Comfortable room, the bed was very comfortable. Great breakfast and location. Everything was nice and clean. The pool was nice and clean, but wish they also had a jacuzzi.

I think my one complaint is that the elevator needs some updating. It was extremely slow and was the only thing in the building that looked old and in disrepair. And while the location is great, it is right by a busy road so it can be a little loud, especially if you are out on the balcony or have the balcony door open.

Parking was easy; so was check-in. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The property is conveniently located on PCH. The housekeeping staff members were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was a great bargain, and the staff members in the breakfast room were friendly, patient and efficient. They deserve a raise.

The bathroom was generally nice, but the sink drain was slow. We were in Room 287.

The staff was so helpful and kind. I really enjoyed being able to access the fresh air from the large patio. The mural was fun for my children to see each morning when we came outside. The breakfast was good. The location was great. Gourmet pizza, walk to the beach, etc. I had a few necessary special requests that the staff helped me with. Thanks for making our stay great. :)

The stairs were under repair for the duration of our stay on the side closest to us. There were other options and an elevator a bit further. The charger for my laptop would not stay plugged in for most of the electric outlets on the walls. There was only one that I could make work for the charger to stay put, located on the base of one lamp.

We have stayed here several times. This time was the most expensive, August must be their high peak period. But regardless, its a great location for walking to restaurants and the beach.

Seeing an extra charge on my VISA bill that I now will have to call about. Plus, I didn't receive an invoice as promised by staff. I had paid for this with Booking.com over 2 months ago. We didn't have a car, so no parking fee should have been charged either.

The suite is great. We loved having a room to tuck in the little one and a livingroom for adults to hang out. Wet bar in room is a plus because its a small sink, fridge with small top freezer, a microwave and cabinets which is like a mini kitchen. The jetted tub made for fun bath time for the little one. Fold out sofa bed was super comfy too if you need it. Window in the livingroom area provided nice light and balcony was rather roomy off the bedroom. The staff is wonderful, very friendly, very attentive. The pool was clean and lightly heated to a comfortable temp. Free breakfast was actually really good. Each day was a little different, there were 2 different egg options, a type of breakfast potato, a breakfast meat, all kinds of breads to toast, condiments galore, yogurt with toppings, juices, coffees, fruit and types of muffins. Staff kept everything full, hot and refilled constantly 6:30am-9:30am.

We wish the balcony had some chairs and a table it’s kind of wasted space without a place to sit. No towels at the pool, good thing we had beach towels. TV in each room was nice, but the remotes barely work, you have to stand almost next to the tv to get them to work. The pancake machine didn’t work all 4 days, which was disappointing to our child.

Location is great, close to the beach and my favorite little eatery Thai Dara in walking distance. However, it’s right on PCH so super loud if you like to sleep with an open window.

Housekeeping emptied the trash and cleaned bathroom for the first 2 days. After that they didn’t anymore. For full cleaning your room you have to let front desk know the evening before; however, empty trash apparently should be done every day on default.

Spa bathtub, large room, easy parking, breakfast buffet. Very good location that is 1/4 mile walking distance to Del Prado with grocery store, shops, and restaurants. Dana Point harbor, bluff walking paths, and beaches are close by. Laguna Beach is right up the road.

Not enough fruit and vegetables with the breakfast. Tub stopper was difficult to lift and slow to drain. Make-up mirror should have better lighting.

I really liked the location, even though it could be noisy at times from the busy street it was close to everything we needed! The staff were all friendly and the room was clean. Would definitely stay here again!

There definitely were some things that needed updating but nothing of huge importance. I do wish the pool area was bigger and had more chairs but again nothing of huge importance as there are tons of beaches nearby.

The hotel is located close to the cute lantern street downtown, close to the marina and only 6 minute from great beaches!!! It’s Clean and has everything you need and the price is right. They have complimentary breakfasts but are also right across the best French bakery ever called the Le saint Honore. Our room had the jet tub , this room was very spacious and great if you are staying multiple days. The shower pressure was amazing too!!!

Could use decor update with more beach inspired furniture

The property was well kept and the room was clean. The staff was so helpful with our questions and vey accommodating.. I had to extend my stay by a night and also book a room for two more family members. Laurie was so helpful in getting us adjoining rooms. Check in was a breeze. The bed was so comfy, pillows excellent. Towels - thick and fluffy and amenities were great. The breakfasts were good - especially liked the menu for the following two days is posted ahead of time. The staff in the breakfast room is amazing. They were constantly wiping down tables, counters, and refilling foods all the time. And asking if there is anything we needed. Enjoyed the convenience of the takeout bag and containers - made it easy to eat breakfast on the go. I have stayed in many Best Westerns and been disappointed with the accommodations. I was reluctant to book but they were within walking distance of my nieces apartment so decided to try it again. If I am ever in Dana Point again I will definitely be staying with you. Thank you for a pleasant two night stay.
