Karen was an amazing host, so kind and thoughtful. Lovely to have a sitting room as well as a bedroom and bathroom. Everywhere was beautifully furnished and absolutely spotlessly clean. There were lots of welcome little touches like biscuits, port and even a birthday cake as we had visited to celebrate my husband's birthday. We felt very comfortable. The house is beautiful and in a gorgeous village with a cosy pub and plenty of eating places within walking distance. Karen also has a lovely antiques shop which is well worth a browse. The breakfast was great too, absolutely delicious and again such wonderful attention to detail. We had a perfect stay and would highly recommend.

Excellent location Wonderful host Beautiful property Tea & coffee facilities in room including fridge with milk & biscuits plus all varieties of different herbal teas was lovely.

Was a little cold on the first night although there was a portable heater in the room which Katen told us we could use & we found we actually did have to use on the first night only. It was January & bitter cold outside though! Second night was lovely & toasty & no need for the additional heater. Didn't realise the bathroom wasn't actually en suite until arrival. However the bathroom was next door & lovely & clean & fully equipped with toiletries & plenty of towels & a fantastic shower. Bathrobes were provided in the bedroom too obviously for this reason although wasn't used.

Beautiful location and property is a 300 year old typically Yorkshire stone building. Karen as host was extremely welcoming and helpful. Accomodation is beautifully furnished with period furniture, absolutely and I mean absolutely spotlessly clean. Bedroom, living room and bathroom is very comfortable and relaxing, a real home from home. Karen's attention to detail is noticeable and, although breakfast is continental rather than full English, it is plentiful, of high quality and even home made bread. We have stayed in many places within the UK but this stay was right up there and a perfect relaxing place to stay in this gorgeous part of the world. Would thoroughly recommend!

A delicious selection of breakfast items , everything freshly prepared and plenty of it. The property location was perfect , just off the village centre . Very private and peaceful.

There is absolutely nothing to dislike about staying at The Bohemian Breeze. From the beautiful decor , comfort and welcoming atmosphere, to the kind owner Karen , who makes sure that your stay is a memorable one.

We were familiar with Thornton le Dale, so location was as good as expected. Breakfast was a vegetarian take on a continental breakfast of various cereals, fruit, yoghurt, pastries, breads and jams/marmalades. Superb.

By no means a criticism - when we stayed the weather was, particularly, hot. The provision of a summer weight duvet would have been more comfortable.

Exceptional host, in Karen who was kind and very welcoming, accommodation warm, and comfortable , continental style breakfast had a good array of fresh fruit, cereal, warm croissants, bread, jams. Overall an outstanding property, which we highly recommend

Generous and varied continental breakfast. Lovely clean,cosy cottag exactly as described on website, in a very quiet but convenient position. Excellent pubs, shops, cafes and pretty walks within a few hundred yards. Our lovely hostess Karen was so welcoming, friendly and helpful, and made our stay an absolute pleasure.

Karen is a wonderful host and the continental breakfast was very good, the cottage is just a 2 minute walk away from the village with all the amenities close to hand. Your also conveniently only about 20 mile away from both Whitby and Scarborough.

Loved our stay, lovely and plentyful breakfast and location excellent. Beautiful cottage with lovely room and seperate lounge to relax in and a 2 minutes walk to the picturesque village. Will definately return Thank you Karen had a wonderful stay

Perfect location to explore Thornton-Le- Dale and Matthewson's. Karen the owner was so helpful & friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Loved the bonus of a sitting room to relax in at evening times. Karen had thought of everything we needed to enjoy our stay.
