Very spacious with modern decor, the room was beautiful with comfy beds and plenty of room to move around, bathroom was also very well decorated and had plenty of room. The breakfast was the best we have had when staying in Sheffield with plenty of choice. Drinks were not to expensive which is always a bonus.

Most staff were very polite and friendly though the 2 young girls on reception on the day we arrived were very miserable and made you feel like you were an inconvenience to them when you checked in because it meant they had to do something, we sat in the bar as our room wasn’t ready and could see the girls faces were miserable which isn’t the best look when you’re front of house.

Friendly and accommodating staff which made the biggest positive impression. The room was very tidy and spacious, and the high-quality of blackout curtains certainly did not disappoint for the deeper quality of sleep. Clean and large lounge/dining area - perfect for catching up with your friends without the madness of central city life.

I do like to keep my room temperature lower than 17 degrees Celsius, which for most is too cold. This is just my personal preference to keep my body temperature down during my sleep, and this is certainly not the knock-off on the quality of the room provided - the room was perfect temperature if I didn't cover myself with a duvet during sleep. This is just a minor feedback that most will never even consider as a point of improvement.

Everything was perfect, literally perfect apart from the pillows. Please get better pillows. We had 2 pillows each, but had to roll a bath towel up to make them higher. As soon as you lay your head on them they went completely flat. The bed & bedding otherwise was so comfortable, but the pillows spoiled it. This is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. Lovely comfy lobby & bar area. Great location. The breakfast was outstanding & the restaurant staff couldn’t do enough to make us happy, the best customer service ever! We will be back once the pillows have been upgraded.

Everything was very clean. Generally quiet, other than fire doors slamming from other rooms around. Love the rain shower and soaps/shower products on offer. Generally felt safe and secure. Bed and pillows very comfortable.

I didn't really have a place to do my makeup, such as a small desk with good lighting. The bathroom door opened inwards towards the shower. Which was fine, other than the door stop being right where I would step out the shower. I stubbed my toe on it a couple of times. Car parking was so overpriced. On the website it says £15 for 24hrs but for about 16hrs it wanted us to pay £30 so we had to park a 10 min walk away to save some money.

The cleanliness, the size of the television, the room size, the modern decor, lovely carpet & the very large comfortable bed, the view, the quietness & very friendly attentive professional staff.

The shower water could have been a little hotter as it was just warm (my preference is hot}. Spotlight to light up the building glaring straight onto the window & into the room when curtains open & the glare was obscuring the night view outside (also glass pane was dirty outside adding to the glare). I did click on breakfast option when booking this room, though this was not showing up when checking in? To be able to have a breakfast I would have had to pay extra, so didn't have breakfast out of principal, hence 9/10 score & not 10/10.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was spotless and incredibly clean, which made a great first impression. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable. The hotel itself was lovely, with a nice bar to relax in. Breakfast was absolutely superb, offering a wide range of options from hot food to delicious pastries. Plus, it's in a great location, just a short distance from the city centre. Highly recommend! Coffee machine wasn't great but small thing compared to how great everything else was. Parking could have been cheaper

I was disappointed as we had checked online for a time for breakfast, only to see there was no mention at all for timings. It wasn’t until we went downstairs, we were told breakfast was from 6.60-10am and they were cleaning everything away. I couldn’t fault the ladies as they tried to be as helpful as possible but I genuinely feel the website could be more informative!!

I am a blue badge holder but still had to pay £15.00 to park my car, overnight, at the Double Tree by Hilton hotel and wasn’t told who runs the parking, to claim the money back!

Clean, presentable and comfortable.

The location was a little out the way but not too bad. The only thing I didn’t like was the light switches in the room were very confusing, almost as if they were all interlinked e.g the bathroom light stopped working and it transpired that the switches next to the bed controlled it. After that all the switches were mixed up, the hall light turned on the bedside light, the left bedside light turned on the right side and one of the bedside switches controlled the bathroom. Not a huge issue but very confusing when you want to use the bathroom at night!

Being located right next to Sheffield United ground, the game in which we attended following our football club (Plymouth - and it’s a long way!), it was the perfect location to unwind. The hotel had printed off all arrivals beforehand to the matchday stewards, so we were allowed access to the huge car park adjacent. The hotel was a perfect location for any match day goers like ourselves, and a short 5/10 minute walk to the city centre after the game. The breakfast in the morning was exceptionally good and helped us for our journey back down south.

It was a little rowdy after the football match, but that was to be expected and no fault of anyone at the hotel. Once checked in after the match, we headed into the elevator and immediately as we got in, we couldn’t hear a thing. It was clean all throughout.
