Very cozy with a mix of old style buildings but nicely modernized. Bed was huge and comfy. Nice inside the pub and good outside area. The young lady who checked us in and served breakfast was lovely. Brekky was good and included in our stay which I didn’t think it was so bonus there.

Food was overpriced and not the greatest for what you pay. I enjoyed my Gammon, but the pizza we ordered wasn’t good at all. Seemed to be a frozen pizza and cost £13. You get much better in Iceland for less than £3!

A really nicely decorated pub with boutique rooms. Had a meal in the restaurant which was really tasty and plentiful. Cheesecake desert was delicious. All the staff members were friendly and welcoming. It has a great atmosphere. I particularly liked sitting outside on the patio area, which had heaters , made us feel like we were on holiday. The pub decor is well thought out. The bedroom ( room 4) was nicely decorated , big shower , king bed and a nice view overlooking some gardens ( it's on the main road however didn't bother us it's not overly busy!) . Breakfast was well worth £7. Hot and tasty. A choose of continental items to choose from as well as hot food ! The morning chef was very friendly, welcoming and chatty ! A real asset to the pub. We would definitely return

Lovely little place. Nice room. Lovely location. Few minutes drive to hoo zoo if you have an experience booked.

Response time to emails etc is quite slow. Tables felt quite sticky. We were sat next to a faux plant that was covered in dust. Not appealing when eating. Not a great range of gluten free options for meals.

I liked how welcoming the staff made us feel when we first arrived. The staff at reception was very helpful with breakfast times and also about if we wanted to eat in the restaurant. The staff in the bar were great, they were very helpful and made us feel welcomed, we even eat in the bar because the restaurant got a couple of big groups of people arrive. The food was fantastic and there was even a really good option for my friend who is glutton free, when we were ordering our food the staff was very knowledgeable about what was on offer for her to eat and even mentioned alternatives for her to have.

Staff were helpful and friendly, especially the chef who does breakfast. Food was of a high standard and the bar and restaurant area was spacious and vibrant. Room was very comfortable and modern, very fresh and airy. Only downside was the cupboard door kept swinging open in the bedroom but other than have nothing to fault at all. Wouldn't hesitate to book again if working locally.

The room was mall but comfortable and although it was beside a road it was fairly quiet. good shower. Large pub/restaurant so plenty of space for meals. Breakfast was freshly cooked and good, although there wasn't a big choice after the cooked option.

Only sachet drinks available at breakfast, no fresh coffee/latte etc.

Breakfasts, there's plenty of choice, cereals, pastries, fresh fruit and cooked options. Lovely fresh food. The evening menu is standard pub fair but all freshly prepared and portion sizes are generous. All the staff are so welcoming, helpful and thorough. Would certainly return.

Everything about this place was superb. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfy. We slept well. The food was delicious, we had breakfast and dinner. The atmosphere and vibe were so warm.

I honestly can't think of anything. If you are expecting a silent night then this probably isn't for you. Noise stopped at around 11.30pm as the pub settled down. It wasn't overly loud though.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing, and very good value for money. The bedroom we stayed in was very clean. The furnishings in the bedroom are very modern, and the bathroom was very spacious.

Stayed for 3 nights for work. Really nice friendly staff and we were in room 5 which was very comfortable. We had food each evening and was very nice. Would 100% recommend staying and eating there.
