The Nepalese restaurant was superb, would recommend to anyone. Great choice, very attentive staff, food served quickly and freshly cooked. Ideal location for using Gatwick Airport about 20 mins away. Did not have breakfast as had to leave fairly early to catch our flight. Room had usual facilities including a good choice of tea and coffee. Beds were comfortable. We faced the main road, but due to double glazing did not hear the traffic. Room was a little warm but a cooler had been provided which we didn't use, we should have as it was warm when we got up and had to open the window

Breakfast was not an option. Porridge, coffee, tea and biscuits are available in bedrooms. The hotel was difficult to find because it is actually called The Gurkha Restaurant and there is nothing to show that it’s The Woodcock Inn. I drove past it as the SatNav instructions told us to bear left on Woodcock Hill, when I was already driving SW on that road. Obviously I could not look at my phone whilst driving, so could not see that the road splits around the restaurant and a few other properties.

Clearer instructions from Booking.com. I didn’t see any mention of the Gurkha.

The location was close to Lingfield race track where we were visiting. The staff were exceptionally helpful. It was an extremely hot day and they organised fans in all the rooms. They opened the restaurant when we arrived back quite late and the food is exceptional in the restaurant. The staff cannot do enough for you, so helpful. The rooms have everything you need although a little dated.

The Inn is also a very friendly restaurant, so dinner was sorted. The request for gf and vegan food was fulfilled well, both in the restaurant and in the room. The room was comfy and easy to access.

We were on the front of the pub and the curtains weren't blackout curtains, so every passing car on the main A road cast a beam into the room. The double glazing did deal with the sound however. Great value for the money.

The bed, although only a standard 4'6" double, was comfortable and we slept well. They don't officially do breakfast, but they left 2 pots of instant porridge and some muesli bars, along with bottled water, in the room, which was a pleasing gesture. We also appreciated our little seating area in the corridor. The location is good - once you realise you need to look out for the Gurkha restaurant sign, more prominent than the mention of the Woodcock Inn. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the meal in the restaurant was excellent!

For us, being on the second floor wasn't ideal, as the corridor roof slopes, and my husband is very tall. He also had to watch his head inside our room. The shower was adequate, but the door handle inside was loose, which we reported.

Superb little find this hotel. had to go to Brighton for an event so wanted to stay nearby the night before and found this hotel. Parking out the back which was free, quick service on reception then led up to your room. No key as they have a fob system which was easy to use. Hotel has a superb Nepalese restaurant below it that guests can book into. Very busy on the Saturday night we stayed as many locals travel to it, but they were quick to find us a table after 10 mins sat at the bar. Quick service, friendly staff. Unfortunately, we'd had a curry the night before so didn't sample the Nepalese food but it looked & smelled great. We opted for a pizza & chips and weren't disappointed. Friendly staff, quick to wish us a good nights sleep when we returned to our room. We checked out early and they have a key drop option. Nice provisions in the room as alongside tea & coffee they provided 2 porridge pots and 2 grain bars. Nice touch seeing as we would have had to get something somewhere on route so that saved us that hassle/cost. Room was great, comfy bed, well equipped bathroom with good shower. Towels provided as was shower gel.

Room at the back was very warm as radiators were on. Left a window slightly open during the night but staff leaving the restaurant at 1am very chatty and took a while to disperse. Suggest leaving windows shut if your room looks out the back.

We had an early start leaving the accommodation around 6.30pm. The next stage was to park the car at Cophall Parking which was just 7/8 minutes away. The stay was comfortable and the evening meal was lovely. We have no adverse comment to make about the accommodation or location to Gatwick Airport.

If we use the accommodation again, being on the frontage, we would not open the windows as the traffic use on the road outside was pretty frequent from early on.

From arrival we were greeted warmly and shown to our room. Complimentary porridge oats, coffees and bottled water made for a welcomed surprise. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff. There is a fabulous restaurant built into the hotel called The Gurkha, the food was amazing.... We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, infact we are going to book again for next year even though the event that we attended is in its own luxurious hotel.... We just felt so well looked after at The Felbridge

Great location and staying above a simply superb Gurkha restaurant was amazing. The staff were exemplary and changed our first room (17) where the WiFi was non existent. Very helpful and friendly staff. Tea and coffee making facilities plus snacks provided !

The mattress was not great to be honest. No hot water in the morning. No possibility of breakfast (so bring your own !!)

The hospitality of the staff was out of this world.i would always go back.Ron and the staff looked after us with such care n diligence.My partner and I were so overwhelmed by hospitable the staff are. The food n drinks right down to the cappuccinos were made with love. You could taste the love in all things edible.
