This is a lovely little boutique hotel that seems more like a B&B. It's a quaint little cottage building overlooking the Dana Point Harbor. Our room was large with a nice outdoor patio, that, although it wasn't private since we were on the first floor, was still nice to sit and drink coffee and wine out there. There was a fireplace in our room, but we didn't use it since it wasn't quite cold enough for a fire yet, but I imagine it would be really nice to lounge in your room with a fire in the fireplace. The breakfast provided in the morning was delicious with plenty of choices, and they have wine, cheese, and cookies in the afternoon. I also saw bikes on the patio that appeared to be free for guests to use, and though we didn't use them, that's a nice option to have.

I don't really have any complaints. Everything was lovely and we truly enjoyed our stay here.

Beautiful property. Near restaurants in the Lantern District. Wonderful views of the harbor. Easy parking in an on-site lot. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Didn’t try the afternoon wine and cheese however.

Mattress was a bit uncomfortable. Husband said “saggy”. Workers installed new carpeting above our room with tap-tap-tapping during one morning which was annoying. Would’ve liked a heads-up from the staff. Not all rooms have an ocean view. Few 2-bed rooms available. No pool but not a deal-breaker.

Location was great, close to restaurants and the marina. Exceptional view of Dana Point Harbor from the balcony and the room. Staff was very accommodating and happy. We will be back.

The bed could have been a bit softer for our older bodies. A hand held showerhead would be a nice added feature instead of a fixed showerhead.

It is the best views, very good proximity to walk and enjoy the town. It was very clean, very helpful and the breakfast and wine hour was a great experience to meet other guests and the food was excellent. We were looking forward to get away and relax, and it was exactly what we were able to experience. We will definitely go back.

The breakfasts are top tier, plenty of different options to choose from. The jet bathtub in our room was also well maintained and a great addition to the room

The bed that we had in our room was absolutely terrible. The frame was very creamy and unstable and the mattress sagged in the middle so you fell into the center of the mattress

Located in an amazing location - the hotel has an amazing view of the harbor and close to the rest of establishments (restaurants, cafes). The hotel has delicious breakfast and afternoon tea settings too. But my favorite part was the hotel staff! Everyone was so welcoming and delighted to be there. Thank you for making our weekend so hospitable and enjoyable.

Everything. I really can’t find anything to criticize. First of all the location of the Inn. It’s over the hill looking the ocean. Although a bit old but well maintained. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was at Third story, very spacious, clean, comfortable and cozy. The balcony was amazing. We sat there every evening having our complementary Wine and Cheese platter so called Picnic basket enjoying the beautiful scenery. Bathroom renovated and equipped with Jacuzzi tub, two wash basins and a shower. Bed very comfortable as well. Breakfast was included and it was really good. Upon arrival I expressed our trip reason being 27th anniversary and as we landed in our room a bottle of champagne was our welcome gift. Very nice of them.

Many stays here over the years. Always clean; helpful and pleasant staff. Excellent location; walkable to scores of dining options.

Room rate has gotten a bit out of control, but I guess if they can get it then that’s what they do. Can’t imagine a multiple night stay here at these prices. Bathroom could use an upgrade; take out the dated jacuzzi tub and put in a walk-in shower.

Location is ideal. The hotel provides ‘free’ cheese & wine at 4pm each day. Lots of toiletries available in the bathroom. Breakfast included which was good.

Pricey. Would prefer a lower room rate and less ‘free’ items.

The beautiful views ,Our room and staff made our stay memorable. We enjoyed Our Breakfast in our balcony watching the beautiful sunrise and waves! As me and my wife celebrated our 19th anniversary, We loved it ,So we decided to stay another night. Our Romantic beautiful Room and stay was excellent!!
