Alice the hostess was excellent nothing was too much trouble, breakfast was fabulous view from the dining room was stunning, cosy with the fire lit, we were served tea in the sitting room on our return from our day out in front of a fire and Alice even had made cake's, my husband is a coeliac so it was made even better because it was gluten free cake. I would definitely recommend it, the area was lovely and we were given recommendations by Alice of places to eat in and of course the view's were amazing too.

No ensuite we were the only ones staying so had the bathroom to ourselves if there had been other guest's you had to go across the landing to get to it so would have been a bit awkward.

Beautiful house and location with an incredibly helpful and friendly host. She made us feel very at home and went above and beyond with many personal touches. The room (and house) was spacious, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and had lovely views over the garden and surrounding countryside. Breakfast was excellent and to order. House was located just on the edge of the moors, so perfect for walking and seeing the local area. It was a very short walk into Hutton le Hole.

Alice was an amazing host and we had so much extra space to enjoy: the garden with patio table, chairs and umbrella, a living room where we could relax, coffee and tea making facilities, huge bedroom with comfy bed and fantastic views. The shower was great and there was a lovely big bathtub which I hope to use next time. I loved the window seats and the breakfast was delicious: fresh, local eggs; artisan bread, homemade jam and marmalade, local honey. We loved this place so much we are going back and taking our friends. Alice was amazing nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was great, fireplace in the lounge made it cosy, quiet area, free parking, comfy bed and lovely bathroom. Couldn't ask for more!

There was nothing we didn't like, it was incredible!

Excellent breakfast, amazing views, very comfy bed (best nights sleep I’ve had in ages), made to feel very welcome and left feeling very relaxed. Like that they only have two rooms so your stay is not rushed, relaxing and can enjoy some peace and quiet. Lovely to be able to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine, listening to the animals and nature whilst taking in the glorious views.

We hadn't realised that the private bathroom was on the other side of the house (because of plumbing constraints). In practice, this wasn't much of an issue for us (given the other guests at the time), but in other circumstances I suppose it might have been.

Location ,room and welcome were excellent,hospitality was excellent. Lovely downstairs snug area ,and home made gluten free cake on arrival.

Perhaps bath robes could be provided or mentioned as bathroom isn't en suite and across a landing used by another bedroom- but this didn't detract from the stay -

An old farmhouse with wobbly floorboards and a zillion books. The sleep in the double bed was fantastic. Evening /Afternoon Tea on arrival and a great breakfast. Lots of home baking going on here. Alice was a great host

The bathroom was great but across a landing and the lack of a TV was a niggle.

This house is very close to a cute and picturesque village and so close to several walks on the moors. Alice is a fantastic host and she can’t do enough to help you. Our room was great with a spectacular view and a super comfortable bed. We felt like at home and breakfast is amazing, it kept us going all day. When we were leaving we felt like we were saying goodbye to a family member and will definitely go back again.

Lovely room, comfortable bed, access to lounge area, tea/coffee making facilities, good breakfast, gorgeous quiet location and views. Alice was really helpful and even came to collect us from an evening in a local pub after my husband hurt his ankle. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!
