The location of this guest house is ideally placed in the middle of the village, with easy access to parking, and within easy reach of Pickering and the coast, as well as lots of other attractions and the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors. The room was good with plenty of space and was very clean. The hosts Caroline and Gareth were very welcoming and friendly, it was a pleasure to stay with them. As for the breakfast it was amazing, plenty of it freshly cooked and using quality meats, it couldn’t be faulted. We would certainly recommend a stay here.

Lovely, welcoming hosts keen to make our stay a pleasure. Thank you Caroline & Gareth. Our view looked over the beautiful Hutton-le-Hole village. A clean, comfortable en-suite room, with a top notch coffee maker! There was a comfy shared lounge area that we could also use. Excellent breakfast - the hosts have a thorough understanding of dietary requirements. The Crown, a convenient 2 minutes walk away, was great for food & drinks (again catering for gluten intolerance and veggie). Friendly, good service.

Gorgeous Guest House in a perfect location. Caroline and Gareth were very welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Amazing breakfast. Room was lovely and the bed was comfortable and a lovely powerful shower after a long day walking. Loved the shared lounge for extra space. Our dog was very welcomed. Both us and our dog were made to feel very welcome. We plan another visit soon. Lovely pub close by who were also dog friendly.

As soon as I arrived, Caroline welcomed me and couldn't have been any nicer. The location was perfect, the room was comfortable, Gareth's breakfasts were very tasty. I felt like I'd known them both for years. I had arrived to conduct my daughter's wedding and due to her having to travel a long way, Caroline said it was fine for her to get ready in my room. Everything was just perfect

That i only got to stay 2 nights

The location is great, now very quiet. Check the opening times of the village inn as it has reduced opening days. The owners are very friendly , helpful and always contactable. The breakfasts are superb, lots of variety and in a great setting. As a dog owner we appreciate the consideration of the owners towards the use of outside spaces. There are good walking routes from the door and the villagers we met were friendly and chatty. The village location is within an hour of the sea (ask the owner for advice). Thankyou.

Clean and friendly plus parking.

A little noisy at night ,unfortunately single glazed windows ,joys of old buildings..noisy doors , yale locks aren't user friendly .. be nice to have outdoor seating in the sun at evening , not often we get sun i know , but when it's warm don't want to sit in or sit in the shade .. very friendly hardworking staff , this is just my opinion so don't take personally..

Great little guest house combined with a local tea room. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Dog friendly and welcoming. Rooms were adequately equipped for our short stay and had all the amenities necessary to make our stay pleasant and comfortable. Breakfast, which is taken in the tea room, was excellent: tasty and substantial. All-in-all a great visit and would happily return

The breakfast was excellent.I am not over fond of a full English breakfast but I did have it once during my stay & it was excellent.I had scrambled eggs & boiled eggs & they were very well prepared. There was plenty of fruit cereals.& other appetisers. The location of the Barn is delightful.A wonderful Yorkshire village. The proprietors were very friendly & helpful.

The duvet was a bit heavy for me but I didn't complain about it.

Location was ideal for our weekend away. Really pleased with our find of "the Barn". Breakfast was really good. Very very tasty and good that you could select items to make up your brekkie ! Room was very clean and reasonably spacious. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Seemed to be plenty of parking space. Nice views overlooking the village green.

Could well have been just the room we had - but the shower was on the "cosy side" !!! But for our short stay ? No problem. Otherwise ? Everything spot on
