Breakfast was perfect, fresh, well cooked and good ingredients. The view onto the field of rabbits and the amusing Guinea fowl was a pleasant change of scenery. Fridge to store drinks and snacks. Short drive to local town. Nice and relaxing, especially when the sun shines. Scenic 40 minute drive to Whitby. Good choice tea tray with biscuits. Bath robes in the cupboard and clothes storage.

Matress on the bed was not to our comfort level, maybe staff could try it out just to see. A few cobwebs and dust spiders but that could purely be to do with location and I know staff would have vacuumed them had we requested. Could do with socket by mirror if possible.

Breakfast was first class, fruit juice, fruit, full English, toast and coffee all very good. Smoked Salmon and eggs also provided but we did no try, nice touch! Room was large with a good sized "Wet room" the shower was notable with lots of hot water, towels largish and good quality. Beds though single were very combatable with adequate sized duvet covers and lots of cushions/pillows. Added benefit was large "French Windows" looking out across open fields giving a very spacious feel to the whole room. The heat was just right not too hot but certainly combatable. Dinner was good, interesting menu well cooked and served, wine list a little restricted but the Shiraz I chose from the Bin End collection was very good. Cost of the meal for two including drinks was very reasonable. This is a lot longer review than I usually do, because I think the location disserves it. We will most defiantly stay again in the near future. Well done all keep up the good work.

All aspects good or excellent.

The hosts Karen & Ian were very welcoming. The location was very peaceful. Our room was spacious, clean & relaxing. Our view from our room & patio area was the beauty of nature watching rabbits run around & birds singing. The restaurant was small & overlooked a paddock with sheep & lambs with a seating area. The menu & food was varied & absolutely delicious. Nothing was too much trouble. Only 6 miles from Helmsley & the opposite direction 7 miles from Pickering. We visited Duncombe park. The weather was on our side 😎 A Gem of a find 💖 We will definitely return ✨

Absolutely nothing. It was amazing 🌷

The location is fantastic for getting around. The size of the room was great with an excellent shower. The breakfast choices and quality products were first rate with great service. Our hosts were very attentive. Thank you.

Our room had a small step up from the bed area to the bathroom which was a slight hazard in the middle of the night when needing the bathroom. Anyone with mobility issues might also need to take this into account. The room is also adjacent to the restaurant which was a little noisy with customers coming and going in general during the evening.

Our stay at at Brickfields farm was far better than our expectations, the food was delicious & reasonably priced, our room “Buttercup” was excellent as an assisted room & the location was really close to Pickering for our choices of location. The facility was extremely well laid out & planned, all the staff were very friendly & extremely helpful. We will be happy to return to Brickfield in the near future. Thanks for making our visit extremely comfortable. Parking was directly outside our room with an electric charging point close by on the car park for electricity charging for a small fee, which took car of going out to find one. A great help, thank you!

The court yard was rather difficult to control the handicapped walker over but I could park directly outside our room.

We stayed in Buttercup room and it was fabulous. A large room suitable for wheelchair access if required. Great to have a sofa to sit and look at the great views, a fridge and small kitchenette area, a huge comfy bed and bathroom. Everything was super clean and high quality furnishings. Breakfast was excellent and the owners are super friendly. We will definitely return, highly recommend it.

Nothing, it was excellent.

The room was large, bright and clean and had everything that we needed, with a door onto a terrace with a table and chairs and a lovely view over the fields. Just off the A170 outside Kirkbymoorside, the location is convenient for the North York Moors, but it is a good idea to book the restaurant (open Wednesday to Saturday and Sunday lunch) as it is off the beaten track. Dinner was delicious - plenty of choice and good quality food that was well-prepared, served in a lovely room, again overlooking fields with wandering sheep. Breakfast was generous and the owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. There was plenty of parking.

Nothing.

Our second stay at Brickfields Farm. We love the rooms, this time we stayed in Rose. Fabulous views with patio door which opens on to a flagged patio with seating to enjoy the views and the wildlife. Our room offered a two seater sofa, a TV with all the channels, large Queen size bed. Plenty of storage space. A small kitchen area and a lovely wet room completed the accommodation. Breakfast was served in the main building and there was also a fully equipped bar. Brickfields Farm offers an evening dining experience on Wednesday to Saturday evening and Sunday lunch. The food was fabulous. The owners and staff were all happy to help and were all very pleasant and friendly. Excellent.

Nothing, we like it as it is, Ian & Karen work hard along with all the staff to make sure you have an exceptional time.

Fabulous accommodation within lovely relaxing and welcoming settings . Room stunning with comfortable beds and amazing wet room which was brilliant for my disabled husband . Breakfast delicious and served with a smile . Hosts really friendly and helpful . Loved the Guinea fowl wandering freely when we were sat on patio .

This is not a negative but would have liked to try evening meal in the resturant but due to being very popular with delicious food it was booked up. Will definitely book in advance before we go again .
