The location is delightful, in a tranquil position with great views. Our room was attractive, beautifully clean and very comfortable. All the staff were excellent, helpful, welcoming and professional. The food was delicious, with plenty of choice. The public rooms and the garden are absolutely stunning. There was also plenty of car parking space. We really enjoyed our stay here.

We would have appreciated some information beforehand about how to find the main entrance. Our phone brought us to the delivery entrance.

Everyone says the staff are amazing and I can honestly confirm ... they are! Sally on Reception was really lovely and helpful, I didn't catch his name, but the man who showed us in and served our breakfast was such a gentleman and perfect for his job , so friendly! I must mention my Cosmopolitan Cocktail. The best ever 🍸. One more mention for George. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Again, perfect balance of friendly and professional. The Hall itself is stunning. The dinner was exceptional as was the breakfast. Gardens are beautiful, don't forget to say hello to the donkeys and llamas! Such a fab place for a birthday treat 😍

Beautiful building well renovated. Very attentive and friendly staff who check you into your rooms and take your food orders in the lounge in a more relaxed and enjoyable environment. Our waiter was particularly good and professional while being funny which our guests enjoyed. We also did a tour of the grounds which was enjoyable. Rooms are small but comfortable and homely. Food at the restaurant was excellent.

Music played until after 2am (until I rang reception and asked for it to be turned down). There was an event going on, so understandable but we felt 2am was a bit too late. As such we didn’t sleep well.

Beautiful property and grounds. The staff without exception were amazing. Excellent friendly service. We had dinner in the evening and both the food and service were exceptional

We found the bedroom was very warm but a free standing fan was provided. At home we have super king beds and found the standard double very small. We would definitely consider upgrading in the future

We were checked in personally by Paula who was exceptional throughout our stay. Friendly, polite, professional with a great sense of humour. Gorgeous surroundings and beautifully finished rooms. The hotel offers an exceptional Breakfast and the Hollandaise sauce on the eggs benedict was amazing.. My partner had the lamb from Sunday dinner which was absolutely delicious with a wonderful mash. The cheeseboard and Chocolate Torte were delicious. We had an intermittent noise in our room and when we called reception, we were moved quickly and efficiently to a new room. This was excellent customer service from Paula. The grounds were beautiful but we didn't have time to fully explore sadly due to a busy schedule. Being able to feed the Donkeys was fun and meeting the Lamas was pretty cool even if they are a little aloof :-) We will definitely be back and may even book our wedding here.

My Sunday dinner was a little disappointing, I had the chicken (beautifully moist), which had the pig in blanket missing, but I did receive a free drink when I challenged this. The potatoes felt a little dried up and cold, and the yorkshire pudding (which was generously given as an extra) was also cold and dry. The staff were very attentive and did all they could to overcome these issues, so no complaints needed. The morning coffee was a little weak and tepid. Even though we have identified improvements, it didn't impact on the stay, so do not be put off staying here. To be honest the staff are the shining light here, their attitude is just wonderful and sadly something we see less of these days.

What a fabulous place. We only stayed for one night but will but for more next year as it was so fabulous. A stunning view as you approach the Hall, and a lovely welcome. Beautiful bedroom and public rooms ( it is a historic house) and the food was also brilliant. Friendly courteous staff. You can even pet the alpacas and donkey belonging to the Hall. I can't praise it enough.

There was nothing which we did not like. It was so good.

A delightful place to stay for a special occasion. Staff do all they can to make it a pleasure to be there. Food is very good and eating there is relaxed and enjoyable. The public rooms are lovely to be in. The grounds are impressive.

The classic bedroom is small and lacks seating - the addition of a foldable chair would be a real benefit for a couple. The Hall is somewhat out of the way and this adds to its charm for a stay but would be a restriction for to-ing and fro-ing.

Service and attention to detail, and the staff who were professional and friendly. We ate in the restaurant and the food was amazing, comparing very well to Michelin star establishments we have been to. There was a whole Art Deco feel, down to the period alarm clock and radio in the room (along with the LCD TV). The whole experience was so much more than we expected.

The road to and from the hotel is more of a track and doesn't give a good impression of the delightfully wonderful experience you enjoy when you arrive.
