Staff were very helpful and pleasant. The meals I had, B&D, were very good and service also very good and the staff unobtrusively watched the clients, well trained. The hotel is situated in an ideal position and it is only a short walk to the cathedral, market, gardens and other places of interest.

The bedroom I was in was very clean and well appointed but it was very cold, the a/c was set at 32C but was more like 16C and couldn't be adjusted. The heated towel rail didn't work either, so the room was very cool on a cold day. After I reported this a portable heater was placed in the room so thank you. Again, a but, the bed was uncomfortable with some of the springs sticking through the covering and I had to negotiate around them. A mattress topper would perhaps make it better or perhaps a new mattress?

Fantastic location right in the centre of this historic town and only a stone's throw from the Cathedral. Convenient parking on site too The staff were super friendly and helpful. Jack on reception particularly went above & beyond to make our overnight stay perfect - thank you! Amazing upgrade offer which resulted in a fabulous premium room which was super luxurious - comfortable and quiet on the second floor at the back of the hotel.

There is no lift in this lovely old building which made the long walk to our room a bit challenging but ...we were informed of this prior to arrival and Jack was super helpful with our luggage.

The hotel is located in the city centre, within a short walk to the Cathedral and bars plus restaurants etc. Our rooms were spacious enough, the beds were comfortable and everything worked as it should. The rooms were very clean, including after we returned to them after a day out. The housekeepers did a excellent job.

There was no lift and our rooms were on the second floor. A receptionist offered help with our luggage, but this was not necessary as our bags were not heavy. The rooms did not have a safe, but safe keeping of items is to my understanding available at the reception. This said, the positive factors far outweigh the negative ones and I would be happy to stay at this hotel again.

We loved the very warm welcome from the receptionist on duty and Trevor. The hotel felt so welcoming and bright and was so clean. The room was great in terms of size and overall comfort apart from the fact that the pillows were small. We liked the choice of teas/coffees in the room and the breakfast was very good. We will definitely be returning when/if we come to Salisbury. It felt quite homely and was in an excellent location for central Salisbury.

Some more/bigger pillows would be great , as the bed overall is comfortable. We unfortunately had very noisy neighbours in the room which seemed adjoining. They came in during the early hours in the morning and talked loudly for well over an hour. I realise this was not the hotel's fault but they seemed very close!

Excellent staff and service. Very close proximity to cathedral. Car parking was good and noise reduction in the room was excellent. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room were much appreciated.

Stairs to first floor, they were clearly indicated when we booked but we're still a little tiresome. The car park was excellent but not highlighted in the hotel description, or if they were they were hidden by current road works in the area. By the way I meant to point out that our room, 123, has a constant small leak into the bowl. Not a problem for us as it is silent but I dread to think what it is doing for your total water usage.

Really nice Double room spacious clean, good mattress, firm pillow, clean and easy to use showers , good tea/coffee facilities. Big TV in right position.

Drinks expensive at bar, corridors a bit grubby , could do with modernisation.

Beautiful new apartments behind the hotel itself, everything fresh and clean. Inside of hotel was again all quite new but very tastefully and period sympathetically designed. Location couldn't have been better, 2 minute walk across the road to the close and then the Cathedral. Multiple pubs and cafes in a 5 minute walk. Staff were the stand out the lady at the desk was really welcoming and helpful. Plus, unusually its dog friendly hotel as well. A refreshing change for a chain hotel!

Bed and pillows a bit soft for me, a choice would have made it perfect.

I loved the proximity to the centre and the ease of parking at the rear of the hotel. The room was spacious and quiet and the bed very comfy and big. The staff were so friendly and welcoming - it makes a big difference when travelling alone ( as a woman) to feel so welcomed and my cocker spaniel was extra welcome which also eased any worries I had about bringing him. The little rear garden makes a very pretty entrance from the car park.

I didn't like the furnishing or lighting in the bar/restaurant - it just wasn't cosy or tempting to eat there.

The staff were very considerate and gave us a room quite away from the centre of the hotel where there were various events which were noisy

Lovely hotel . Spotlessly clean. Great breakfast thanks to the two lovely ladies there. Very helpful nothing too much trouble. Restaurant meals were just amazing. All staff went out of there way to provide a atmosphere of loving what they did. Friendly & helpful. Must thank Georgina for sorting out our quiery about the bed. Went out of her way to help. . Also the lovely young man at checkout this morning. Thank you very much for a great week away. We will be back.
