Even during the booking period, I contacted Phil and Kate via email to alert them of my mum's condition and accessibility. I got a response within 24 hours, followed by a phone call. I was absolutely blown away with their response. On arrival, we were greeted by Phil, and he was extremely helpful(what a guy) He helped us all to our rooms and reassured me that my mum would be fine, and if she needed to use the stairlift, he would accommodate. The rooms were clean and airy and had every accessory to make our stay comfortable. Even down to jar of hot chocolate and biscuits to the bathroom essentials. The food is amazing, we ordered evening meals due to my parents wanting to relax. I can recommend the salmon, steak pie, cottage pie, and wowzer to their dessert menu. Absolutely brilliant stay from young to old. Thank you, Phil and Kate.

That we only booked for a short stay

Great location for the south beachfront, wonderfully friendly staff and a clean well equipped room with a surprisingly large amount of storage. Lots of choice at breakfast. Absolutely superb value for money! Would definitely stay here again on a future visit to Bridlington.

my one and only negative would be the poor water pressure in the shower, however with only staying one night this really didn't matter at all

Everything best, b&b, we have stayed in by miles. Phil and Kate were a lovely couple. The breakfast was well presented and tasted great. If you needed anything, they would do their best to sort it Phil was a moaning old sod (his words not mine) he kept a well stocked bar and kept us entertained all night. We will definitely be going back, will recommend Brockton to all.

There is nothing to dislike.

Friendly family hotel. Very comfortable. Clean. Facilities excellent. Food wonderful home cooking. Very friendly. Phil and Kate always came and had a chat with guests. Nothing was too much trouble. I’ll be happy to return. Thank you both very much for making my stay very enjoyable.

Breakfast was excellent. And plenty enough to start your day. The location was great 10 minutes from the town centre. The owners were very nice.

The hosts, Phil and Katie, were friendly and welcoming. Firm comfortable beds made for a good night's rest. Katie cooked a delicious hearty breakfast served by a very cheerful Phil who kept us entertained with his jokes. It was good to end a busy day with a pint in the bar lounge, relaxing and chatting with other guests. A great family hotel, extremely considerate of my two year old Grandson who enjoyed playing with the toys in the lounge. Definitely reccomend The Brockton which is perfectly situated for the beach, children's pool, the spa and only a short stroll to the harbour, amusements and town centre.

Room was clean, well decorated, comfortable. Shower was very good, beds very comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful had a great holiday.

Not a lot of parking but plenty of space on the street. Couldn't make the tele work but wasn't that bothered, didn't come to watch tele.

Absolutely perfect location as it was 5 min casual walk to Bridlington Spa where we should have been seeing a show. Only 15 min walk into the main town and 2 mins to the sea/beach 😃 We got parked right outside the door and got a very warm welcome. Pleasant and value for money.

Although some things weren't to my taste it really is just that, personally taste and in no way detracts from what was a pleasant stay.

Lovely friendly staff, great breakfast and twin room in good condition. If you’re looking for a good quality low cost stay this place would be ideal.

Black out curtains for the bedroom but that’s just a personal choice
