Well what can I say, This is thee most Beautiful & Panoramic setting I have ever stayed at in the UK & I am well travelled, Me, My Wife & little dog Buddy 🐶 Absolutely Fantastic Location in The Great Dalby Forest, The Hosts Ian & Linda are 2 Lovely & Beautiful people can’t do enough for you, Absolutely Splendid, Greeted with Lovely Coffee & Lovely Scones on arrival The Hot Food at Breakfast was exemplary & plenty of it, If you order continental breakfast to your room its an amazing variety of fresh fruit, Yoghurts, Cheese’s, tea, coffee, toast, marmalades The Hotel & Grounds are Stunning as soon as I saw it online I knew I wanted to Stay at this Location, The Rooms are Beautiful decorated & of a great size, There is everything you need, We are Delighted we chose High Dalby House & will definitely stay again in the near Future Thankyou very much Mr & Mrs Ian & Linda Robinson xx

Very Sad we didn’t book for a week

Ian and Linda were very kind and helpful and made us feel extremely welcome. High Dalby House is a large old house that's full of character. Our room was very spacious and very comfortable with fantastic views over the fabulous garden, which has lawned areas, woodland areas, many paths, a stream and a large pond. High Dalby House is above all a very, very peaceful and tranquil place and I don't remember being anywhere more suited to de-stressing.

Having to leave.

Ian and Linda have a fantastic retreat and are perfect hosts. The gardens and grounds are out of this world. The room was perfect as was the choice of breakfast on offer. We took our two dogs and they were really well catered for. I think the dogs enjoyed themselves as much as we did! Really hope to stay again at some point.

There was nothing not to like it was perfect.

The location in the forest is so peaceful and beautiful. Having the extensive and magnificent gardens with well thought out areas for retreat, rest and relaxation together with opportunities for spiritual reflection made this venue an exceptional find. The hosts were friendly and helpful and went the extra mile to ensure a wonderful stay.

Breakfast was very good, varied menu choice, Cereal, fruit and cooked breakfast. Coffee and tea and orange juice. We could take our dog in with us, and despite our dog being a very unfriendly creature, our hosts were very tolerant!

There wasn't anything we didn't like, it was all very good. Our hosts were very friendly and extremely attentive. They gave us lots of advice and tips of where to visit, which was great. It was a lovely house set in lovely grounds.

We had 3 nights at High Dalby House, and can't fault anything, welcoming, peaceful, quiet, beautiful setting, lovely breakfast and a great night's sleep, can't thank Ian and Linda enough who, after a long drive greeted us with a pot of tea and cake...Would love to return with our dog next time to explore Dalby forest and the area more, with visits to Whitby for fish and chips, Whitby Abbey, Robin Hoods Bay and Thornton la Dale, just a beautiful place to stay and recharge and a stunning area to visit.

The property is stunning in the most beautiful area, the land is vast with a beautiful garden,waterways and woodlands full of birds, Ian and Linda were perfect hosts looking after us improbably with a pot of tea and warm scones on our arrival the breakfast was delicious

The hosts make you feel like you are part of the family. The breakfast choices were amazing and delicious, it certainly sets you up for the day. The gardens are beautiful and I still can’t believe they maintain the vast area they have. The surrounding area provides lots of walking possibilities. Great for the dog who was made most welcome.

Absolutely nothing.

Linda and Ian were lovely hosts, very warm and welcoming. The setting is beautiful, with many different areas to sit and take in the surroundings. The location is fabulous, right in the forest, but also close to the moors, coast and other places of interest. We will definitely be returning.

Everything. The setting is beautiful, the owners are lovely and couldn't do enough for you. The room was great so quiet and peaceful. You have so many places on your doorstep to visit or you could stay close to the house and walk around the gorgeous garden and venture down the round to Dalby Forest.

There is nothing not to like.
