100% staff care and help.100%location. 100% cleanliness. Good atmosphere and parking.Food at the evening meal was exceptional and plentiful.Plenty of parking.Beautiful little village.Room was small and well furnished but I am glad I had the room to myself.
Breakfast very disappointing.I eat healthily, no cooked meal or toast.Lacked fresh fruit and yoghurt.Tinned prunes and grapefruit, like many people if you are on statins grapefruit is a no go. In view of this I thought it pretty expensive.Very hot weather and bedroom windows difficult to open when you have to get down on your knees to reach them.

The evening meal was lovely. Staff were very friendly, and the bar was cosy. The room was comfortable, the bed was good and the tea & coffee, etc. were plentiful.
We were in room 8, above the bar, and while the noise through the floor didn't bother us too much, I could imagine it bothering others wishing an early night. It's a village pub, so expect it to have that feel. As others have said, "the full english" was not to the standard of the evening meals, but acceptable. Again the breakfast staff were very good.

Room was very clean and Beautifully decorated. The complimentary water in the room was a very welcomed touch. All staff were welcoming and friendly. Food in the Inn was exceptional, we would highly recommend staying and eating in this establishment. Parking was available and free.
The only negative of our stay was the shower in the bathroom. This was rather dated and "weak". In no way did this little issue detract from our enjoyment, just some feedback for the review.

Breakfast & evening meals were faultless..😋 Location was great, garden and dog walking area was a bonus along with car parking.
Main grumble was bed was too soft..!! Sprung base was probably past its sell by date...need solid wood frame and better mattress going forward. Maybe room could do with a bit more love..🙂

Great food served by lovely staff. Room very clean, with a comfy bed and a nice big bathroom. Very, very dog friendly - dog towels freely available, sausages for the dog at breakfast. Excellent location - a few miles from the main road taking you across the bottom of the North York Moors National Park, with lots of beautiful old towns nearby. Quiet little moors village with lots of history and sheep roaming freely around. Walking my dog in the morning, I chatted with two really nice locals and saw loads of animals - bulls, horses, sheep (everywhere), squirrels and what I think were alpacas.
Room felt a tiny bit small, maybe because floor space had to include our dog bed. Room looked onto tables at the side, which could be a bit noisy if you had a small child who needed to sleep on a summer evening. None of this is a deal breaker though, as it was great value for money and everyone made you feel welcome.

The Moors Inn is a lovely place, in a very nice village and surrounding area. The staff were all very helpful and friendly also attentive. The pub was clean and welcoming, a lively friendly bar with a good atmosphere. The food we had was excellent and very reasonably priced. We would stay again and eat there again, but ask for a different room, see the comments below.
We were in a room above the bar which was no problem at all for the noise, it was not unduly noisy but a pleasant background hum really. The only little problem was that the shower door did not open really far enough for either my husband or myself to get comfortably into the shower, the shower itself was hot and powerful, a bonus. We are not small people but not enormous either, I don’t think the problem could have been resolved so we did not mention it. But worth asking about a different room if you are on the larger build size!

All the food was superb. We ate breakfast on two days and dined there on one evening. Staff were very friendly and it is a beautiful location, especially the beer garden with the views.
We had to leave to go home! Close to York for travel and car hire but also in a beautiful part of the world. Great place to stay as a base or for a quiet romantic weekend.

The place and village is beautiful been a few times now. The staff will do anything to help, the bar are normal prices not inflated which is refreshing. The food is outstanding
Nothing to dislike. Air conditioning would be a good addition with the weather being so warm.

Peaceful surroundings, beautiful inn. Happy accommodating staff, excellent food. Clean and comfortable. Two Female motorcycles, we struggled getting our large bikes back up the long gravel car park to the road. Staff offered to help us, we managed by ourselves in the end but the offer of help was much appreciated. Thank you for your kindness.
Didn’t stay long enough.

Excellent service from all staff, owner very engaging and on hand. Location great. Value for money on food and drinks, food quality excellent.
Although we knew it was a dog friendly hotel if we asked for a quiet room it wasn’t quite at 6.00am when the dogs next door where bounding around the room and the owner banged his door on taking them out to toilet. Based on that we wouldn’t return, if rooms allocate to owners and pets it would have been better. However my daughter has a dog and would recommend.
