the base cushion in the comfy chair in the bedroom room was rather saggy so didn't give good support which we only notice because we are elderly with one of us with a bad back. The creme de la creme potential improvement for any hotel for us personally would be one high backed wing chair available for the room to allow guest to get respite from back trouble whilst away on holiday but to be fair we haven't found this easily anywhere.

Was given the Victoria Suite which was very close to reception. The room was large with high ceilings making it very cool for the last week of July which was exceptionally hot. Nice roomy bathroom, all very clean, Bottled water was also supplied daily, biscuits and tea/coffee supplies. Breakfast - excellent selection of cereal, fruit juice, hot selection was all cooked to order and delivered by the very courteous Dave. All the staff were very friendly Wendy and Di and made our stay very comfortable. On a very handy bus route into town. Staff also booked the ferry (fast catamaran) at a discount rate.

Was some noise from the road - but acceptable levels.

Staff were exceptionally helpful and accommodating. Breakfast providrd a range of options. Parking facility was of great benefit. Lounge with bar was comfortable and cosy. Overall well maintained. Ceilings showed delightful signs of how the building might have been. As a B&B close to centre of Ryde, with parking, at the price was overall excellent.

I have no dislikes. Only comments are that ceiling lighting was low but covered by additional table and bedside lights. An instruction /guide for adjusting heater would be helpful.

Friendly staff and location

Very tired in general 1970 stile needs updating and modifying ie carpets wall paper and bedroom furniture old fashioned and cheap looking. A good maintenance team is needed ie door locks, key hold too close to pilar to operate. Car park entrance very difficult to enter and exit,as vehicles always parked opposite the entrance. Needs to be wider .General maintenance very poor a lot of bodge work. Ie plumbing and electric Sockets and cable. Plumbing in bedrooms very poor bodge work. Painting? In general needs to be done inside and outside. Stay at a Premier inn, and you will know what I mean.

I had a very pleasant stay lovely breakfast, very helpful staff. I had a slight problem having very carelessly left my phone charger at home. This was solved by a very helpful staff member much to my relief.

My only problem was the very small tv which was quite unreliable unfortunately as l spend a fair amount of time in the room, this was a problem it just turned off and l had a job getting it back, and although it had freeview didn't have the programme l liked. No point in complaining at the time, l was only there for a couple of days. It would have just made my stay more perfect. I realise most residents don't require tv as much.

Michael went the extra mile before we even arrived by helping book our ferry crossing and arranging a discount. All staff were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating. The hotel is situated on a hill which leads directly down to the sea front and is also 5 minutes from the centre of Ryde. It is also a street across from a main bus stop so is conveniently located. The hotel offers a good full English breakfast. There is a good TV lounge and bar and garden to rear and hotel carpark.

Only one pillow was provided and room not well soundproofed especially from noise from above.

It's in a great location. The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially as we were early check ins. The room was very clean, beautifully decorated (I want the wallpaper!) It's a lovely, well maintained property inside and out. It has a lovely garden with a very friendly cat 😻 ❤️ Breakfast was great and lovely dining room. As regular visitors to the island, this will be our 1st choice of hotel when stepping off the ferry. Great value for money.

The only criticism has too be the position of the TV on the wall! Very awkward to watch it from the bed.

Very conveniently positioned, a short walk away from the beach and the esplanade, but better value than the hotels on the seafront. Checking in was a quick and simple process, and the room was pleasant and clean, however, The sink was in the room (not in the bathroom) but it was making the best use of the space available, Breakfast was fresh and served quickly, with unlimited self-service cereal, juice, and tea/coffee available. I would not hesitate in staying here again.

The decoration does require some TLC, including a paper sign that was torn and half off the wall where it was originally attached. A minor issue, but replacing it would take minutes, and it would immediately give a better first impression.

The hotel was lovely and clean as was my room, and it was a very quiet area even though not far from shops pubs etc, also the staff were lovely as I had to get them to adjust my arrival time and they did so without any bother, and also i liked it so much I decided if it was possible to keep my room on for an extra night, and they checked and said i could.Breakfast was included and there was plenty of choice you could have cereal to start and then a cooked breakfast and this was served up very quickly i thought as there was hardly no waiting from ordering to being served up,that's the cooked breakfast I mean as every thing else was help yourself, and the man that took the order was very polite,so I will definitely be back here.

There wasn't anything I didn't like and that's being truthful
